Difference Between Propaganda and Reality
Politicians Haven't Listened ... Merkel Climate Advisor Blasts Global Inaction ... Politicians need to get their act together on climate change, says Chancellor Angela Merkel's leading climate advisor Hans Joachim Schellnhuber just days before the global warming conference in Qatar. The World Bank agrees, releasing a report on Monday highlighting the serious consequences that await should global temperatures continue rising unchecked. – Der Spiegel
Dominant Social Theme: Climate change is a terrible thing.
Free-Market Analysis: First it was called "global warming" and now "climate change." But no matter what it is called, it is still a power elite dominant social theme. The idea is that humans are responsible for a great upswelling of heat and humidity around the world.
The world may be getting warmer, or maybe not. But the meme rolls on. A subdominant theme is simply that humans are a curse upon the world and that their destructive tendencies must be controlled.
The people doing the controlling, of course, will be the self-appointed elites that apparently run the banking system and seek to create a formal world government. They use fear-based dominant social themes – promotions – to frighten people into adopting globalist solutions to phony scarcity problems.
Global warming – climate change – is a foundational meme. It allows the controlling elites to recreate society based on scarcity rather than plenty. It provides a rationale for the total reorganization of society in a manner that is ever more conducive to societal control.
People will have to monitor their very exhalations and ensure that they do not eat too much lest they leave an overly large "footprint" on the Earth. In order to ensure that people are adequately modest in their lifestyle and habits, more and more laws will have to be enacted.
The beauty of global warming from a power elite standpoint is that it is truly a global problem demanding global solutions. Thus, the UN can be brought to bear and its globalist mandate extended. Here's some more from the article:
As representatives from almost 200 countries prepare to meet next week in Doha, Qatar to reach agreement on measures to slow global warming, climate scientists are sounding the alarm for more aggressive action. Climate change must become a priority they say.
Hans Joachim Schellnhuber, a leading German climate scientist and the government's chief advisor on climate-related issues, warns that the goal of keeping global warming below two degrees Celsius by 2100 will only be possible with a massive rethinking of priorities.
"We're currently on a course to see a 3.5 to 4 degree (6.3 to 7.2 degree Fahrenheit) change by the end of the century," Schellnhuber, director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), told SPIEGEL. "We've stressed time and again, that we need nothing less than a new industrial revolution, but many politicians haven't listened. They've just sat back."
Schellnhuber says that the European Union could easily achieve a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent by 2020 relative to 1990, instead of the 20 percent it has committed to. Schellnhuber asked Chancellor Angela Merkel to form a "coalition of the willing." But unfortunately, he said, climate change is "not the highest priority" for Germany's leader.
Schellnhuber's comments in SPIEGEL came as a report he compiled with the World Bank, entitled "Turn Down the Heat: Why a 4°C Warmer World Must be Avoided," was released on Monday. Timed to coincide with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) meeting in Qatar, the study focuses on the consequences of a global four-degree temperature increase by the end of the century. The report notes that food shortages, massive water scarcity, rising sea levels, cyclones, drought and an irreversible decrease in biodiversity would result.
We can see from all this that the European political machinery (the world's political machinery, in fact) continues to provide extensive support for global warming ... climate change. The reality of global warming is far from affirmed but the sociopolitical consensus grinds on.
Of course, there is this, posted back in July by Newsbusters.org:
"New Study Thoroughly Debunks Global Warming, Will Media Notice?"
A new study published in the journal Nature Sunday completely debunks all previous claims that temperatures in recent decades are in any way historic demonstrating instead that things were much hotter on this planet during Roman times:
The website of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz published a ... reader-friendly explanation of the study Monday:
Professor Dr. Jan Esper's group at the Institute of Geography at JGU used tree-ring density measurements from sub-fossil pine trees originating from Finnish Lapland to produce a reconstruction reaching back to 138 BC. In so doing, the researchers have been able for the first time to precisely demonstrate that the long-term trend over the past two millennia has been towards climatic cooling.
"We found that previous estimates of historical temperatures during the Roman era and the Middle Ages were too low," says Esper. "Such findings are also significant with regard to climate policy, as they will influence the way today's climate changes are seen in context of historical warm periods." [...]
There are many other reports like this but they are not taken into consideration. The ongoing pursuit of solutions to a likely nonexistent problem is symptomatic of a power elite theme.
These themes and sub-themes are launched on the world as promotions and thus "reality" is not to be recognized. It is a signature of propaganda – and what we call directed history, as well.
Conclusion: When we see a "problem" acted upon at the highest levels, even when there is significant question as to its veracity, the chances are we're witnessing political support of a promotion, not government action designed to address a legitimate problem.

