Turning Points of Empire's End?
It was all over the news yesterday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff had paid an unannounced visit to top Pakistani leaders. As the DB reported in an editor's note, Clinton made a fairly startling statement once she was there. "There is no evidence senior people in Pakistan knew that Osama bin Laden lived so close to Islamabad," she said.
This caught my attention. We try to look for moments when the dominant social themes of the elite reach critical points. We identified one as regards the Federal Reserve well over a year ago. We announced the Fed was in deep trouble politically and from a public relations standpoint we were right.
In this case, I don't even have to make a statement. Hillary did it for me. She was quoted as saying that Pakistan-US relations had reached a "turning point." She said it several times. In this editorial I want to examine that turning point – because it really is historical – and try to explain what Hillary meant by it.
There are actually at least two "turning points" involved. Ms. Clinton won't explain it of course. She'll leave it up to others to explain. And the mainstream media has immediately plunged in to explain that one (obvious) "turning point" has to do with the amount of cooperation that Pakistan's leaders are going to show American ones. Nothing of course could be further from the truth. If the mainstream media is analyzing it, you can be sure of a misdiagnosis.
So what is the reality? Well the smaller reality as we have written many times is that the Anglosphere elite has been losing the Afghan war for a number of years and that is gradually percolating through to the larger Western public. This is terribly distressing to the power elite, which is having horrible trouble controlling its sub dominant social themes. In this case, Hillary desperately needs the Pakistani leaders to continue to help with the overall cover up regarding the war and bin Laden's probably phony death.
In fact, it is all growing more and more complicated. You see, bin Laden probably didn't die on May 1, 2011. He may have been dead for a decade now. Ten years ago his kidneys had apparently failed. He had Marfan's disease, which ruins internal organs. Pakistan's Benazir Bhutto said bin Laden was murdered in 2003 – she told that to David Frost before she was assassinated. Others have said bin Laden died peacefully in a French hospital early in the 2000s and that his remains had been put "on ice" for several years.
The whole story of bin Laden's final decade "on the run" doesn't even begin to make sense. After his "death," his body is dumped into the sea. Photos are not released. The SEALS are not identified. Instead, we get first hand reports from Pakistan that contradict the entire narrative constructed by the US (not that it was a coherent one to begin with).
What about Occam's Razor? The simplest explanation is the easiest. ("One should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything." – Principia Cybernetica) But this is not the explanation we are treated to. Clinton travels to Pakistan and announces that "conspiracy theories" are not helpful in furthering the relationships of Pakistan and the US at a critical juncture. Here is the nub of it: If Pakistan's leaders DO NOT ask the questions we have asked (and they have not, certainly not publicly) then they would seem to be complicit in a vast coverup. No wonder they are resentful.
But this is what happens when the state's lies get bigger. The truth about 9/11 – whatever it is – still has not been told. The FBI still has not investigated. The Pentagon and CIA still have not explained numerous anomalous issues. And the result, ten years later, is not only more problems with the "official" story, but also an evident and obvious whopper about bin Laden. That no one asks the obvious questions does not mean that the official story is believable; it just means that everyone is very afraid to question it. Imagine the fear at the top levels of Western government.
Bin Laden's supposed death is tied into the unfortunate reality that the US (and NATO) is losing the Afghan war. The Afghan war is a critical power elite meme. The US needs Pakistan to attack the Pashtun/Taliban. If they do not, the war is likely lost. Enter bin Laden and his "death." Whatever else it may be, it was likely supposed to shove Pakistan into an aggressive posture against the Pashtun/Taliban.
With bin Laden's "death" there were few rhetorical alternatives. Either Pakistan's leaders had been terribly incompetent in letting the terror master live in Pakistan for years or the military had been horribly incompetent – or perhaps both. Either way, the Pakistanis had much to apologize for. And the biggest way for Pakistan to atone was to attack, the Taliban. For a while, it must have seemed like a stroke of genius.
