AP, Reuters Take Staged Photo of Same Chinese Woman Over Decades
The media manipulates stories with photographs that are staged. They also are trying to create new conservative leaders for us. – YouTube

Free-Market Analysis: This is a pretty good video from the John Birch Society on photo manipulation of the news. The first part of the video is eye-opening, showing one Chinese woman at May Day demos in Tiananmen Square over a series of decades.
Both AP and Reuters take photos of her without identifying her as anything but a generic subject. The point of the analysis is that she is a very grandmotherly looking person holding up signs of Lenin and Stalin. The idea is that normal – even kind-looking – people are communists and that we ought not to be frightened of them.
Now the John Birch society may be controversial on "both sides of aisle" but this use of the same woman over several decades certainly deserves some sort of investigation.
The mainstream media is constantly trumpeting various "scandals" – of the media itself, even – but the use of this woman in obviously staged photos cries out for explanation.
We won't hold our collective breath.