I am an atmospheric scientist and there is little doubt that as of the space age our planet has warmed slightly by 1 degree Farenheit. Having studied atmospheric science for over 6 years, it seems logical that if there is more CO2 in the atmosphere than there would be more condensation nuclei as well.
With more condensation nuclei you get more rain, and with more rain you get more clouds and less sunlight as well as evaporative cooling processes on a particle of air.
Personally I think global warming is true to the extent of 1 degree Farenheit which isn't really much (nothing warranting political action). When speaking with the term Climate Change our atmosphere is under a near constant climate change as the forces of dense cold air battle with warm air all the time.
In fact it is when the climates are changing that we typically receive our most dramatic weather events in the fall and spring. There is most definately not enough evidence to support that any climate change or global warming has been caused by organic life on Earth. That being said climate deserves to be studied by scientists and left out of the political arena.

"There is most definately not enough evidence to support that any climate change or global warming has been caused by organic life on Earth."
Good point.
"That being said climate deserves to be studied by scientists and left out of the political arena."
Good luck!

The global warming, now climate change meme is being used to sow fear, just as the economic destruction will be the catalyst to the North American Union, as down here in the southern hemisphere the Oceanic Union.
Personally I think this order from chaos will back fire this time as the system proposed is to large, to many races, ethnic groups and language barriers. It will be chaos and the PTB may be consumed by it, out of greed and narcissism.

Our current education system is so focused on specialization (and lies), that scientific advancement is barely crawling along. The application of the enormous research power of the computer coupled to search engines is changing all that.
The PTB are focused on maintaining the status quo. The changes and developments are coming so fast that they can't maintain control without draconian attacks.

I've always thought that the "global warming/climate change" scenario was merely the set-up for the "cap & trade" scam.

I have had much fun trying to explain this meme to my socialist wife and our 16 year old. They don't buy it. Government helps the needy (or so my wife stauchly thinks)! I am just a right wing, pro industrialist american capitalist (I have no capital except the house I live in and indeed am rather dubious about much of what industry produces these days) to say that global warming (now climate change) is anything less than an obvious fact. Hey... They ate up the Al Gore videos. What a hero (ok so he makes a little money in investments that have to do with this subject)!
The mind control is so powerful it makes one wonder if the elites are not simply correct in their thinking : people are too stupid to be anything else but the cattle sheeple they are treated as. As such when it is time for who ever spent a fortune to erect the Gerogia Guide Stones to implement the clear idea engraved there of drastic population reductions... Well? Why not?!
Of course 007 may step in and down MoonRaker once more at that moment to save humanity (sheepanity) from the wicked egocentric guy who want's to play god. Right? Frankly no answer. The question is absurd because the idea is absurdly so evil that words will not abide. If what this paper suggests is basically in line with truth (and although I often question topics, I think the DB is a pretty down to earth attempt to shed light on the bottomless pit of high level doings : which are generally self serving psychopathic crimes by those who have got the upper hand, acting in the guise of "Mr. Nice Guy"), the "global warming" meme is indeed not only about upping taxes, but about 'the right' (and more so 'the ability') to breath fresh air, drink clean water and the question of how to feed a world population which is constantly robbed by it's friendly elite classes. who manage everything but produce nothing. These people are very vocal about population reduction but don't seem to include themselves in the equation.
Indeed, it is not a bad idea to hinder pollution (thus go after major industialist polluters), but not make it into something it is not in order to downsize humanity. Just make industries own up to and pay for the damage they do and find ways to stop doing such damage. There is no need for "global anything" in that, but for local action to keep rivers and air clean. "Clean" however also has to do with biodiversity, using natural methods to grow and harvest crops with as little as possible ddt and genetically modified monocultures. These are indeed elite tools for exploitation and profit.

The IPCC when asked about proof talk of a consensus.
I am sure you would find the same consensus in the Vatican if you asked for proof of God

Let's see: first they build a computer model that predicts future tempuratures. Then they decide it is too difficult to account for solar activity, water vapor and other atmospheric components so they are eliminated. That leaves CO2 as the only variable beside the tempurature and "voila" CO2 causes global warming.
The reality is this: the only thing that causes global warming is the lust for power and the greed for more taxes. All the modern totalitarians have tried to "go back to nature" by destroying their opponents standard of living and starving them to death under the quise of saving the land.

DB: "When we see a "problem" acted upon at the highest levels, even when there is significant question as to its veracity, the chances are we're witnessing political support of a promotion, not government action designed to address a legitimate problem."
------------------------------
The one and only useful government action to address a legitimate problem is self-dissolution.

I wonder if most of the unitedstate newspapers are running a climate change theme on their front pages today? I wouldn't be surprised.
I know mine is, headline was something like: Recent Temp Changes Proof of Climate Change Says state Scientist.
I thought of the Daily Bell when I saw that headline.
I would post a link on their article too, but it's not online. Funny that.
In this case - there's no internet pushback - because it's not on the internet.