And yet ... something went horribly WRONG. The result in this increasingly multi-polar world was only to push the Pakistanis into the waiting embrace of China. That's right. The Pakistanis began to talk to China right away, and Chinese officials began to make soothing noises about stepping into the power vacuum that the US was deliberately creating.
It soon became apparent to those at Foggy Bottom that maybe a mistake had been made. First top Senator John Kerry was dispatched to Pakistan to explain that US diplomats didn't really mean all those nasty things. Did that work? Well ... not if Hillary had to fly all the way across the Atlantic for a two-hour meeting and photo session!
As long as I am mentioning it, let me again point out that the behavior of the world's leaders at this point is no different than that of say ... the Mafia's. Phones and the Internet are so distrusted at this point that they have to get together at different venues – on a biweekly basis it seems – to plot their mischief. These get-togethers are called "summits." But they are merely ways of avoiding the wiretaps that the world's Big 8 dish out so generously to others. Proof? Ms. Clinton had something important to say the Pakistan leaders and she and her entourage traveled all the Islamabad to deliver it.
It is said that Ms. Clinton looked "grim" in Pakistan as she explained that Pakistan's leaders obviously did NOT know about bin Laden. We're not surprised; it is yet another defeat among many. With its themes crumbling about it, Money Power has turned to a last failing defense ... organized violence. And Clinton's climb-down has to do with a second and larger turning point.
The City of London (where this mischief seems to begin) has a big problem. Once you have fallen back on the immoveable rigor of brute force you have to make sure that people understand that you will not back down. Not now. Not ever. If people cannot be frightened into supporting one-world-government (the point of it all) by fear-based memes, then they must be panicked into supporting it via military power. They must be made to feel that they have no other choice.
But what if the biggest war, the hinge war – the most important war of the past 100 years – is also the war that you are evidently and obviously LOSING? What then? Well, if you are the top honcho of the Pentagon or Hillary Clinton, you will do ANYTHING to make sure your pending defeat does not become common knowledge and tabloid fodder.
No, you cannot admit it! No how, no way! It will lead to a chain reaction, or so you fear. If people begin to understand that the entire Western world HAS LOST ITS MOST IMPORTANT WAR TO A BUNCH OF GOAT-HERDERS AND POPPY GROWERS ... what then?
What about the 60 percent tax rates? What about the central banks and their inflationary depressions? What about the endless spew of regulations that need to be enforced. What about the useless, murderous war on the drugs? What about the constantly climbing ratio of criminals to "good guys" (those too intimidated to object). What about the CIA and FBI offices around the world? What about rapid reaction strike forces that are supposed to be invincible. Get the picture?
Money Power depends on the myth of infallibility buttressed by an overwhelming sense of fear. In the 20th century, this worked well. The entire mechanism of global government was put in place and people didn't object. In fact, many welcomed it. But today is another story. With the failure of its many memes (thanks in part to the Internet Reformation in my view), the power elite turned increasingly to violence – as they always do. But what if violence doesn't work either? What then?
This is the LARGER "turning point" that Hillary is talking about. THE END OF EMPIRE. If the five or so top Punjabi families do not rout out the Pashtun/Taliban, the Afghan war is indeed lost. And if the war is lost, then 10-20 percent of the world's population once again (as the Brits tried this 150 years ago) escapes the trap of the New World Order. Afghan is that critical. (In fact, I've have been told that the Koran mentions the Pashtuns are the "hinge" of the world and that the world – and its end – depends on them.)
Or course, this is not an analysis you're going to read about in any mainstream publication. It is funny in a sad way. "For reconciliation to succeed, Pakistan must be part of [the larger] process," Ms. Clinton said. But Pakistan will NOT be part of the larger process. It cannot be for reasons we have already explained in various DB articles. The wealthy Punjabi families need an independent Afghanistan if they are to retain their leverage in the area. It is a measure of the bankruptcy of US policy in the area, that the Western elites continue to demand of Pakistani leaders something they obviously cannot provide.
Losing the Afghan war as they are, I believe the elites are expanding hostilities elsewhere to cause maximum chaos as they try to keep up momentum for world government. But Afghanistan is the critical hinge. And it is at a "turning point." You can read more on this issue here: Bin Laden Episode End of Empire?

