Happy New Year! Iran War to Start by March 20th?
Iran Is Celebrating the New Year by Ditching the Dollar ... March 20th is a holiday in Iran. It is called NOWRUZ and it's the equivalent of New Year's Day. On the Iranian calendar it ties in with the vernal equinox (the first day of spring). The holiday's roots are based in the ancient religion of Zoroastrianism and it is considered the biggest holiday of the year in the country. Generally the Persian New Year is celebrated by a symbolic purging of the home and spiritual representation of creation and fertility. Families get together and traditional feasts are consumed. This year, though Iran is doing something a little different to celebrate the New Year and the result may be fireworks of a less than celebratory nature. This year Iran is changing it's policy for payment of oil. Iran will no longer accept the US dollar and will be looking for other currencies and commodities instead. – DaisyLutherblogspot.
Dominant Social Theme: Iran is simply out of control. A war would be justified.
Free-Market Analysis: Whoever Daisy Luther is, she (apparently a "she") writes good libertarian-oriented articles. The one we've excerpted, above, clearly states the case as to why Iran might be attacked.
The Iran Oil Bourse, as she points out, "has been actively seeking alternative currencies and commodities in trade for the oil produced there. The Bourse has directly approached Japan, Russia and China to negotiate payments in other currencies."
She also points out that at the same time, in 2005, "George Bush began imposing sanctions on Iran via EXECUTIVE ORDER 13382 - Blocking Property of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferators and Their Supporters."
Now, of course, there are number of additional sanctions heaped on Iran, ostensibly because the country is trying to produce a nuclear weapon. In fact, it is not, as has been admitted by various members of Obama administration and military-Intel figures.
But if Iran follows through with its threats and refuses to accept oil-for-dollar this certainly could trigger an intense reaction from the West, especially the US.
The dollar-reserve currency is based on the Saud family's determination to accept only dollars for oil. This is likely a survival technique. The Saud family – as contemptuously corrupt as it is – only stays in power due to US backing.
In fact, we've speculated that the Saudi's main export outside of oil – extremist Islamic Wahabbism – has been covertly encouraged by Western powers-that-be. Anything that adds to Western perceptions that Islam is uncivil and violent is welcome.
The West – the Anglosphere power elite – wants to rule the world. It's pursuing this objective by creating a worldwide economic depression and by increasing military tensions. Here's some more from the article:
Basically, the US is behaving like an organized crime family and wants to put a stranglehold on the country's economy, only allowing breath if Iran goes back to accepting the USD. They say it's because of nukes, though, because that is more socially acceptable.
The efforts of the United States seem to have only increased Iran's efforts to be free of the US dollar. Iran has set the date of March 20, 2012 as the day that they will only accept the yen, the rupee, the euro, the yuan and baskets of currency (currency portfolios).
This stand threatens to crumble the USD's status as the world's reserve currency, which could be the final nail in the coffin of the American economy. If the USD is no longer the OPEC measure for oil prices, we will no longer pay the lowest price in the world for gasoline. Our already wheezing economy will collapse as the price of fuel skyrockets, effectively increasing the price of everything else.
We agree with these perceptions. Over the past decade, since 9-11, the US has behaved towards its own citizens and toward the world with increasing thuggery. From what we can tell, it is involved in no less than seven overt and covert wars, many in the Middle East.
But we have advanced some other ideas as well, when it comes to these attacks. The idea of these wars, in our view, is to convert secular governments into (controlled) Islamic republics.
This is the only conclusion we can come to currently, as almost all the attacks have been launched against secularists in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and now Syria and the inevitable result will be to empower Islamic sentiment and advance its political penetration.
The article also speculates that "The United States is trying to trigger an incident that will allow a direct attack on Iran ... But If they can't trigger such an incident they may well create one and just blame it on Iran. ... Our media propaganda machine is preparing us by informing us of the terrifying threat of Iran's potential weapons of mass destruction. This is all in an effort to get the American people behind this attack."
A likely date for the attack is March 8: "The Jewish holiday of vengeance Purim which also conveniently coincides with the FBI's planned takedown of the internet ... The wealthy 1% has even more to lose than the rest of us."
If we are correct in our analysis, however (that the current serial wars in the Middle East are intended to bolster a kind of regional caliphate) then perhaps the upcoming Iranian war may provide us with a more complex set of circumstances than many in the alternative 'Net media now contemplate.
The power elite is after world government, and we're not sure a full-out war with Iran will serve their purposes. In fact, the war (if it comes) is a kind of farce anyway: The West is apparently BEHIND the current Iranian theocracy. See our article here: Western Elites Caught 'Red-Handed' in Iran?
What the powers-that-be probably want is a kind of Orwellian endless war when it comes to the Middle East. That's how authoritarianism can be enhanced and fascism increased.
The elites seemingly want the appearance of tension, not its actuality. A definitive Iranian/Middle East war would put an end to the tension as World War II put an end to the ambitions of Germany and Japan.
Additionally, there are probably lots of ways to circumvent or lessen the effect of Iran's leaders freezing out the dollar. The US is not without influence in the world.
So if there IS a war we wonder if it will be one that somehow ends up INFLAMING tensions in the region. We are simply looking at the dominant social themes of the elite and projecting what is reasonable.
The so-called war on terror is a kind of elite meme, and one that has served them well, even though it's lately become less effective. We're not sure that the elites want to give it up. It's too useful. It is more to their advantage to ADD to the tension in the Middle East than subtract from it.
On the other hand, Iran's intentions to trade oil for anything-but-dollars may be legitimately affrighting the Anglosphere. It's hard (almost impossible) to tell what is going on at the very top of the pyramid. We simply don't know the actors well enough or the REAL deals that have been made.
Time is very helpful to meme-watchers, however. This article makes a number of good points about the potential for an upcoming Iranian war. By following what actually happens, we may begin to glean some deeper insights into whatever is actually going on.
We may begin to discern, in other words, what plans the elites really have for the Middle East. Will an Iranian/Western war end up being a definitive one? Or will it merely further ratchet up the tension?
If there is no war, or if what occurs in relationship to Iran begins to create a kind of Islamic-Western Cold War, we'll probably begin to have confirmation that the elites are creating another "block" – like the USSR and its allies – that can be used conveniently to finish the conversion of Western democracies to fascism and authoritarianism.
As someone from the latter US Bush administration once suggested, we need to watch what the powers-that-be are DOING versus what are they are SAYING. Nobody ever said elite meme-watching would be easy.
Conclusion: It can be informative though, if you can stand the truth.

