Winter Cometh
1%er discovers he actually does love the 99%. – YouTube
Dominant Social Theme: They have GOT to pay.
Free-Market Analysis: Today – right now – class warfare is being dressed up in the robes of regal liturgy and class "fairness." This video is a good example of that. It is being promoted on YouTube and elsewhere as a "gotcha" moment.
The most recent movement of modern protest (at the top, anyway) seems to us to be built around this dominant social theme: "We want ours and we'll destroy those at the top to get it. Plus, 'they' should be destroyed because they've got money and are part of the 'establishment' that's keeping us down."
This is a very important movement ... this movement that is perhaps the prelude to REAL world government. And yet ...
Nothing shall grow in the gardens of world government. Fairness will reign. The guilty shall be punished and those who have been oppressed will mount the Throne of Theosophy, certain of their righteousness and rejoicing in their power. See here:
"He who protests is an enemy; he who opposes is a corpse."
"If someone is very hungry, the Angkar will take him where he will be stuffed with food."
"If you wish to live exactly as you please, the Angkar will put aside a small piece of land for you."
(Sayings of the Khmer Rouge: "to be "stuffed with food" is to become a corpse, fertilizing the rice fields; and the 'small piece of land' refers to a burial pit.)
Ever read Chronicles of Narnia? Or the descriptions of the White Queen's winter. It is a land where all things that are good are frozen and quiescent, where rivers have ceased to run, where people have ceased to speak and even the animals have ceased to sound. No history is available but that which is approved.
Thus cometh The Quiet.
Hm-mm. Too strong? Maybe ... But what's going on now seems to us to be directed history. It is a great challenge, in our view, to what is left of the Freedoms of Western Society. You can see more about directed history here:
These freedoms, which (debatably) found their apogee in the brilliant synopses of Thomas Jefferson, were built on the foundation of the Gutenberg Press, which shattered the chrysalis of corrupt churchly power and gave rise first to the Renaissance and then the Reformation.
Today, we've had a new Reformation – the Internet Reformation – that has done to power elite promotions just what the Gutenberg Press did to them 500 years ago when people could finally read books for themselves and rediscover science and the arts. The whole corrupt construct is blowing up.
But not so fast ...
The PE never gives up. Didn't then and won't now. Far from it. Back then they apparently hired first Martin Luther and then John Calvin to become schism-ists. The idea was to split the Catholic Church, which posed an obstacle to the banking elite of that day.
That's what is probably happening again – a schism-ing. This is the way that elites stay ahead of mass movements of discontent. They create them and channel people's energy into them.
The parallels are evident and obvious, in our view. The backers of the new mass protest movements have many connections to the power elite that retains control through "divide and conquer." That's a historical fact. The noisy populace of modern protests is simply another native gathering that needs to be manipulated. And manipulated it will be.
Feedbacker "Aardvark" enclosed a link in the thread for our article "So Deep an Evil." When we follow the link, we come to this simple statement regarding "moderating policies" for OWS. Here's the significant one:
No Platform. Conspiracy theories will be removed immediately and the spammer will receive a swift global network ban. Fascist propaganda will be treated with the similar actions. In that we are very specific about what fascism is: the word has a meaning.
See? Better watch out folks. We can hear the footsteps. Each one murders a body; renders a soul. We're being told how we ought to think. Here's the paradigm:
Class Envy ... Good
Analysis of Elite Manipulations ... Bad
Can't be any clearer than that. Never would have seen it without the Internet, either. Great gnashing jaws ringing like cymbals, this beast munches on power elite promotions and wears them down.
But this is not to be tolerated. The beast must be slain. (Though we think it's too late.)
Enter the 99 Percent. Nothing works much better than envy – class envy. Whip up enough class envy and society can be thrown into chaos. And out of chaos ... order. A new world order. WikiLeaks, OWS ... these seemingly false flag episodes are there to misdirect energy from where it needs to be placed.
The Anglosphere power elite is seemingly responsible for modern history. Its agencies control and instigate what we are living through today. It has put in place a worldwide central banking economy that regularly causes recessions and then depressions. Then it meticulously readied its scripts – promotions – that would drive the 21st century's directed history.
The BIG question is whether it is too late. These last-gasp promotions of the elites are likely transparent to many thinking humans. Much as the promotions aimed at stopping the Gutenberg Press spun out of control, so we believe the current economic and military chaos will prove uncontrollable.
Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.
(Chronicles of Narnia)
(And here's a question that you'll likely understand in a minute: Are the Beatles really part of the 99%, or are they part of a Tavistock promotion?)
Lennon-Mania and the Growing Problem of Elite Credibility
In the meantime, we shall be exposed to such scripts as the one you can see below. (We don't know who these two people are, by the way. They could be thieves or thugs, or "humanitarians." That's not the point we're making.):

