Obama's Speech Fumbles Elite Themes

By Anthony Wile

Anthony Wile

The speech on the Middle East given by Barack Obama the other night was yet more evidence of how the power elite is having a good deal of trouble implementing its dominant social themes in the 21st century. The speech itself was supposed to be another "historical" moment for Barack Obama. Instead it turned out to be just one more dreary, uncompelling catalogue of American policies in the Middle East. In a fast-moving news environment, the speech came across as reactive – and its policies unpersuasive.

The US President did make some dubious news. He announced he was shoveling some cash toward Tunisia and Egypt and, more importantly, he suggested that Israel return to its 1967 borders as it pursued peace accords with the Palestinians. This elicited yet more wearisome reactions. "President Obama has thrown Israel under the bus," said former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. Former US House Speaker Newt Gingrich called the speech a "disaster." How predictable. The "protect Israel against the Arab world" meme is one we've heard repeatedly for decades.

Obama made much of the US commitment to spreading democracy in the Middle East – and this too is an ancient elite theme, that the US must lead the way for the world when it comes to moral uprightness. Unfortunately, Obama didn't mention that both Egypt and Tunisia had been destabilized at least in part by CIA trained youth movements like the AYM. Since many are aware of this – as it has been reported in the mainstream and alternative press – he comes across as hypocritical rather than committed.

He elaborated a good deal on Syria and Libya, reinforcing the idea of America as the protector for citizens who are being oppressed by their governments. But then he hardly referred to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia at all – and both countries have been jailing and torturing democracy supporters with depressing frequency. Obama didn't mention Yemen, either, even though Yemen's stubbornly murderous President Saleh has shot and killed numerous democracy protesters in the past few weeks and incarcerated many.

The absence of any serious mention of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain or Yemen begins to clear up a good deal of mystery surrounding these protests. Some countries are apparently to be destabilized by these Anglo-American inspired youth movements while others are not. It is apparently at least in part an effort to winnow out Middle East rulers that operate independently of power elite control.

In Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and Syria (and the Ivory Coast too), "strongmen" did the West's bidding on their own terms. That evidently wasn't good enough. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates are virtual proxies for the US. If the US ever withdrew its support for the Saudi regime, it would likely topple quickly. Not so in Libya or Syria. So the elite attacks. The Anglo-American power elite is centralizing world governance.

The Middle East, with its independent Islamic governments and unpredictable polices apparently needs to be more tightly controlled if true world government is to be initiated. Obama's speech is enlightening but not probably in the way he meant it. Like bin Laden's endless dying, the memes of the elite are increasingly obvious and unpersuasive. Anyone who studies them can start to predict them.

Assange for example. The increasingly wearisome Julian Assange – whom we believe is probably not what he seems – has released classified State Department files that show, according to the Washington Times, how "enhanced" interrogations of hundreds of captured operatives at secret overseas prisons and at the Cuban prison "amounted to one of the most successful intelligence operations in history." WikiLeaks has turned from a defender of the oppressed into a defender of oppression. Do we really need an "open source" news entity promoting torture?

The failure of 21st century memes to credibly impress is bound to have an increasing impact on the way the West (and the world) works over time. Way back when the Gutenberg Press was doing damage to establishment verities, the power elite apparently answered with a series of wars. It begins to look as if the Anglosphere elites are doing so again. The similarities around the world are startling, and this is how the Western elites work in my view. Events are replicated, nation-to-nation. Chaos is enhanced as a means of control.

In this case one of the weapons is so-called austerity. While the West – and the PIGS – are getting all the attention, "austerity" measures are jumping from country to country. Job cuts are taking place throughout South America and in Asia too. Food prices are going up and price inflation generally is becoming a problem. The results fan the flames of resentment and send people out into the street.

There is no doubt in my mind that the elites want a level of chaos. As the Internet exposes elite memes, the elites fight back by sowing confusion. Riots are part of the recipe, as are controllable wars – and even quasi-illusory enemies such as al Qaeda, which Obama also mentioned. Perhaps all this is leading up to the "big one" with Iran. In any event, military tensions with China and even Russia are to be encouraged. People are to be distracted from understanding the underlying causes of the Internet Reformation by sour economies, rising prices and an ever-morphing war on terror.

