Is Occupy Dead?

By Staff Report

Naomi Wolf

Revealed: how the FBI coordinated the crackdown on Occupy ... New documents prove what was once dismissed as paranoid fantasy: totally integrated corporate-state repression of dissent. It was more sophisticated than we had imagined: new documents show that the violent crackdown on Occupy last fall – so mystifying at the time – was not just coordinated at the level of the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and local police. The crackdown, which involved, as you may recall, violent arrests, group disruption, canister missiles to the skulls of protesters, people held in handcuffs so tight they were injured, people held in bondage till they were forced to wet or soil themselves – was coordinated with the big banks themselves. – Naomi Wolf/Guardian UK

Dominant Social Theme: Occupy was a terrific threat and we've shut it down.

Free-Market Analysis: Naomi Wolf has written a much-commented-on article in the leftist UK Guardian explaining how the Occupy movement was controlled and decimated in 2012.

There had been big plans to expand the Occupy movement in numerous ways but as we can see from the article excerpt above, the powers-that-be descended with force and much planning never came to fruition.

Now what is left is a kind postmortem, which Ms. Wolf is undertaking for us. She's been quite good about analyzing the fascist expansion of state power in the West and what it means. But she is also something of an endorser of the phony right/left paradigm that infects mainstream coverage of Occupy and other such events.  Here's some more:

The Partnership for Civil Justice Fund, in a groundbreaking scoop that should once more shame major US media outlets (why are nonprofits now some of the only entities in America left breaking major civil liberties news?), filed this request. The document shows a terrifying network of coordinated DHS, FBI, police, regional fusion center, and private-sector activity so completely merged into one another that the monstrous whole is, in fact, one entity: in some cases, bearing a single name, the Domestic Security Alliance Council. And it reveals this merged entity to have one centrally planned, locally executed mission. The documents, in short, show the cops and DHS working for and with banks to target, arrest, and politically disable peaceful American citizens.

The documents, released after long delay in the week between Christmas and New Year, show a nationwide meta-plot unfolding in city after city in an Orwellian world: six American universities are sites where campus police funneled information about students involved with OWS to the FBI, with the administrations' knowledge (p51); banks sat down with FBI officials to pool information about OWS protesters harvested by private security; plans to crush Occupy events, planned for a month down the road, were made by the FBI – and offered to the representatives of the same organizations that the protests would target; and even threats of the assassination of OWS leaders by sniper fire – by whom? Where? – now remain redacted and undisclosed to those American citizens in danger, contrary to standard FBI practice to inform the person concerned when there is a threat against a political leader (p61).

As Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, executive director of the PCJF, put it, the documents show that from the start, the FBI – though it acknowledges Occupy movement as being, in fact, a peaceful organization – nonetheless designated OWS repeatedly as a "terrorist threat":

"FBI documents just obtained by the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund (PCJF) ... reveal that from its inception, the FBI treated the Occupy movement as a potential criminal and terrorist threat ... The PCJF has obtained heavily redacted documents showing that FBI offices and agents around the country were in high gear conducting surveillance against the movement even as early as August 2011, a month prior to the establishment of the OWS encampment in Zuccotti Park and other Occupy actions around the country."

Verheyden-Hilliard points out the close partnering of banks, the New York Stock Exchange and at least one local Federal Reserve with the FBI and DHS, and calls it "police-statism":

"This production [of documents], which we believe is just the tip of the iceberg, is a window into the nationwide scope of the FBI's surveillance, monitoring, and reporting on peaceful protestors organizing with the Occupy movement ... These documents also show these federal agencies functioning as a de facto intelligence arm of Wall Street and Corporate America."

What Ms. Wolf does NOT say in her article, perhaps because it does not fit into her worldview, is that the Occupy movement was likely a false flag to begin with. We've written about this a great deal: Just search for "Daily Bell" and "Occupy Wall Street False Flag."