I don't think it's a scary time to be alive. It's a very visceral and real time to be alive, waking up from the "american dream" which had us in a deep slumber. It's a bit disorientating considering the way we're being woken up, a bit ugly and nasty, but it's enough to keep the aware on their toes and away from thier televisions. Good or bad, it's a great time to be alive!

The 1 % ers are a pack of fools. Centuries ago, the majority of people worked for survival goods. Today, we work for consumer goods on top of survival goods. The 1% ers have choked off consumptive power. We revert to just survival spending. The current structure of credit and interest MUST grow to service the debt load.
The do-do heads in finance will wither away if the majority of people can only afford survival goods.
When American wages stagnated in the 70s, the credit engine have to be revved up to the maximum. THAT was a stopgap measure. The lack of rising wages was papered over with credit. As we go into a wage--price spiral WITHOUT the wage component, we will revert to an economy commensurate with our wages.
The do--do brains hold enormous amounts of U.S. private and public debt that can only be repaid with profits and taxes skimmed off an economy that includes MORE than just survival spending. About 70 % of the economy was driven by the consumer.
Corporate taxes used to pay about 30 % of the tax load. Today, it is about 3 %. OK, no problem. The 1 % ers are getting a much bigger share. Money does NOT make the world go round. PROFIT makes the world go round. As the 99ers get more destitute, the 1 % get more paper that must be repaid out of profits from consumption. Consumption by the 99%ers.
Henry Ford used to pay his guys very well so that they would be able to afford to buy his cars. The modern capitalist only sees money. He pays no attention to the fact that the money has to circulate. The bankers push LOANS but, the capitalists diminish wages.
Gee, nobody wants a loan,,,, because they have no wages.
GOV made a big push to create jobs. It was an abysmal failure because jobs are only created by profit opportunities. Profit opportunities are created linked directly to consumption. GOV tried to get around this little detail.
GOV tries to bypass the little idea of profit by purchasing materials for creative destruction [war] They create demand but, not profit.
There is plenty of research to prove that every $1 increase in taxes results in a $ 3 decrease in GDP.
So, GOV borrows a dollar that incurs interest payments and decreases the GDP by $3.
The $ 1 + interest has to be paid back. GOV tries to diminish the value of the payback with the left hand [inflation]. With the right hand, GOV tries to make the diminishing one dollar work miracles,,, even while the end result is a shrinkage of the GDP by $ 3.
There isn't enough Keynesian growth to make this happen. Creative destruction increases consumption but, not wealth. As GOV gets ever-so-desperate to create jobs, it gets ever-so-destructive of GDP. Y'all may have noticed that the debt-curve has steepened a LOT lately.
Should GOV try to reverse course and NOT spend, the sudden stoppage of debt-money WILL pull the props out from under all the Fiat edifices that it has constructed.
Needless to say, the 1% ers WILL lose most of the value of all those wonderful papers that they hold so dear. As the 99ers control less and less of the wealth, they will have less and less ability to repay. The 1 % will offer them even more loans.
We will all be Greeks.

The 1 % ers are a pack of fools.
More polarization. Divide and conquer. Target the system, not people.

It never occurred to me before, but clearly Herman Cain is a white album fan. "Number 9 ... number 9 ... number 9".