Surely you jest? You aren't seriously positing Obama and his associated "military intel" as proof Iran isn't moving towards "the bomb"?
Their as you put it, "extreme Wahhabism" aka virulent anti-US, anti-Israel, worldview, wherein Ahmadinejad states he's all for annihilation of Israel and those damanable Jews, sentiments shared by proteges Hamas, Hisb'allah, as well as most of the Islamic states, is all just rhetoric? To what end?
Obama to me,especially being of Muslim upbringing (though not as influential as his neo Marxist upbringing, is one of the least trustworthy sources of insight. (names of his mentors include Frank Marshall Davis, Saul Alinsky, Bill Ayes, Bernardine Dohrrn, Jeremiah Wright etc) - here's a satiriral albeit serious linkage : Click to view link

They are completely 'sold out' and in league with elites but they have not yet been subjugated economically, nor have they been colonised territorially (neo-colonially) or philosophically, to the extent that is the ultimate aim. Of course, Syria and Iran are relatively stronger in the respects aforementioned than the others. Hence the urgency for them to be dealt with sooner (as was the case with Iraq).

I remember suggesting this about a year ago but it depends which year... But I have no doubt in my mind that Iran, Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia must be crushed in the minds of elites. They see through the prism of the interests of Israel (to a great extent) - to destroy Islam (a traditional foe as with Christianity) and to re-establish the holy land of old are the objectives.

They have been talking of a Caliphate for donkey's years. They (mainstream Muslims) will never achieve it. They're too disunited and most leaders are corrupt. Although there is already an Islamic Caliphate that most mainstream Muslims don't want anyone to acknowledge. It is over one hundred years strong and the group is united with over 120 million adherents.

The Palestinian resistance is NOT basically Shia. But it has gratefully accepted Shia aid, and is free to contrast this material aid with the lip service of its nearby Sunni brethren. Not to forget, some of the Palestinian resistors are in fact Christian--think such people as Hanan Ashrawi, the redoubtable spokeswomen of yesteryear.

The 20th of march is also the day Greece is rumoured to default. That will trigger CDS and lead to a chain of bankfailures. War is always a good distraction. Combined with the arguments in this piece it makes a dynamic period ahead... See for example 'Fitch Says Greece Will Default By March 20 Bond Payment' Click to view link

It could be that the sanctions are designed as a drumbeat for war on the Iranian side. To get the Iranian people whipped into a war frenzy?
I don't know. I'll stop talking now.

When US sanction declares no trade with Iran, then US dollars become as worthless as used toilet paper to Iran. So it should be no surprise when Iran declares it will not accept the USD for their valuable export.
Is this just more 'blowback'? It is hard to believe US Officials and Intel would use this drumbeat as a case for war. It seems like more fear mongering and distraction as the elite controlled market continuies to quietly shift away from a thoroughly looted West.
They plan to be at a safe distance when the shtf.

What I am wondering? Will Iran's refusal to accept USD's for oil, be the trigger to the War? If so "Why ???" is The USA now a "Net Exporter" of Gasoline Products??? Seeing that our @pump price is now $4.00 pg & climbing?
What will have to happen to get American's engaged & involved to stop the Complete Destruction of our Way of Life? The War with Iran seems pre-determined by the gang of thug's now in gov't, but the Lie is, as with baby Bush, WOMD. I beg to differ, It is "Control" of the middle class that these thug's are determined to irradicate!!
So, Where is America's Knight in shinning armor? Someone has always come to save us, must it be you and I with our deer rifles??? I am ready are you?