The trouble with this sort of activity is that truth and understanding can easily spiral oppressors plans out of control. Apparently it did so back during Gutenberg Press era when elite meddling spawned the Protestant Reformation, several revolutions and eventually the Age of Enlightenment. It is doing so today, in my view. The US is obviously uncomfortable with the continuance of the youth revolutions spawned in Egypt and Tunisia. These revolutions were supposed to be "over" by now. They were intended to lead to controllable regimes of one sort or another but have done no such thing as of yet. In fact, they have spread to allies that the West does not seem to want destabilized, such as Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is significant. If Saudi Arabia is undermined politically and militarily, so is the dollar reserve currency that serves as a lynchpin for the world's economy. We've suggested in the past that the elites want to destabilize the dollar in order to introduce a global currency, but not perhaps so fast or so soon. Yet, they may get their wish sooner than they think.

The elites in my view are losing control of the dominant social themes that they used so effectively in the 20th century. People are simply less apt to believe what they are being told. This can be seen in a number of venues and in a number of ways. Institutions that used to be respected are now less so. So-called social and historical truths are increasingly questioned. Unbrookable power is doubted. And the Internret Reformation has only just begun.

Having unleashed the revolutionary fervor of "youth," how exactly do the elites know where it will stop? There was just yesterday yet another demonstration in Saudi Arabia and President Saleh, America's man in Yemen is on his way out even though NATO and the West were apparently depending on him to promote the "war on terror" in his region. If these rolling revolutions reach and destabilize Saudi Arabia, the world will truly become a different place. Obama will even have a chance to give an original speech. He may not like it.

Sure, all the movements are spontaneous. If Bernays and the MSM could do this in 1954, just imagine how perfected their techniques are today!

Watch all the Bernays videos on You Tube, and then ask yourself if you have any thoughts/ideas that you actually created,or were they put there by outsiders.

There will be the Romania situation in 1990, after the so called "free-elections".
The PTB has very smart reacted , very smart. There will be not any kind of power swift , but only the same scam, and people will go home good ventilated .
This demonstrations are "spontan organized "only to quiet the masses. The stupid masses.

It is not B-water discovery, it is all more then 25 years ago used in all former East -European country, to be sure to avoid any "accident"that will lead upon the situation that the system former power will loose the grip on that country and there will be real change , with the back-up of former special servicies of USSR , Mossad( special forces they spek the language of that country) France (as today in Tunis, Libia and Syria) and of course Germany , all against real democracy and real changes . The power that be must be preserved with any costs and it is , as you can see.

Blackpower is just the top of the ice-berg is and is the newest in the family. All of them are illegal and financed with the money of the big banks !

What do you think of the so called "Spanish Revolution"?

I'll write my observations on that. As far as I know: A movement called "Democracia Real Ya" ("Real Democracy Now") organized demonstrations, via social networks, in Spain's major capitals on May 15th. Until then, they received no main stream media coverage.

Despite that, demonstrations were quite successful, bringing more than a hundred thousand altogether to the streets according to the organizers. After this, media suddenly turned their eye on them.

The next day, some initiated a camping in a Madrid centric square (Plaza del Sol), soon followed by another in Barcelona and then in many other cities.

This movement has been growing stronger, and the camping, although forbidden (presumably lawfully though this can be questioned) by the Junta Electoral Central (Central Electoral Office?), has not been dispersed by the police (today May 22nd there are local and regional elections). These protest campings (resembling Tahrir Square's, for example) have received ample media coverage.

Another thing I want to mention. May 15th's demonstrations ran on the motto "We are not goods in hands of bankers and politicians". One of the main reasons for the demonstration was to point the politicians' subjugation to bankers (or economic power in general), although there were messages against the crisis, its mismanagement, capitalism, etc.

In my opinion, media coverage on the demonstrations has focused on "indignation" for the current crisis, and has mainly silenced the criticism on said subjugation. This subjugation, by the way, is tremendously facilitated by the very opaque system by which political parties are financed. Adding to this that congressmen never break party discipline when voting, says it all about this subjugation.