"The best way to drive out the devil, if he will not yield to texts of Scripture, is to jeer and flout him, for he cannot bear scorn."-Luther
"The devill . . the prowde spirite . . cannot endure to be mocked."-Thomas More
I HAVE no intention of explaining how the correspondence which I now offer to the public fell into my hands.
There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight. The sort of script which is used in this book can be very easily obtained by anyone who has once learned the knack; but disposed or excitable people who might make a bad use of it shall not learn it from me.

I loved this analysis! I like Lewis and loved Narnia. This article by the Daily Bell was tops, IMO. I gave it a 5 and would have given more if allowed. It says what needs to be said far and wide, over and over until people open their eyes and see the real world we live in.

You educated people sure get worked up about literature. Twain and Jefferson I can go with. Nothing wrong with Lewis, even if you are an atheist, unless you are one who does not think. Dostoevsky the greatest? Surely a matter of opinion. He did not write to live, he lived to write, gotta, give him that. I can't think of Kafka as anything but depressing. Hemmingway, Steinbeck, Fitzgerald, yea lump them together. Flashes of genius but only flashes. Never read Stein or Masters. Miller? I prefer Arthur. As far as sci-fi goes, I think it should be hard sci. and creative fi., and Heinlein didn't care about either. Sure messed with my head when I read him as a child and thought I groked that. Don't know the rest of those German dudes.

1%ers= It appears that our major industries are being run by a bunch of psychopathic CEO's, our government's run by a bunch of pathological (lying) politicians and a bunch of sociopathic bankers that are working them like puppets on a string. What great individuals have this crowd produced in recent years?

Apparently the above OWS "Moderating Policies" are, at least, the second version. An earlier version read:
"Conspiracy theories, including any attempt to spam material by David Icke, Lyndon LaRouche, David Duke or Alex Jones, will be removed immediately and the spammer will receive a swift global network ban. Fascist propaganda (including any attempt to spam these four people again), will be treated with the similar actions. In that we are very specific about what fascism is: the word has a meaning."

Not totally in love with the Christian overtones of Lewis, but you can't fault the creativity of the Narnia series. I grew up on the Twain/Jefferson combo.
How about Dostoevsky? Kafka?
Some later americans: Hemingway, Steinbeck, Fitzgerald?
Dare I hope you have read Henry Miller?
Any sci-fi, Heinlein perhaps? Of the new writers, Vinge/Stross?
You are in Switzerland, no, how about Hesse? Günter Grass?
We probably like exactly the same things, I suspect.

How about Dostoevsky? Greatest writer that ever lived.
Kafka? Pure genius. A clinical realist. Probably died young because he dared look at life directly, without blinking.
Hemingway: Learned his craft from Gertrude S. who learned it from Lee Masters who seems to have been an unadulterated, unschooled genius. Hemingway hated Gertrude because he couldn't accept that his art came initially from a heavyset lesbian. He had to slag her in a book on Paris. She made his career and he spent his insulting her. Whatta guy. She was a fine writer too, one for the ages, of one book anyway.
Steinbeck: sentimental propagandist with something "extra."
Fitzgerald: Wrote one great book, stole his narrative from Hemingway who beat him up in a fake boxing bout and never spoke to him again. (Hemingway being in some ways an insecure, uber-competitive ba--ard.)
Henry Miller? Great raunchy prose stylist. For the real thing, read Jean Genet, one of the greatest of all time. (Kind of a Peter Beagle on steroids; or Beagle if he were an unsentimental, murderous homosexual.)
Heinlein: Pedestrian in so many ways.
Vinge/Stross: Dunno em.
Hesse? Nah!
Günter Grass: So politically correct he makes your teeth hurt.

Lord, now you're quoting CS Lewis. I would love to debate literature with the elves sometime.
What are your thoughts on Nietzsche? Twain?
PS Preach more Thomas Jefferson, please!
Reply from The Daily Bell
Lewis may be questionable but some of his imagery is pertinent. Why shouldn't we use it?
Nietzsche: one of the greatest and most obdurate writers of all time.
Twain: A genius, for he discovered a kind of interior dialogue far before Joyce and Pound.
Thomas Jefferson: a great and intuitive thinker. The poet of liberty.
Gotta problem?
