James Armand Edmond de Rothschild

Who was he: James Armand Edmond de Rothschild was born in France but became a British politician and philanthropist. The boundaries of nations mean little to wealthy Rothschild elites who apparently control nations, empires and international corporations the way regular people own automobiles.

James Rothschild fought for the French during the First World War but ended up with the British Army in Palestine as a major with the Jewish Battalion and Jewish Legion. One of the heirs to the Rothschild banking fortune and global empire, James Rothschild is best known for contributing massive funding for the construction of a permanent Knesset (parliament) building for the new nation of Israel.

Just before James Rothschild's death, he contacted Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and made him aware that Rothschild would donate 6 million Israeli pounds for the construction of a permanent Knesset building in Jerusalem as a gift to the State of Israel. The land was leased from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem. Rothschild stated that the Knesset should be, "a symbol, in the eyes of all men, of the permanence of the State of Israel."

In addition, all of the land owned by Rothschild's Palestine Jewish Colonization Association was transferred to the Jewish National Fund, an organization working to develop Israeli land and infrastructure. James Rothschild died on May 7, 1957 in London, England. Between James, his father, Edmond James de Rothschild, and the rest of the Rothschild dynasty, they have left two legacies to the world. The first is the nation of Israel which would not exist today if not for the Rothschild funding, support and political power.

Second, the Rothschilds have forced upon the world through political power, war and manufactured crises, their vision of almost every nation establishing a central bank issuing worthless paper currency and fake bonds controlled by a hidden monetary elite. This is their business model and how they control the politicians and leaders of most nations. Nathaniel Meyer Rothschild said it best, "Give me the control of the credit of a nation, and I care not who makes the laws."

It appears that Israel, the United States and most Western nations have surrendered sovereignty to the monetary power elite of the Anglo-American Axis, an axis in a sense led by the Rothschilds and the family's business model. This would seem to be an intolerable situation for free people everywhere in the world.

Background: James Rothschild was born on December 1, 1878, the son of Edmond James de Rothschild, an avid Zionist and part of the Rothschild family international banking dynasty in France. James was educated in Paris, France at the Lycee Louis-le-Grand and at Trinity College in Cambridge, England. In World War One, Rothschild surprisingly served first in the French Army as a private but later was ordered to serve under General Allenby in the Middle East theatre of war. Allenby was the general in charge of the Egyptian Expeditionary Force which conquered Palestine in 1917 and Syria in 1918 from the Ottoman Empire.

Rothschild's transfer from the battlefields and trench warfare of France to the Middle East was not an army decision but probably one inspired by the power of the Rothschild family dynasty, as they had a very important mission for James Rothschild. Under Allenby, James Rothschild immediately began raising funds for the Jewish Legion from the Rothschild affiliates and other Zionist groups and individuals.

The Jewish Legion consisted of five battalions of Jewish volunteers which fought for the British, initially in Gallipoli against the Turks in the invasion failure devised and promoted by Winston Churchill during the First World War. Later in Palestine, Zionists around the world and in Palestine saw this as a unique opportunity to promote the growing idea of a Jewish national homeland.

Conveniently, Rothschild became a naturalized citizen of Great Britain in 1919 and in 1924 he was elected to the British Parliament. Subsequently Rothschild was actively involved in the parliamentary debates and discussions in 1931 on the White Papers of Passfield, which committed the British Empire to supporting a Jewish national homeland in Palestine. Again, James Rothschild advanced Zionist interests in 1939 urging that Palestine be turned into a British dominion. After the war in 1924, Rothschild's father, Edmond de Rothschild, appointed James as president of the "Palestine Jewish Colonization Association" and he retained this position for the rest of his life.
