We believe “smaller is better” – and that the most successful and livable societies offer people the ability to influence their communities in a positive way at a local level.
Healthy civil society begins with individuals taking personal responsibility for their own lives … and attempting to ensure the well-being of their families, friends and colleagues. The current social paradigm unfortunately features “orders from on high.” Modern society is organized around faceless bureaucrats issuing orders that are increasingly enforced under threat of incarceration or violence.
The good news: In the Internet era of the 21st century, the elites are losing ground. People generally don’t like to be threatened and thus the top elites have created fear-based memes to take the place of threats. But ‘Net-based information has given us the ability to counteract these themes with reality.
