Dominant Social Theme: Let's be clinical here. We need to utilize torture as part of a larger tool kit.

Free-Market Analysis: According to the Golden Age of Science Fiction some 80 years ago, we are supposed to be sightseeing on the moon and planning relaxed getaways to Mars by now. Instead, we are seriously discussing methodologies of torture and listening to justifications by top US officials like Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.

Secretary Panetta wants us to believe that the war on terror is so terrible that it must be fought by any means necessary, including torture.

But as even Hillary Clinton has admitted, Al Qaeda was originally a creation of the CIA – supposedly built to counteract a Russian invasion of Afghanistan. And there are plenty of reports that Al Qaeda's leader was a secret CIA operative as well, who died a decade ago of Marfan Syndrome when his depleted kidneys gave out.

While the world of Dark Ops is a Byzantine one, it is fairly clear from a decade-long series of questionable events that the official narrative is not entirely accurate.

If we accept what reality tells us – that the powers-that-be have CREATED the war on terror as a way to effectively control domestic populations – the elite's larger dominant social themes and the promotion of them become more explicable.

The top elites want to create global governance and the war on terror provides them with the opportunity to do as they choose. Freedoms can be deprived, wars can be started, whole countries can be erased based on this meme.

The goal of world government is immeasurably advanced by this amorphous war on terror. It is – as we have observed – a kind of directed history. It doesn't have to be true. It simply needs to be asserted and then the elites can act as they choose based on that assertion. Saying it is so makes it so, at least in today's topsy-turvy world.

The problem the elites have is that many people do not believe part or all of the official narrative – in part because of what we call the Internet Reformation. This plethora of electronic information is revealing the world in ways we did not understand before.

It has revealed the existence of a shadow power elite, a tiny group enabled by central banking that creates manifold scenarios to enable the eventual implementation of official world government.

Because there are so many these days who do not believe in the official scenarios, the power elite has taken to using other tools to defuse or negate skepticism. It is using economic ruin, war and regulatory authoritarianism to defeat opposition to its plans.

Intimidation is a large part of its tool kit. Illuminati symbolism – Magik – is, in our view, a promotion designed to make people feel hopeless and helpless.

Lately, we have noticed that torture is becoming a dominant social theme of the elites. It is not, of course, aimed at "terrorists" so much as it is aimed at Western middle classes that might be apt to object to what's going on.

The meme of torture is an increasingly ubiquitous one. The idea being expressed, one way or another, is that terrorists will be subject to it – but so will those who ABET terrorism.

Now it is merely a question of defining what terrorism is. And increasingly, terrorism is being defined as a sociopolitical position that partakes of the freedom-agenda of US founders. If you believe in republican virtues of liberty and free-speech you may soon find yourself branded a terrorist, or quasi-terrorist.

And branded as such, you may be subject to torture.

Thus, all the talk about torture these days at an official level and in the mainstream media is aimed at those Westerners who might be tempted to speak out about the larger agenda being implemented by the power elite.

Don't question the current meme.

You see ... the war on terror is aimed at domestic Western populations. The power elite spreading the meme is intent on passing laws and enforcing them that further control society and eviscerate the middle class.

Torture is the other part of the power pincer, currently, anyway. If by chance you wish to oppose what is taking place, the powers-that-be wish you to understand that your fate may involve rendition, torture or, at the very least, imprisonment for what you have tried to bear witness to.

In watching the video above, we can see once more how this meme is being advanced. We tend to believe that Osama bin Laden died a decade ago – and have written such. In any event, there are plenty of reasons to believe the official story is false. But none of that comes up in the video, above.

Instead, we are to consider whether torture helped determine the death of Osama bin Laden.

This is a meme. It is a false question eliciting a false answer. Panetta knows the question is false. And the answer he gives is hedged only to make it sound more believable.

The war on terror is theatre. Panetta is an actor – albeit a powerful one. He has hesitations about torture but those are only offered to make his conclusion more believable. We are meant to understand that in certain circumstances torture is appropriate.

Conclusion: Message received.
