Dominant Social Theme: Another magnificent US moment.

Free-Market Analysis: We'll be brief. The reality of this moment, so far as we can tell, is that a man who won't reveal his past was sworn in as President of the United States by a Chief Justice who pretended in his most important decision to date that a "law" (Obamacare) was a "tax."

He did this to preserve the institution of his office, or so we've read. He valued his institution more than the people he'd taken an oath to serve, in other words. This is not an unusual bureaucratic perspective.

The Obama administration has loaded massive additional taxes and spending onto a recessionary era. In the long term, there is little chance for the US economy or culture to recover – or not as it was.

Almost certainly, based on what he's done, Obama works for a power elite that wants to wipe away the exceptionalism of the US republic in order to clear the way for global governance.

In his second term, Obama will continue to carry out this mandate. His background remains murky and his agenda unclear only if one continues to take his pronouncements and manufactured biography at face value.