Well, Thank You for taking my comments in the spirit that I intended them.
So many act as though I'm attacking their mother and sister!
Now I have a surprise for you!
I'm not entirely unfamilar with Scripture!
Perhaps that's your way of interpreting Rising Consciousness (I actually dislike theis label) is through Scripture. That's OK with me. I don't care how you get there. I only care that you do.
And you are exactly right about the "real message". We all need to stop listening to Man (and that includes all his created institutions) because there is always an agenda.
This may say it best.
"Ye are of the devil, as your father, and ye desire to do the lusts of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks falsehood, he speaks of what is his own; for he is a liar and its father:"
Consequently, we have this remarkable ability to twist or rationalize anything that serves our purpose, usually much to the detriment of some else.
Even many that think they are "Doing Good" are in error.
"And Jesus said to him, Why callest thou me good? None is good but one, that is God."
And the possible reasion that Mankind seems to be stuck on stupid!
"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God."
But enough of Scripture, for I have to protect my reputation as being an uncaring, barbarous, Barbarian. Useful device because it keeps many of the fools away from me!
Remember, be in the world, but not of it!
Or, to put in the words of an old Black friend of mine, Never let them see your best game! Lot of wisdom in that old Southern Baptist.

However, I still have an issue with this idea that faith will be given to all and think that the verse you quoted in Corinthians may be somewhat out of context. I would refer to John 6:44 - "No-one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" and again in John 6:65 ..."this is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father"
Faith will not be given to all, if it were there would be no reason to document the horrors of hell which, if you believe the bible, are an absolute reality.
Tough one to accept since some are obviously heaven bound and some hell bound.
Thanks for replying.
When it appears that there is a conflict in the words of God given to us then it is certain that our vision is too narrow and we do not have un understanding of the Truth which encompasses the whole counsel of God. This throws our natural mind into crisis (Greek Krisis:judgement) and breaks down the idols of our hearts, the false ideas we have about God. If you have indeed been chosen for this then our Father will persevere until you see the Kingdom and the King more clearly.
Read some of my posts on the Berean website that I linked for you and the other teachings I mention there.

Who is the accuser of the brethren? Who is the father of lies? What did the Lord mean when He said that as you measure it shall meted unto you? What did He mean when He said that as you judge so shall you be judged?
I was glad to hear that this teaching blows you away. That is the sound of the Holy Spirit blowing up years of encrustations of the carnal traditions of men.
Now, to the question at hand as to whether faith will be given to all in the coming age:
1 Corinthians 15:22-28 "For just as in Adam ALL die, so also in Christ ALL will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to him. Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he has brought to an end ALL rule and ALL authority and power. For he must reign until he has put ALL his enemies under his feet (who are His enemies?). The last enemy to be eliminated is death. For he has put EVERYTHING in subjection under his feet. But when it says 'everything' has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the one who put everything in subjection to him. 1And when ALL things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the one who subjected everything to him, so that God may be ALL IN ALL."
There are many more scriptures addressing this subject but suffice to say that it is well supported and was taught by the apostles.
If you visit the website of the Berean Group you will find there discussions about these things that involve many believers from around the world of no particular denomination. There is no "ism" involved just those who are following on to know the Lord and who love the Truth. Here is the link:

Jesus was the very first perfect Man made in God's image and He reveals the Father to us in His nature, character and the power of His love. He was crucified by those He came to but he rose from the dead and after forty days of revealing Himself to His disciples He ascended back into the dimension of reality whence He had come that we call Heaven. He then sent His Spirit to anoint those disciples waiting for the promise and they also entered the Kingdom of God by being born from above. This is the way the Kingdom has grown over the past two thousand years, one man or woman at a time receiving the Spirit of the risen and ascended Lord Jesus Christ and being born from above. The process of changing the natural mind for the spiritual mind under the tutelage of the Spirit of Christ then begins and one ascends gradually into higher and higher realms of wisdom and understanding and is changed into the image of the Son of God.
This has taken place both inside and outside the institution we know as the Christian church in all its denominations. The only true Church is not found in buildings and organisations made by man. The Church is the people in whom God rules. This is the meaning of the Hebrew name Israel. It has nothing at all to do with the genealogy of flesh and blood. The scriptures make it quite clear that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. The Christian churches have been the cocoon if you will of the development of the true Church which itself has been the growth of the Kingdom of God during the past two thousand years. These churches are no longer being used by God for this purpose and the Kingdom of God is in transition into the next age of Man in which we shall see and experience a new dimension of the revelation of God to His creation.

Everybody seems to be claiming that they are a part of of Old Israel.
What's with that?
Why is this Meme so dominant in people's thought process?
Pleae don't tell me that it's because this meme was mothers milk, and because we all heard this stuff as little children, we believe that it's true, and repeat it ad nauseam to each new generation for all eternity!
We are all doomed if we can't get any further that this!
And then we have all the pontificating about "The Book".
These are fireside stories(legends) from prehistory, with absolutely no proof of being fact other than so many keep repeating them.
It's as if we are nothing more than talking parrots(monkeys), and we are proud of the fact that we can be taught to repeat anything verbatim.
Can't prove it, but damn, we can sure repeat it perfectly forever.
And stone, burn, drown, and torture all who won't believe.
Take that, you filthy non-believers you!
What's our objective here anyway? To go back to the primitive tribal ways,
or to become real individuals who can contribute to making the planet a little more like the paradise that most seem to believe they get only after they are dead, provided that they are Chosen! To hell with the rest of the population! I got mine!
To strut our ability to repeat unproveable gibberish, and attempt to destroy anyone who rejects our claims? Or to compare notes/experiences, and come up with something that actually works for all peoples, not just a bunch of egomanics who claim theat they are Chosen?
I use the reference Chosen because that's where most of this absurity starts. Chosen when, where, why and by who? And do more to prove it than repeat some book they had written in the first place sometime in the Dark Ages claiming that those who believe this book are Chosen!
Look at all the comments about genes, and everybody scrambling to "prove" tha they have a link to the Chosen from all this.
Well, 98-99% of our genes are shared with Chimpanzees.

Bet you won't see anyone claiming that linkage, because the only Chosen rights that will get you is playing Cheetah in a Tarzan movie.
We can really accomplish so much if we just drop all this stupid baggage, and get real about life.

For all I know, the Pashtun were descendents of Israel who were so unhappy living in Nineveh they took off for the hills. They are no different in essence from Confederates migrating to Montana or formerly Jewish conversos migrating to Northern Mexico.
However, I sense the highest priority is the examination of belief systems and their premises and whom these systems serve and how. We really do not have that much time on these side issues of whether or not someone had Jewish or any other background 40 generations ago.
We need to find ways to survive intact through the next generation because the stakes are really that high. Also, I would like for us to come out of this as winners.

Can it just be the result of 1--cross-cultural interactions (oriental martial arts now in practice worldwide) or 2--independent development?
Shamanism is also practiced worldwide. There may be a common origin for this type of healing out of Africa and as people dispersed, they implemented the principles to fit their particular environments. This does not make everyone an African, as being Pashtun implies being Jewish.
A genetic map does NOT indicate an individual's or group's belief system.
Let's leave the Jews alone and instead address the underlying issues that apply to all of us as individuals.

Wayne,
hit a raw nerve, I wonder why? I don't want anyone to 'be my slave' but you can take the floor for the rest of the stream.
You have failed to offer any relevant points with regards to the specific theory I've put forward. You insist on focusing on issues that have no relevance to the specific issue at hand.
You insist on the similarities between Pakistan and Israel in their formation/foundation - your view is technical, one-sided and misses the all important reasons why, how (method of transfer not who made the transfer) and on what land.
You can take charge of the stream now, don't worry.
No story or excuse can justify stealing peoples and then forcing an alien cultural/legal system on them.
All the theorizing and rationalizing is just a pathetic attempt to justify unforgiveable criminal activities.

