Sit Silently ... as Bombs Burst in Air
The primary problem here is one of a lack of separation between the tail on the ass and the ass itself. In this case, the ass, the US, swaggers along in all its grandeur, enlightening billions of awaiting brides with the groom of democracy sailing in on the wings of compassionate drones.
Unlike The Last Laugh Goin' Down, the drink of democracy in this case – one in which I am sorry to say my birth country is complicit – is one that leaves the roots of societies rotten with a virus of hatred. This sickness is ushered in by non-indigenous do-gooders, sporting emblems designed by an international banking cartel, who desire to rape and pillage the resources and productivity of both the land and its settlers.
The other night I witnessed yet another disappointment and wake-up call while escorting my two sons, 8 and 11, to a hockey game in Toronto. The game was between professional teams in the league just beneath the NHL, which happens to be striking – another result of socialist-oriented union influence.
Nonetheless, late in the third period in a less-than-enthusing blowout game the entire crowd, previously operating at a heart rate slightly above a level consistent with a body decaying from the slow but sure effect of rigor mortis, stood together and proceeded to applaud in such unison that the Canadian national synchronized swimming team should have been there taking notes.
Why were these creatures of relatively low-level heartbeats suddenly standing, clapping and beaming with most childish expressions gracing their collective faces? It wasn't because a 3-3 tie had just been broken with some talented play that brought the home team into the lead. Nope. And it wasn't because one of the "ice girls" had suddenly decided to take center stage and lose a few shards of clothing to stimulate crowd interest, either. Nada!
It was, pathetically, because the announcer had just announced a returning "war" veteran and the spotlights had shifted from the rink to brightly illuminate him while a commercial break was occurring and the other side of the cameras were busily being entertained by a Pizza Pizza solicitation.
This is one of the reasons, amongst several others, that my family is thinking about relocating back to the hills of Switzerland. I have truly had enough of this behavior.
Now, you may ask me what makes Switzerland so bloody special. Fair question. Here's my answer: It is comprised of a populous that respects the privacy and rights of others to determine their own destiny.
It is a society that is comprised of people who believe in the right of an individual to act in one's own self-interest but not to the detriment of others. It is a society that, unlike Canada and the United States, boasts the lowest corporate rate and among the lowest personal tax rates in the world – YET has arguably the highest standard of living on the planet.
Why is it that such a beacon of prosperity and personal freedom isn't out menacing other nations with overhead drones to "force them" into seeing the world the way they see it? Why aren't they building military bases (America has almost 1,000 in 150 countries around the world and Canada sends in "peace corps" whenever told to) in others' backyards?
The answer to the above questions is that the Swiss are smart enough to focus on developing an environment that is productive and protective for their citizens and they aren't arrogant enough or "controlled enough" to be manipulated into such a self-defeating posture. They are satisfied to focus instead on being a society that respects personal freedom and unifies to protect the rights of all their citizens.
It is ironic that many people say the reason the Swiss remain neutral (I call it sensible) is because they are blessed with the mountain ranges that encircle their nation. Well, historically speaking, the only thing better than having your nation surrounded by mountains is to have it protected by vast bodies of water. That said, it is even more pathetic that the United States of Enlightenment and its tail, Canada, go out and slaughter innocent civilians who don't believe in their societal-governing doctrine.
What a joke! Sick as it may be, it is better for the mental health of any sane person to just assess it as a bad, sick joke. But back to the "good ol' hockey game" ...
Those standing and applauding were in reality applauding the international bankers who control this giant war machine, whose ultimate agenda is to install world government and treat all those "cattle," as we are branded, for assimilation and conformity. But unlike bovine, these cattle are being branded psychologically with permanent implants of elite spawned and spun propaganda; eventually, it becomes engraved into their brains via the continuous feeding of dominant social themes (eventually maturing into memes). And it works! Sadly for the human race and accommodatingly for evil measures, it works.
The difference between Canada and the United States, official bad-boy enforcer of the power elite banking interests' desire to consolidate global power, is little to none. While Canadians may fly a different flag and sing a different anthem, that is pretty much where the sad song finds a funeral in the reality zone, to borrow a catch phrase from Ed Griffin.
Unlike its neighbor to the south, Canada never for one instant had the guts to fight the international-banking-syndicate-controlled British Empire. Its gutless "democratically" elected leader, Stephen Harper, continues to be a regular Bilderberg attendee, clearly demonstrating that the country will play whatever role is demanded of it.
In this case it happens to be a supporting role to the "Star Spangled Banner." And don't those bombs bursting in air ring wonderfully in your infant's ears! Sing it to them!! Do they smile along with you? Try to explain to your older child why it is that you stand up and applaud the murder of millions around the world because an announcer introduces some bit-player of the war machine.
The only difference between the two nations is the belief held by the "spectators" that one exists. The IRS, SEC, border patrols, military-industrial complex, etc. act in total unison. There is no difference. And Canadians and Americans (as in United States residents) who stand and applaud this immoral charade are complicit – by virtue of their naïve and vociferous support, silent or otherwise.
I taught my children to sit silently as others stand and applaud the bombs bursting in air – to be the few amongst the many – even when most stare in wonder at your apparent contempt, or ignorance ... however they perceive it.

