Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations (CoP)
The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, the CoP for short, or referenced as the Presidents' Conference, was organized under President Eisenhower in 1956. Its primary objective was to bring together Jewish thought and express these thoughts in one voice.
The effort is to find a consensus within all of these Jewish organizations and present a unified policy recommendation to the executive branch of the United States government. They do not lobby. Their sole effort is to promote positive Israeli views to the president. The CoP is comprised of 52 separate Jewish organizations. They meet sporadically, with the last meeting taking place on May 2, 2011.
In these meetings, Jewish thinking from the more liberal to the more conservative factions of all individual organizations is put forth in order to come to that necessary consensus. Eisenhower was tired of polling so many different Jewish organizations and felt that the CoP was the answer to this cumbersome process. Eisenhower recognized the growing importance of the Jewish community in political and economic affairs.
Their prime focus is on the State of Israel and its relations with the United States. They are focused particularly on those issues that have a direct impact on the American Jewish community. Their goal is to strengthen relations between the United States and Israel. They are very concerned with the security of Jews around the world.
The CoP is a strong political force. It projects a system of values and shows the world that peaceful unification is possible. It has worked diligently to create "one voice" from many divergent opinions within the Jewish population, which practically defines peaceful unification. The problem of the CoP is of course the larger problem of the Jewish State itself. Investigate the antecedents and all the predictable players immediately offered themselves up, including most prominently the Rothschilds. This most prominent and impossibly wealthy banking family was basically responsible for the creation of Israel.
But not only was the creation of Israel the provenance of one family, the Rothschilds have also paid for Israel's Knesset and Supreme Court building with all its outrageous Illuminati symbolism. It is very hard to avoid the conclusion that Israel is encumbered with power-elite designs that far exceed the normal aspirations of nation-building.
More discouraging than this is the way Jews have been chased into Israel through various fear-based tactics going back well over 100 years. The founders of a putative Israel admitted in writing that they were going to scare Jews into Israel by manipulating various kinds of putsches and other anti-Jewish events around the world. It is certainly true that the Holocaust itself, however terrible it was, has been used by world Jewry as a way to induce yet more Jews to emigrate to Israel and to silence dissent about Jewish actions in Israel. The "Jewish problem" is a difficult one and creating a modern artificial state has only aggravated an already contentious debate.
