Timothy Geithner
Who is he: Timothy Geithner is the current US Secretary of the Treasury and is the past President of the New York Federal Reserve, the second most powerful position after Chairman of the Fed. Geithner was very actively involved in bailing out his financial buddies with taxpayer dollars and hundreds of billions of dollars in future national debt added to the productive citizens of the United States. Geithner is best known or despised for his association with the $160 billion in bailout funds which went for the AIG problems as well as the bonuses paid to the top management of AIG after the bailouts. Also, he was quite forgetful and apparently uninformed regarding his tax history.
Timothy Franz Geithner is a "card carrying member" of the Anglo-American Axis, although this statement is made in jest as there are no membership cards for this group. Although born in Brooklyn, NY, during his school years Geithner lived in many foreign countries. Geitner graduated high school at the International School of Bangkok. Geithner's father was the director of the Asia Program for the Ford Foundation.
Background: After growing up mostly in Asia and Africa, Timothy Geithner attended and graduated from the Ivy League Dartmouth University in New Hampshire with a degree in Government and Asian Studies, which helped prepare him for a career in Anglo-American controlled foundations, finance and government service. In addition, Geithner received a M.A. degree in International Economics and East Asian Studies from Johns Hopkins University and is fluent in Japanese and Mandarin.
Geithner first worked at Kissinger Associates and then the US Treasury, starting in 1988. Geithner's path to success was very fast as he later became Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs under Treasury Secretaries Larry Summers and Robert Rubin. Geithner then left the Treasury and joined the Council on Foreign Relations before heading to the IMF. At the age of 42 Timothy Geithner was named President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Geithner is on the board of directors of the Center for Global Development, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, serves as a trustee of the Economic Club of New York, a committee Chairman of the Bank for International Settlements and a member of the Bilderberg Group.