SeaWorld in San Diego plays the Star Spangled Banner everytime SeaWorld opens its exhibits in the morning. When we were there this summer, everyone stoppped and reverently put their hands on their hearts. Not my family, we just kept walking - and did we get some evil looks. My family will not praise warfare in the service of the banks and the state.
I think Christ was right, "Swear not at all," i.e., don't swear allegiance to any state or group.

As you know the French Revolution is the archytype... all modern states have the seed of Terror built into them. Carl Schmitt
For Schmitt, every government capable of decisive action must include a dictatorial element within its constitution. Although the German concept of Ausnahmezustand is best translated as "state of emergency", it literally means state of exception which, according to Schmitt, frees the executive from any legal restraints to its power that would normally apply. The use of the term "exceptional" has to be underlined here: Schmitt defines sovereignty as the power to decide the instauration of state of exception, as Giorgio Agamben has noted. According to Agamben,[18] Schmitt's conceptualization of the "state of exception" as belonging to the core-concept of sovereignty was a response to Walter Benjamin's concept of a "pure" or "revolutionary" violence, which did not enter into any relationship whatsoever with right. Through the state of exception, Schmitt included all types of violence under right, in the case of the authority of Hitler leading to the formulation "The leader defends the law" ("Der Führer schützt das Recht").[14]
According to Giorgio Agamben, this kind of violence, which necessarily bears a juridical value, is another example of the fusion of right to "bare life" (It. vita nuda, Grk. zoe) that transforms the juridical system into a "death machine," able to perform acts of pure violence as needed for self-legitimation, creating Homo sacer, a being that cannot be "murdered" or "sacrificed" but only killed.
Schmitt opposed what he called "commissarial dictatorship", or the declaration of a state of emergency in order to save the legal order (a temporary suspension of law, defined itself by moral or legal right): the state of emergency is limited (even if a posteriori, by law) to "sovereign dictatorship", in which law was suspended, as in the classical state of exception, not to "save the Constitution", but rather to create another Constitution. This is how he theorized Hitler's continual suspension of the legal constitutional order during the Third Reich (the Weimar Republic's Constitution was never abrogated, underlined Giorgio Agamben;[19] rather, it was "suspended" for four years, first with the February 28, 1933 Reichstag Fire Decree, with the suspension renewed every four years, implying a continual state of emergency).
The direction all this leads, and the reason why Schmitt has been taken so seriously by political theory, is to the theorization of the crisis and state of emergency not as exceptional moments in political life, opposed to some stable normality, but as themselves the predominant form of the life of modern nations.

Well done young fella, you and your family will enjoy and benifit from the experience.
Perhaps one day we can enjoy an expresso while watching the world go by.
When all the smart, caring, thinkers leave the elite will be left wondering what went wrong with their master plan.
Just remember to "Burn your Bridges", leave nothing behind, no magazine subscriptions, no accounts, No houses/rent/lease. Internet servers, etc etc.
The only way you should Ever go back is, as a Tourist.
It is interesting to note how UK, Usa, Can, Oz and Nz are So much the same.
A friend in Oz is convinced they put something in the water supply.
It is the only way he can account for the Mass stupidity. :-)

"- even when most stare in wonder at your apparent contempt, or ignorance ... however they perceive it."
And they are wrong again on both perceptions, it is more like pity.
That being said, the Star Spangled Banner and a respect for soldiers came from a place in history. We have not won the war of independence from soveriegn economic control, and now "our" soldiers fight for the traitors among us.
To assume ignorance or contempt in the rebel is the pinnacle of irony and leaves a dull ache of pity in the gut.

Anthony, Here's are big problem: Women by biology & blacks by both biology & choice are "gatherer's" or people who live to be given things from others! I call this a major problem because they make-up over70% of our population! In other words, like blacks, women will come out in hoards again to be given MOR, MORE, MORE, and AFTER the WORLD-WIDE ECONOMIC CRASH, AGAIN EXPECT TO STILL GET MORE! No? Tell me that again after the elections! WATCH!