The alternative website Fundamental Sine Wave provides us with the connection between Wolf's observations about state surveillance and why the crackdown was so tough. The Sine Wave analysis comes to the following conclusion:

The alternative community did its own research from the start. During the protests we saw the name of one man repeatedly crop up in research. George Soros and his indirect funding of Ad-Busters via the Tides Foundation, plus his blatant attempt to steer the Occupy ship astray with the "Robin Hood Tax". (I even signed up to that thinking it might be a good thing. I never read who was involved. Mistake. Big Time Mistake). Of course Soros always denied funding Occupy Wall Street yet he did publicly admit he funded the Tides Foundation, which in turn funded AdBusters who started OWS. Within a month of the Occupy events taking hold Soros was seen to publicly show sympathy, while he called for more bank bailouts with the other hand. He played both sides for the benefit of the banks.

However if you are thinking that Soros was the end of it all and we can all go home as we have uncovered the rot and rid ourselves of it. Well you would be wrong. He was just the beginning, the conspiracy carried out against the peaceful Occupy Protestors is not only shocking but when this new evidence is matched up with what they protested against (The global banking cartel destroying the world's economy). It becomes very clear that this was purposeful, that Occupy was funded into existence by the banks in order to create social unrest and violence by whipping people into an emotionally violent state when confronted with the actions of the banks. Then all Government had to do (as it is now clear Government and banks are one in the same force) would be to enact new laws that safe guarded the banks from violent protest, while making sure no person would ever stand up again.

In reality it never played out in that way. The Government agencies working with the banks believed they had their bases covered. They thought it would play out just how they wanted it to, descending into social unrest, allowing for the excuse, no the necessity according to them, to remove yet more freedoms from the people. In fact 99% of protests where on the whole peaceful, with the police being ousted as the instigators of violence. Those that began the movement through behind the scenes manipulation, watched their creation take on a life of its own, threatening to bring down everything the Globalists had worked for. In their eyes they had to carry out containment procedures as it was a social experiment gone awry. So they sent in the FBI, Police and Army to crackdown, with force, upon Occupy camps all across America. All across the globe we saw legal actions and force used to shut down protests. From Glasgow and London to New York and Detroit, the story was the same. Government cracked down on the protests, either through political force or physical eviction of the sites.

The violence that began with aggressive Police presence at many American camps, culminated in a massive global wide crackdown upon the movement. Protestors suffering from head injuries as police fired tear gas canisters into skulls. Batons used to beat peaceful protestors. The list of abuses is endless. All because we the people stood up and said no to the banks. All because we the people decided enough was enough and it was time to take back what was rightfully ours.

If you are new to all this, if you thought that Occupy was just a bunch of hippies? Whatever you thought. It was in fact a coordinated multi Government psyop against the people of this world on a massive scale. Initially aimed at America but then expanded (hastily) to include the rest of the globe as the movement spread. If you read the guardian article and still do not see it, then I am afraid you may never be able to free yourself of the conditioning that has been forced upon you. Yet I do believe that this article is the beginning of something quite amazing.

We may just be seeing the beginning of truth. It may be that this new evidence, showing just how much Occupy was a staged Government false flag event, will wake people stand up and it may finally prove to them that this world is not run by The Presidents or The Prime Ministers, it is run by the global corporations and the banks. For it is these entities that control the money supply and it is these entities that decide which country lives or falls.

It seems Sine Wave has it right on a number of levels. Yes, Occupy was a "promoted" movement like the "countercultural revolution" of the 1960s and 1970s. But in this 'Net era, what we call the Internet Reformation makes it a lot harder for the power elite's various facilities such as Tavistock to properly promote such movements that rely on participants' gullibility.

The idea, as we've long pointed out, was to set the "have-nots" against the "haves," thus distracting attention from the real problem – the tiny handful of elites that control central banks and set "directed history" into motion. These individuals are dead set on creating global government and utilize dominant social themes along with economic chaos and outright war as tools to accomplish their goals.

But as we've written for years, and as Sine Wave confirms, it is a lot harder to sustain a phony movement these days. The fear-based promotions that were so effective in the 20th century are failing in the 21st.

It could well be that the Occupy movement proved far more uncontrollable than the elites had anticipated. Certainly, if the massive crackdown that has been carried out is any indication, it could be that the forces that created Occupy are now intent on shutting it down.

Perhaps Occupy had begun to blossom into a real protest movement that was shedding its leftist "us against them" mentality and was beginning to target the REAL problem ... that a small group of central bank controllers and their enablers and associates had hijacked freedom and was busily replacing it with global fascism.