"faith will be given to all" This isn't the gospel David - this sounds like universalism - where does it say in the Bible that faith will be given to all? "And all except a few will enter into the Kingdom" - this is just not true! John 6:65 And he said, 'This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless ir is granted him by the Father."
'Faith will be given to all' - wow, that blows me away. We are called, but clearly not all are called, there are many who will experience hell and there are many who will experience heaven. Faith will not be given to all, faith is a part of the life of those who have received and responded to the calling of the Father.
Good grief - faith will be given to all - what an abomination of a lie!
Who is the accuser of the brethren? Who is the father of lies? What did the Lord mean when He said that as you measure it shall meted unto you? What did He mean when He said that as you judge so shall you be judged?

Living without the bonds of TV affords me the luxury of having time to read. As my third book this month, I happened to pick the Leon Uris novel, QB VII (1972), when there was still something to be proud about in America, and when there were still enough people around who could remember the horrors of WWII.
The story takes place in post-WWII England, and is about a libel suit brought by a Polish Nationalist doctor (Kelno), a former POW in Jadwiga concentration camp, against a Jewish-American author (Cady) who names him as performing surgeries for German doctors who were experimenting on Jewish prisoners.
This is part of the opening statement made by the defense attorney (for Cady) in the British courtroom:
'Well, as a matter of fact there were some Germans, soldiers, officers, priests, doctors, and ordinary civilians who refused to obey these orders and said, 'I am not going to do this because I would not like to live and have this on my conscience. I'm not going to push them into gas chambers, and then say later I was under orders and justify it by saying that they were going to be pushed in by someone anyhow and I can't stop it and other people will push them more cruelly. Therefore, it's in their best interest that I shove them in gently.' You see, the trouble was, not enough of these people refused.'
When my tears subsided I thought, what an amazing time to be reading this. How appropriate to what is happening in our country now.
Day after day we see headlines about the indignities suffered by air travelers at the hands of TSA agents who are content to place their hands on the genitals of passengers of no matter what ages for their daily ration of bread (read: HFCS, MSG, GMO, etc.). And still the passengers line up for the privilege of being 'man-handled' so that they can get to grandma's house or their next business meeting a little faster instead of saying, 'I am a free American and you may NOT touch me without cause,' or even, 'I will not ride your airplane if I must be accosted so.' (p. 2950
Day after day we see headlines about some police officer tazering an elderly citizen for asking a question, or throwing the occupant of a wheelchair to the ground to prove that he is handicapped… or killing a veteran for having a gun in his own home. And still we say, 'Yes, sir' to the police and skulk away in fear, instead of saying, 'Don't do that to this person!'
Day after day we see headlines about what a potential criminal/terrorist - someone to be suspected regardless of their actions - is the person who cites the U.S. Constitution to affirm their rights, or likes a certain political candidate, or has served his or her country in the military, or just wants to be left alone by 'the system', or has the audacity to disagree with the current administration - or who asks for acknowledgement of the truth instead of ridicule on a point of fact. And still we say, 'Thank goodness you're taking care of my safety and security, because I don't want to get my hands dirty,' instead of saying, 'I have a right to my opinion, to think my own thoughts.'
Day after day we see headlines about the millions cheated out of their homes, loosing their jobs, forced to beg the government for poisoned food that will make their children imbeciles compared to who they could have been so that those who control the money can amass more and more for themselves, reaching orgasm at the thought of how much they have attained and how they can hold the 'cattle' as slaves. And still we say, 'Thank you for the job as a hamburger flipper so that I can pay you most of my wages in taxes,' instead of saying, 'I will take care of my money myself.'
Stand up. Don't let them grope you. Don't let them go through your car at a warrant-less checkpoint. Don't let them search your home without cause or due process. Don't let them control your money. TPTB's (The Powers That Be) philosophy is, if you don't complain, nothing is wrong. Start complaining. Start deciding that you won't allow yourself - or others - to be treated this way.
We are at the proverbial 'slippery slope'. From here it will be easy to fall into the same state as was controlled by the German nazis. The slogan of the time was, 'Never Forget!' But TPTB are doing everything possible - dumbing us down, directing thought - to make us forget so that they can use the same tactics unencumbered by the ghosts of the slaughtered. Don't allow us and our children to be next. Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. Just make sure the history you remember is the truth.
Aldus Huxley is quoted as saying (paraphrased) that the ideal situation is one in which the slave is contented with his enslavement. You are an accomplice to your own enslavement. Stop being contented. Stop rationalizing your own enslavement as the best you can hope for.
TPTB know that if you don't resist, you are theirs to exploit in any way they see fit. Stop complying. Imagine what would happen to TPTB if we all just said, 'hell, no' - no matter how gently they grab our balls.
Through our website, Click to view link, we talk to far too many docile, I-have-a-million-reasons-not-to-take-action kind of people. The time to stand up is now, not as they close the gas chamber door behind you. No football game, airline flight, bus trip, concert, prom, no job, no social group is worth your human dignity - nor your freedom. Spread the word that we are enslaved by our own volition - and that it doesn't have to be so. Stop complying now with that which is, at it essence, wrong. There is no excuse.
' …You see, the trouble was, not enough of these people refused.'

