Become Part of an Exclusive Circle: A Unique Free-Market Club Really Worth Joining!

Recently, I recommended the award-winning "Uncle Eric" series of books written by Richard Maybury, published by Bluestocking Press. The series is the best I know of for younger people (and adults, too!) desirous of developing a better ground floor understanding of the way the world around them really works.

Having said that, once an educational free-market journey has begun it should be maintained. None of us have all the answers and there is much to learn – a lifetime's worth, in fact!

Quite often, all of us become a bit nonchalant about maintaining our "knowledge connection" and cease to further our own intellectual journey, at least when it comes to enjoying thought-provoking books. Simply reading 'Net-based news and blogs and watching documentaries, no matter how thorough, is not enough. Books are a different animal. They are tomes of organized thought that are meant to anchor a certain perspective in a manner that teaches something of philosophical value on a more principled basis. There really is no substitute for a good book.

Can you imagine gleaning the same amount of in-depth knowledge contained in classics such as Ludwig von Mises's Human Action or Frederick Hayek's The Road to Serfdom by simply reading a 300 to 500 word editorial? The answer is, no.