After this: can the "Spanish Revolution" be compared to the arabs'? That would mean, then, power elite's promotion. I haven't noticed any, but I'm sure that if there is any, it will carefully disguised. However, the sudden media coverage is suspicious. Although it would be hard to ignore such a visible thing as occupying main squares in Spain's biggest capitals.

Maybe the movement is genuine and media have decided to transform it into a sort of "manufactured dissent" as Michel Chossudovsky says. They could be thinking "as long as the real root problems of our system are not pointed out (banking system and central banks), we will give them coverage and therefore divert the attention and the debate from them".

We are beginning to think that these youth revolutions are all controlled, or at least controllable. The elite must be in the process of shifting the Hegelian dialectic. It is moving the "goal-posts" back a long ways back because it has to. it may begin again with a dialogue that is realigned between free-markets and controlled markets. Much totalitarian progress that was gained has been lost?

How much influence is there from Dr Pieczenik talx? Dr was not talkin for himself. It was statement. His speaches,Dr's, has been well prepared. Every single word weighs. Behind Dr is team of senior vets from gov, military, inteligence. He is going straight to the points without detours. He is protected with immunity unseen on the land of the free. When he was attacked by Forbes he just reminded 'em their drug realated bussiness in the past. Watch this. Nobody is telling anythin. Dr explained why Tea Party was unseccefull and by his word there will be government of 3rd party, now uknown.

I was really waitin' on this Obama speech. I did wasted time to listen it, but reactions says it all. He talx as Dr said. We will C what is next. Immediatelly after Dr's talx there was civil case filled against Deutsche Bank, owned by famous Warburg family, co-founders of Federal Reserve, with their connection with mortgage boom/bust. They should explain somethin about buildin No7.

Since Dr's talx there was also shift in policy in Libya. Libya supposed to be bombed as was Serbia by Clinton. But Mr Barak somehow changed policy. And there are talx goin on with Taliban. We will C what's next from Dr's talx will B here.

Y'LL can never forget about plan of Zbiggy Brzezinski and his study of chess in his book The Grand Chessboard:

"How America 'manages' Eurasia is critical. A power that dominates Eurasia would control two of the world's three most advanced and economically productive regions. A mere glance at the map also suggests that control over Eurasia would almost automatically entail Africa's subordination, rendering the Western Hemisphere and Oceania geopolitically peripheral to the world's central continent. About 75 per cent of the world's people live in Eurasia, and most of the world's physical wealth is there as well, both in its enterprises and underneath its soil. Eurasia accounts for about three-fourths of the world's known energy resources." (p.31)

"To put it in a terminology that harkens back to the more brutal age of ancient empires, the three grand imperatives of imperial geostrategy are to prevent collusion and maintain security dependence among the vassals, to keep tributaries pliant and protected, and to keep the barbarians from coming together." (p.40)

This is KEY phrase of the game:

"That puts a premium on maneuver and manipulation in order to prevent the emergence of a hostile coalition that could eventually seek to challenge America's primacy." (p. 198)

Anytime Y'LL folx think or write somethin, Y'LL must consider how much energy for Anglo-American establishment put into air to create this empire. From French revolution- to get into alliance with France. England controled high seas, but has not enough manpower to get on european soil. It worked and Napoleon went into Russia. Waterloo was false flag and it was just bail out, after bankers wanted back money invested into Napoleon, one of the highest freemasons in his time, who gets into order in Cairo.

To fill rule divide and rule they created WW1,as by product they get into debt USA thru Federal Reserve which were main well of money for war.

At the end of WW1 there was some strugles in project. German revolution 1919 and Bavarian Soviet Republic. Germans understood that unification of Germany was scheme and they knew who was behind war. They tried to split Germany B4 unification. Just military power broke em down. And aristocratic Thule Society created German Labor Party. No, it is not joke folx. NSDAP was created by rich. It was ponzi scheme on working class. And while during German Revolution 1919 jews and geramans cooperated, Eisner, Rosa Luxemburg, Liebknecht were jews, so NSDAP made sure to put each other into throat.