I am puzzled why you appear to be apoplectic and dismissive of the ideas I put forward. Perhaps you could quickly summarise the thesis of the authors of "In Search of the Cradle of Civilisation" so that we can all benefit from your knowledge. My intuition tells me that they believe that the peoples of Europe actually originated in India and spread out over the areas populated by the DNA Haplogroup R, since the other link you provided references DNA Haplogroup R.
For my own part I have surmised that this DNA Haplogroup confirms that the descendants of the Israelites spread out over Europe from their early settlements between the Caspian and Euxine (Black) Seas. My own country of Scotland has an especially concentrated proportion of this DNA and it is recorded in the 14th. century Declaration of Arbroath that the Scots are descended from the Scythians who were know to the Greeks as the Skuths whose ancestors were the self same Israelites of the Northern Kingdom. It is also found in high proportions in North America. This is supported by certain promises given by God first to the sons of Noah (that Japheth would dwell in the tents of Shem) and then to the people of the Northern Kingdom that they would multiply exceedingly and spread over the Earth. The Jewish historian Josephus makes reference to this in his writings.
Here is a link to a map of the Parthian Empire: Click to view link
As you can see in the Northeast of India are the Saka tribes. This is the name given to the dispersed Israelites by the Babylonians, who conquered the Assyrian Empire in the 7th. century BC. This name is also found in the name Saxon which was the Roman name for the same peoples. The name Saka is derived from the ancestor of Israel, Isaac.
The Assyrians called them bit Ghomri, the house of Ghomri after the Israelite king Omri. They have been mistaken in some accounts for the descendants of Gomer , one of the sons of Japheth. However the Ghomri also became the Cimri and Cimmerians, from whom in Britain we see the vestiges of the name in the Welsh name of Cymru for Wales and Cumbria for the northwest of England.
Very little of what I have written here is generally taught in the West so it is not "traditional" knowledge but it was more generally known by 19th. century scholars before the advent of politically correct history.