It is a tricky situation for the US or the Anglo-American elites, because Iran is Shia, Iraq is Shia dominated, Syria is also, and the Palestinian resistence is also Shia. If they attack Iran they risk allienating their Shia allies in these other countries. On the other hand, if they do not attack Iran, they could create a Shia dominated region that threatens the Anglo-American Elites (AAE). Russia and China appear to be behind Iran, if the AAE attack Iran they may allienate China and Russia. In addition I heard India has agreed with Iran to trade oil for gold only, so it is a very sensitive situation emerging, the AAE are being pushed and goaded and it could result in alot of problems for them whether they attack or they do not attack... it seems like they are getting into a bind.

This is just as an aside--last I heard, it's thoroughly illegal to celebrate Nawruz in Iran. The religious authorities take a very dim view of Persia's Zoroastrian past. The Iranians do celebrate it on the sly, as a defiant gesture and one in which they hope to keep alive their cultural heritage in the face of the smothering blanket of fundamentalist Islam.

Nowruz around the world

"Nowruz is celebrated in Greater Iran, Caucasus, Central Asia and by Iranians worldwide. It is a public holiday in Iran, India, Afghanistan, Tajikistan,Iraqi Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Also the Canadian parliament by unanimous consent, has passed a bill to add Nowruz to the national calendar of Canada, on March 30, 2009 ...
"In Iran, the Islamic Regime attempted to suppress Nowruz following the Iranian Revolution and was met with very little success. The Ayatollahs considered Nowruz a pagan holiday and a distraction from more important things such as Islamic holidays.
"In Afghanistan during the reign of the Taliban, Nowruz was banned and considered an "ancient pagan holiday centered on fire worship" but until 2001 it came back and now it is as popular as it was before the extremist Taliban ..."

I am currently reading NO WAR FOR OIL. A complete history of reasons and myths as to why the wars for oil in the middle east and other Muslim countries still exist. Subtitle is U.S. DEPENDCY AND THE MIDDLE EAST.
These wars have never been about democracy or freedom. More than 50% of the world's know oil reserves are in five countries around the Persian Gulf. Saudi Arabia, Iran, Irag, kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
Iran also has large natural gas fields. The top two are saudi arabia and Iran. Total oil and gas reserves. Saudia Arabia-303,285million barrels Iran-300,485 million barrels. This report came from a report in 2008. If the U.S has control of the oil and gas in Iraq, Iran and Saudi Arabia they would be in total control of the middle east.
This was the goal of the former PNAC and it is still the goal. Almost every war has started with sanctions first.America wants the oil and the Muslims want the U.S. to leave the land they see as scared.
Oil was first discovered in 1908 in Iran by the Anglo-Persian oil Company. In June of 1914, Churchill obatined his goal of a majority owership of a private company, Anglo-persian-an act that meets the textbook definition of Socialism.Even before Britain was at war with Germany, the British began operations to seize the oil in Abadan(in Iran)and the port of Basra,(in what is today Iraq)
After WWI the U.S. went looking to the middle east for oil. In the 1928 REd Line Agreement, American oil producers got 23.75% of Iraqi oil, with equal shares to Anglo-Persian (todays BP) Royal Dutch shell and a French company, Calouste Gulbenkian, who got the other 5%.The Iraqi people got 0%.
Because of the high comsumption of oil by the U.S. the need for foreign oil greatly increased. Not only for cars and machinery in the U.S. but for the military industrial complex as well.As this books shows the U.S. has plenty of oil in reserve in America but they needed a reason to go after oil in the middle east.
By claiming oil in the U.S. was running low gave them that excuse.the conclusion seem to be reducing or even eliminating the U.S. military presence in the Islamic Persian gulf would save much money at the time when the fragile U.S. economy can no longer support an overseas empire.america want their oil and gas.
These Islamic countries want American troops to leave.America will not leave because they see China and Russia moving in and doing what American and Britain has done for decades.today, it is the U.S. who is the number one comsumer of oil with china closing in fast. We should have learned since no one has created more terrorist than the CIA since 1947, that once created, they are more difficult to remove than they are to create.

I think the war will happen.. maybe it even has to be very violent, if you want people to look to a world government for a solution something bad has to happen..this (saudi) is a country of very bedouin mentality and they will look to the grand mufti of Mecca for guidance.. and he is def on the side of the Monarchy so this is very confusing for me.
Plus btw if the monarchy in saudi falls.. trust me there will not be another one easily.. because if one tribe tries the others wont accept them and vice versa..this is a point you will hear saudis themselves make as a reason to keep the status quo. even democracy will be hard.. everyone will vote for someone from their tribe and no-one else.
thats why I say there has to be a big war with saudi involved so the people can rally around the monarchy and the grand mufti of mecca who is very anti Shia btw.. thats how they can prolong their rule here..
