Matrixx Productions

Matrixx Productions (Matrixx Entertainment Corporation) also known as MEC, is an entertainment company which acquires and develops screenplays, produces features and documentaries, offers training, courses and consulting, provides post production services and distributes movies over the broadband Internet.

The log-line for Matrixx Entertainment could be summed up as, "Features and documentaries that matter."

Founded as Matrixx Productions in 1981 in Studio City, California by James Jaeger, Andrew Cofrin, Paul Gibbons, Ken Gullekson, Oscar-winning producer, John Longenecker (DGA), Eugene Jaeger and Tristan Romeo - the company was incorporated November of 1990. Because many of his production philosophies were integrated into the Matrixx Business Plan, James Jaeger's mentor, the late Lee Garmes, ASC, DGA (Gone With The Wind), has been granted honorary co-founder status.

Matrixx Productions - founded in part to continue goals set forth by Lee Garmes and his companies, Academy Artists, Inc. and the Independent Screen Producers Association (predecessor to the AFMA) of which Mr. Jaeger is a founding member - began modestly by producing TV commercials, public service announcements and live variety shows (featuring such talent as Gregory Peck, Tom Jones, Paul Williams, Ron Ross and Helen Hayes).

Between 1983 and 1984 the company produced and released its first half-hour narrative drama entitled THE PICKUP (Andrew Cofrin, Deborah Moore) and its first feature, SNAPSHOT BLUES (Monique Gabrielle, Paul Eagleton, Marty Korse). Many other narrative dramatic films have been produced since, all available at Pay-Per-View.com.

In 2005 Matrixx Entertainment partnered with Cornerstone Entertainment to produce its first documentary, IF YOU CAN KEEP IT (featuring Peter Lillback). In future years many other documentaries have been produced, among which were FIAT EMPIRE - Why the Federal Reserve Violates the U.S. Constitution featuring Ted Baehr, G. Edward Griffin, Ron Paul and Edwin Vieira. FIAT EMPIRE garnered a Telly Award and went viral as the top-downloaded documentary on the Internet for six months.

Matrixx Productions continues to produce and release features and documentaries that matter. Recently released features have been: ORIGINAL INTENT - How the Democratic and Republican Parties are Destroying the American Dream (Ted Baehr, Pat Buchanan, G. Edward Griffin, Ron Paul, Edwin Vieira); CULTURAL MARXISM - The Corruption of America (Ted Baehr); TESLA DAYS (Nikola Lonchar, Leslie Baird); and CORPORATE FASCISM - The Destruction of America's Middle Class (Pat Buchanan, Ron Paul).

Recently completed is SPOiLER - How a Third Political Party Could Win (featuring, Chuck Baldwin, Pat Buchanan, G. Edward Griffin, Nelson Hultberg, Peter Lillback, John McManus, Edwin Vieira and John Williams, with guest appearances by Congressman Ron Paul and Senatorial candidate, Jack Rooney. SPOiLER, written and directed by James Jaeger, was inspired by The Conservative Revolution, a book by political strategist, Nelson Hultberg, and was produced by Matrixx Productions in association with The Foundation for the Advancement of Free-Market Thinking. Executive produced by, Sheila Conner, Brian G. Rockey and Anthony Wile, the producer unit is rounded out by associate producers, Elias Alias, Dan Happel and Diana Zoppa.
