Halliburton Company

Halliburton Company is a major player in the oil industry, impacting oils services of every type and dimension. The company's impact and influence is worldwide, with headquarters established in Houston, Texas, USA and Dubai, UAE. Halliburton's braintrust looked to secure its reach into the East when it established the Dubai Office in the year 2007. David Lesar, President and CEO resides in Dubai to aid in this important effort of securing the Eastern Hemisphere in their company dealings.

Halliburton provides products and services to gas and oil industries throughout more than 70 countries. They employ over 60,000 people and have a total of 15 billion USD in assets. The yearly profits are relatively small, though, and in a good year those profits verge on 2 billion USD plus. This may appear to be a substantial dollar figure, yet in the oil and gas industry it remains a small profit.

In the beginning, Erle Halliburton devised a technique using cement to segregate oil, gas and water supplies from each other. The company's name was the New Method Oil Well Cementing Company and was able to use his new method in 1920 on an oil well run amuck in Oklahoma. Halliburton invented two tools of convenience and expediency. They were the automatic cement mixer that was able to mix cement in volume. This eliminated the need for laborious hand mixing. He also devised a tool called the line measuring device that would create greater accuracy in the cementing process itself. By 1922, his company was thriving and operating across all of the United States.

Erle Halliburton continued his venture into new areas of challenge and his entrance into international markets. Selling equipment to India and Burma in 1926, Haliburton began his international venture. Halliburton's newest challenge was one of off-shore cementing. He accomplished this by using a truck on a barge, first cementing in the Gulf. He continued his worldwide expansion as the need for Halliburton services and new equipment grew.

Erle Halliburton died in 1957, but his company continued to grow and expand its reach worldwide. In 1961, the company took on the formal and much simplified name of the Halliburton Company. The company represents environmental concerns and is always looking for a way to move forward in an environmentally safe manner. In 1976, Halliburton established an energy research center in Oklahoma in order to provide vital information to other companies. Halliburton was available to help the enemies of the United States who were in crises. This was their effort to help all people across the globe.

Halliburton ran into legal difficulty in 2001 when a subsidiary of Halliburton established offices in Tehran. The Tehran situation was scrutinized to see if it violated the "Trading with the Enemy Act." Halliburton fought the potential charges on the basis that no United States individual is perpetrating transactions in Iran. No legal action resulted from this inquiry.

The years after the turn of the century and the terrorist acts of 9-11 have kept Halliburton and its subsidiaries extremely busy. The subsidiaries of Halliburton are involved in so many ventures that are only marginally connected to Halliburton's first intentions. Many contracts have gone out to these companies from such companies as BP Oil – not to mention lavish contracts initiated by the Federal Government of the United States.

Halliburton was involved in the final cementing of the Deepwater Horizon effort when the BP rig explosion occurred in the Gulf of Mexico. In their defense, they had not had the time to place the last and final plug that was necessary to prevent this disaster.

Halliburton is definitely a company involved in controversy. A number of negative assessments will always occur where Halliburton is concerned, especially given former CEO Richard (Dick) Cheney's involvement with the company.

Cheney, who is at the heart of the modern Anglo-American conspiracy to create one-world government, positioned Halliburton as an integral player in the wars and other nefarious efforts to further centralize world power in the City of London. Whether it is the irradiating of whole countries with depleted uranium, drone bombings of woman and children or other offenses against humans around the world, Halliburton will doubtless be found plying its evil craft on behalf of its elite masters.