Both were a creation of a foreign colony in an existing country using the force of a UN decree to acomplish this.
What is the difference bwtween putting European origin "Jews" into a Semitic area, and putting Muslims into a Hindu area?
Sounds like forced busing, or Social Engineering to me!
And just what power wielding psychotic gets to makes these decisions?
And on what basis?
Lets stop pretending that all these religious stories are facts!
They are just stories, having no more truth to them than Santa Klus, or the Tooth Fairy. Charming at times, and useful for contolling/entertaining children, but not a rational basis for wars, and arguments, never mind social engineering. One's personal beliefs are their property, but they have no truth or authority over any else, unless you want to admit that you think every one else should be your slave, and follow your dicates like some kind of Egyptian Pharoh, Hitler,Stalin ,Mao, etc.
Wayne,
hit a raw nerve, I wonder why? I don't want anyone to 'be my slave' but you can take the floor for the rest of the stream.
You have failed to offer any relevant points with regards to the specific theory I've put forward. You insist on focusing on issues that have no relevance to the specific issue at hand.
You insist on the similarities between Pakistan and Israel in their formation/foundation - your view is technical, one-sided and misses the all important reasons why, how (method of transfer not who made the transfer) and on what land.
You can take charge of the stream now, don't worry.
Reply from The Daily Bell
Why is it such an issue? Summer is clearly speculating and has not made any anti-semitic comments ...

Absolutely not the same as Israel vis a vis formation of Pakistan!

Ironically, Disney made many educational cartoons and other movies in his lifetime. He did a superb animation on differential calculus I remember watching and it would have helped many to understand the subject better.
However, I was one kid who thought that reality had a lot of excitement on its own and would keep me occupied for life. Science and history were much more fascinating than Superman. Only later did I gain an appreciation of fairy tales and myths as describing psychological processes and archetypes, enabling me to attempt to make some contribution on this august website.
That put me at odds with America at a very early age; I did not realize it then.
What you have described is nothing more than Stalinism Lite (a depiction courtesy of Fred "On Everything" Reed). I was listening to the story of Shostakovich's 7th symphony on the radio while driving and was struck by how similar his problems with the regime were compared with my experiences with individual Americans every day.
Why do you think I write this stuff on The Bell? Getting rid of certain personalities is a waste of time whereas getting rid of certain attitudes will produce the change we desire.
It has come down to the point where you have a choice: either live with yourself or live in America.
As to age, most of my library contains book written prior to 1910, so my reference points are alien in this time of mass communication-MSM!
In fact, my best teachers were dead before 1940!
That's why I love cycle research. That assists in keeping one's pychological balance when the herd is going insane. Classical man was not as subject to the extremes as modern man is.
Fred and I are in complete agreement on the current state of affairs.
Though I would suggest that you familiarize yourself with the commentaries
of the late Col. Jeff Cooper to really understand where this society (herd) is heading.

And don't fail to read "War Is A Racket"

You mentioned archetypes.
A very important concept.
I developed the Disney theme because of this. The rise of Disney as a cultural force was the first indication of the power of the tube to create a binding pychogical force. Douglas Adams made this very point in his classic, "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy".
Consider it the birth of the Superherd(group!
This was carefully engineered by the formula developed by Edward Bernays.
Consider the possibility that your thoughts, likes, and dislikes are Bernays created inserts/downloads into your brian via the MSM.
Another possibility to consider. Behind all this conflict in the Middle East is a simple concept. Zionism. And what is Zionism? A movement dedicated to establishing a Theocracy to usher in the arrival/return of the Messiah!
Sarah Palin is an obvious example of this theme.
Her constant mantra that "Americans are a people of Expectionalism" is the sign of the Messianic movement. BTW, the great majority of Zionists are not Jewish, but Christians. If you ignore the fact that the Christian Cult were Jewish, this won't make sense to you. Adding to the confusion is the joke that the Christians claimed that the Messisah had come, but now want him to return again! This aligns them with the extreme Jewish group who are still waiting for the Messiah to come.
It's not my purpose to redicule or denigrate anyone's beliefs here, but to explain the problem. Personally, I think that this problem is why we invented Scotch!
As to your question about your writing here, I don't think you realize how many "Americans" are actually as free as the Afghan tribes.
In the mountains where I live, there are quite a few highly independant people. Fred Reed could tell you about many that are still in West Virginia.
Same for the Tennesse Mountains. Peter Ragnar is an example.

Now when you get to the larger population centers, Cognitive dissonance severely restricts rational thinking! Go along, Get along is their mantra!