It could be that the powers-that-be intended to crush the Occupy movement as a matter of course ... that this was the plan all along. But this seems unlikely to us. It makes sense that the powers-that-be harshly suppressed Occupy because it was threatening to spin out of control. If this IS the case, then the Occupy movement joins the scrap heap of elite memes that have been exposed and discredited over the past decade. These include global warming, the war on terror and central banking itself.

Conclusion: We still expect that the Occupy movement or similar events will continue to emerge and expand. Some of these movements shall be false flags but increasingly some shall not be. The elites may eventually come to consider the creation and sponsorship of Occupy to have been a mistake.

One other thought, if El presidenta can execute anyone, and torture is not torture, then 'disabling' a political opponent is a piece of cake.

No?

Such is the world we live in, the culture of death, a.k.a. Mars, the planet of war. Onward christian soldiers? To where... ?

And, the new site is okay, the TM at the end of the name is kind of lame but I can get over that.

The green line is the opposite of The Red Line. That works,

Dang, and no background photo of the Alps?
I'll pretend it's there as if I were in Dreamtime.

In thinking about how "they" treated the ows leaders and such... isn't it likely "they" have done much worse to others who speak out now? ... And in the past?

I'm thinking: squads armed with heart attack/blood clotting guns and other cancer causing weapons aimed at those who speak out.

But I suppose they have an array of old school techniques available too - insert history of CIA here - all available to very select private orgs. ?

SUre it's not something People should think,... or so 'they' say,... but is it possible? Is it likely?

I mean, if 'they' are willing to bust heads with tear gas canisters and such as they do out in the open - why wouldn't 'they' go after those of us who speak out and think large - in a covert manner?

Was that one of the purposes of ows? A draw play to disable future rivals? Of sorts? A practice run too?

That's what I'd do if I was them.

Thank goodness I'm not them.

It's difficult not to hate them.

I think you are right. I thought so then too.

occupy was probably just meant to distract from the tea party. The tea party upset the apple cart and they(elites) couldn't allow the possibility of the tea party organizing before the presidential elections. The violence and the crackdown were essential to blurring the lines between tea party and occupy. The news media easily obfuscated and compared the two so as to confuse the "undecideds".

@workingclass:

--Just prior to reading your apology, I had just commented out loud "I love it! If you're going to make a typo, make it a good one that brings a smile to your face!"

Good one. I like it. Give it some currency! Nice little tiny bright spot to the usually and properly serious Bell.

"We still expect that the Occupy movement or similar events will continue to emerge and expand. Some of these movements shall be false flags but increasingly some shall not be."

I am happy to see DB acknowledge that something somewhere someday might not be part of directed history. I am also happy to see Naome Wolf presented here at this time.

In 2012 OWS (and the Ron Paul Revolution) marked the first open resistance to the Fascist Police State. Lacking sufficient support to launch a general strike, OWS was forced to retreat to the dwawing board. It is clear that there is much work to be done before anybody will occupy anything they can keep.

Occupy Sandy is moving in the right direction by focusing on providing relief to storm victims. This builds support among the people and so far Bloomberg has not wanted to bear the embarrassment of shutting them down. As poverty spreads across America volunteers will be needed to set up health cllinics, food assistance, LEGAL assistance, local security etc.. The government will have a hard time convincing you that the people who extracted your abscess tooth are terrorists. Individuals inspired to resist will find ways to withold support of the system without getting themselves shot or arrested.

The coming year could see the end of the petro-dollar and so the end of the dollar as reserve currency. The Fed is determined to monitize (inflate away) the U.S. debt. Internal and external forces combined will drive the dollar to or near to zero. Who will want to be governed by Washington when Washington can no longer deliver on pensions, health care etc.? And who will want to work for Washington when Washington can no longer make it's payroll?

The Empire is doomed. Those who survive the fall will have an opportunity to creat their own history.

I am not of the "somebody oughta do something persuasion"

I am of the "do not support, do not enable, do not associate persuasion" and that consequences, good or bad are owned by "those whom do the action"

... because, all that sane people may consider as "harmful" is, in actual fact, enabled by coercive / fraudulent collection of tolerance / support / tribute. The exact same "crime" (non-opposition to tyrants) that the German people were convicted of and collectively punished for at Nurenburg.

No matter what these "social expressions" of discontent may demand, if it is not "rule of law", I am "all out":