Reichstag fire was executed by founder of Thule Society Rudolf von Sebotendorf as Sefik Husnu. They turned it against communist party. The same party which execute couple aristocrats during 1919 event and were fighting against WW1. Make sure pay attention that German socialists and communists did not identify themselfs and their program with bolsheviks in Russia which were just commando of Wall Street. C Sutton: Wall Street and bolshevik revolution. But Germany broke. They made their own currency and it was too close to center of interest of Anglo-Dutch banking cartel. Until nazi had been supported to go againsta Stalin, since Stalin kicked of Trotsky and did not cooperated with bankers, but after own currency issue they started support Stalin to broke down Germany. It took em 10 years to broke Germany down. As soon as someone touchin money changers bussines, his days are counted. But.

Things did not go as neocon gang expected. Iraq was planed for 4 months and 4horsemen supposed 2 pay expenses. Afghanistan worx to producing kox, but is not under control at all to build pipeline. It needs more resources to get it under control.

Well preplaned operations in USA, by cancelin' Glass-Steagall act, and in Europe to lend money to PIGS to fake their economies outlook shows on light. We C it as well as Island, where most of missing money were taken by banksters back to London.

So this kind of investment by Anglo-American Establishment is not going to disapear as vapor. They R gonna fight to the last blood. Creating police state, surveilance and concentration camps is just reality.

As am sayin 4 10 years. There is only one power on The world to stop what is going on right now on the world: US military.

Is Dr Pieczenik this start??? W'LL C.

Interesting and thought-provoking. The idea that the US military someone opposes what is going on is most questionable however.

According to the Washington Times? Your suspicions regarding Assange may be justified. But, respectfully, it's a bit of a leap from the Times' interpretation of documents leaked by WikiLeaks to an "open source" news entity promoting torture.

When Obama was a candidate his speeches were all the rage. It's not the same now we know he is lying.

Secret Desert Force Set Up by Blackwater's Founder

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Late one night last November, a plane carrying dozens of Colombian men touched down in this glittering seaside capital. Whisked through customs by an Emirati intelligence officer, the group boarded an unmarked bus and drove roughly 20 miles to a windswept military complex in the desert sand.

"The Middle East, with its independent Islamic governments and unpredictable polices apparently needs to be more tightly controlled if true world government is to be initiated."

I would replace "initiated" with "achieved." It was initiated certainly by 1948, likely before that.

"Assange for example."

What happened to those bank emails? Did I miss some news?

"Do we really need an "open source" news entity promoting torture?"

No, "we" don't, if by "we" you mean normal human beings. But somebody does likely "need" this. I wonder who that might be.

"We've suggested in the past that the elites want to destabilize the dollar in order to introduce a global currency, but not perhaps so fast or so soon."

Bear with me on this one: Imagine that this idea of a global currency itself is a meme, the purpose of the story being to distract us from the fact that the dollar was becoming the global currency in any case, without us even paying much attention. In other words, they "introduced" the global currency 70 years ago, and have been building it up since, well until 2007/2008, when they lost control.

So the destruction of the dollar is a big problem, as now the elite have to start from scratch with a different and new idea for "world currency". They had 70 years (if you start from Bretton Woods) building their world currency (being the USD), and now have lost it. They are starting over.

Take another angle: There are too many vested interests desiring multiple and differing currencies to exist. Groups from politicians to currency traders all benefit from having unique and a multitude of currencies. People make billions if not trillions of dollars simply by having different currencies to trade and control.

The elite work through dominant social themes. How will they convince these independent actors to give up this lucrative trade. Frankly, even for the elite, the fact that there are different currencies offers opportunities for wealth transfer (although this is secondary to my point).

In any case, enough on that for now.

"Having unleashed the revolutionary fervor of "youth," how exactly do the elites know where it will stop?"

They don't, but as DB has suggested before, perhaps the elite win either way. Either friendlier governments or new enemy governments. Both serve the purpose, it seems.

'The meme of protecting Israel from the Arab world"? Did the writer hear about the decades of America protecting Europe from the Communist rule? The difference is the Arab world attacked Israel and was badly beaten in the 1967 War.

Israel gave back land to the Arab world keeping that land to adequately defend herself; what was the Jews right to keep what was historrically hers proven not only by history books and yes other evidence.

Let all other countries who took land prove their borders. There have been other peace accords which were richly rewarded by money from the USA, but the Arab world broke and would have no part of and have sent rockets and death squads into Israel.

What nation would tolerate what Israel had to endure. This is not about land but a hate to eradicate Israel and this people. Obama committed a major blunder. Can any one doubt where his sympathy lies and it is certainly not with Christians nor Israel.

I agree with the Daily Telegraph in the particulars. However in my opinion, these are manifestations of the overall struggle to retain the central banking system.

I don't doubt that there are conspiracies afoot in the subplots. I only maintain that the overall effort to save central bank currency is a reaction on the part of the PE, not a deliberate plot.

Therein lies the crux of the matter. The PE does not need to destabilize the dollar. Instability of the post-1971 dollar is a phenomenon which is built into this "faith-based" currency. However, it takes about 20 to 30 years before the instability of the currency manifests itself. By then, it is too late to secure its survival.

What we are witnessing is the desperate struggle to shore up the diminishing faith in a "faith-based" dollar currency to gain time until another monetary scheme can be implemented.

The explanation for the turmoil in the Middle East is as simple as that. To blame the turmoil on a deliberate conspiracy seems to me a little far fetched.

Egypt protests: America's secret backing for rebel leaders behind uprising
The American government secretly backed leading figures behind the Egyptian uprising who have been planning “regime change” for the past three years, The Daily Telegraph has learned.

By Tim Ross, Matthew Moore and Steven Swinford 9:23PM GMT 28 Jan 2011

The American Embassy in Cairo helped a young dissident attend a US-sponsored summit for activists in New York, while working to keep his identity secret from Egyptian state police.

On his return to Cairo in December 2008, the activist told US diplomats that an alliance of opposition groups had drawn up a plan to overthrow President Hosni Mubarak and install a democratic government in 2011.

He has already been arrested by Egyptian security in connection with the demonstrations and his identity is being protected by The Daily Telegraph.

The crisis in Egypt follows the toppling of Tunisian president Zine al-Abedine Ben Ali, who fled the country after widespread protests forced him from office.

The disclosures, contained in previously secret US diplomatic dispatches released by the WikiLeaks website, show American officials pressed the Egyptian government to release other dissidents who had been detained by the police.

Mr Mubarak, facing the biggest challenge to his authority in his 31 years in power, ordered the army on to the streets of Cairo yesterday as rioting erupted across Egypt.

DB: "In fact, they have spread to allies that the West does not seem to want destabilized, such as Bahrain and Saudi Arabia."

This is because actions have consequences and truth, just as insanity is contagious. Sane people do not fight and dispute who their slaver is, but the fact that they are enslaved.

The psychiatric "profession" is extremely dangerous because they are in strategic denial of two crucial facts of life, they are BELIEVED and, more dangerously, also believed by the law, their symbiotic partners in crime:

1) Life and human behavior is about goal seeking and survival. There are only three ways to seek goals: force / fraud (causes defensive conflict from victims) and honest, mutually agreed trade (peace and civilization). Instead, the shrinks opine a bunch of crap and ill defined, subjective adjectives regarding our fixed nature and how we have no choice, but to follow whatever they deem our nature to be.

2) We live in an action precedes consequence reality. We must adapt to the actions of the insane in our environment, sometimes, to uninformed observers this makes our actions appear insane. The law also misrepresents our defense as offense, casting us as insane (such as "terrorists"). Insanity is therefore CONTAGIOUS. Now, the people have caught this social disease and are in a position of "cognitive dissonance", unable to correctly choose, wedged between the insane demands of power and, demands of survival.

Centrally controlled MSM was the injector of the insane social disease that war against those "not like us" as opposed to cooperation for mutual self interest is "necessary".

The internet is spreading the sane truth that those alleged to be "not like us" are, in actual fact us (Pogo, "I have seen the enemy") and that war against them is, in actual fact, crimes against peace, humanity and civilization, as are the actions of ANYONE who initiates aggression under any pretext.

Now, it is not good for the Christian's health to hustle the Aryan brown,

For the Christian riles, and the Aryan smiles, and he weareth the Christian down;

And the end of the fight is a tombstone white, with the name of the late deceased,

And the epitaph drear: 'A fool lies here who tried to hustle the East.'