Anthony, I read in passing that Switzerland -- which clearly suffers from much influence from the Money Mafia/Cabal, to wit, the move away from a gold-backed CHF in '00 -- is a bastion of civility because the Money Cabal declared it safe and neutral territory, for operation of the BIS and storage of their wealth.
The popular notion is that Switzerland's air force fought off the Nazis in WWII. But, I have read other accounts that it was mere theater, and that Switzerland had been declared a safe haven for Nazi gold (with Allied complicity and cooperation), and that 'diplomacy' stopped the Nazi aggression.
The Swiss are a good and decent people, and I keep my wealth there. But, Canadians, and pre-brainwashing Americans, were good and decent people, too. I doubt that the Swiss could withstand full-court press brainwashing efforts that were used here in the U.S.

Anthony,
On the one hand, I agree with your despair regarding the general populations docility with regard to the unjust wars fought around the world in the name of righteousness. On the other hand, I don't think you can ignore the sophisticated non-stop public relations campaign given the people since their birth to ensure their compliance.
It is tantamount to holding a five year old, libel for signing a contract or an adult, who cannot balance their check book, libel for signing a mortgage contract. Have you ever tried to talk a religious extremist, christian, jew or moslem out of their religion? The "programming" runs deep and complete and for all practical purposes takes an "identity crisis" to herald change in their basic views. IQ doesn't seem to matter as cognitive dissidence precludes the individual's utilization of their analytic abilities to solve the dis-associated issues...
Essentially, you cannot blame someone for not using what they don't have. The few who do see through the propaganda were in the past usually maligned as traitorous, but now days they are considered terrorists, who can be arrested, sent to a mental institution for drug therapy or worse. The Internet is helping some see through the "mist", but the majority are still compliant and complacent, just like they are programmed to be... . And many of them are too fearful to wander away from the herd's view.
But thanks for the thoughtful article,
Regards,

Bravo. Good to know you move somewhere safe, and I'm not talking about geopolitical challenges, but about the fact (I think) that people like you are (un-) official targets already registered with the DHS (and as you imply, a Canadian passport most probably won't make a difference).
I think it will be way safer in Switzerland in all regards.

VictorBarney-
People don't simply find themselves depending on government hand-outs unless that government is in the business of creating a population dependent upon that.
It is no accident that 50% of the US population has become dependant upon its host for food [food stamps] shelter [HUD housing] and of late - Obama Phones, just to name 3. Just pledge your alegence and the Host will take care of you, right up to the moment when they no longer need, or want, the parasites attached to the Host, in any way, shape, or form. That's the moment when all hell will break loose... when the SS check, or the welfare check or the food stamps are no longer found in the mailbox, because the world sees that the US has defaulted on its debts.
Just look at NFL fans. The world is crumbling around us and it angers none of them. They say NOTHING about the 'enhanced pat-downs' [loss of their 4th amendment]prior to gaining entrance to the church-of-football stadium. But during an NFL referee strike, the uproar from a few bad calls on a few plays on the field, showed the world where their hearts and allegance lays. From the uproar, one might think that a child was slaughtered on the field at half-time. No... just a bad call. Seems most the US population is fast asleep.
Turning the US into a socalist state is part of the 100 year plan. Start with controling the money supply, create back-breaking debt, install sociopaths and corporatists in top posts [see FDA, EPA, SEC, Justice Dept, etc.] that pave the way for even more sociopaths to be placed at top posts.[see DHS, TSA, etc.] In lower posts, they have employed the least curious humans they can find. Those people are looking for 1 thing - a guaranteed paycheck every Friday. Lazy, unimaginitive, and as curious as a dead sloth, all being lead by sociopaths, bent on the destruction of what had been built here in the US as a shinning example of ingenuity, toughness, pride, and self-motovation.
Create a lifestyle wherein citizens no longer need to 'hunt-and-gather' [work and invent] but rather can relax on the couch and watch the mezmerizing TV machine and through that TV 'lead' those lazy idiots to slaughter, by lying to them about the events going on, on this planet, and keeping them as distracted as possible, with brain-numbing TV shows.
Like the person that kills the messanger, you are blaming the wrong people.

Tony, Tony, Tony. So I take it that you pigeon-hole the United States of America and Canada into the same slot as you would Germany, Russia, China, and maybe even Italy for their compliance in two world wars and annilation of their citizenry to meet political ends. Shame on you.
You seem to forget the millions of people, regardless of race and religion that the USA, and to a lesser degree the Canadians, have faught for, fed, and clothed for innumerable decades. By the way Tony, you forgot to toss in the Australians. They too have have joined with the USA and Canada to combat evil, yes evil.
While no nation hits 100 per cent in the realm "niceties," these three countries have done more good for humanity than any other three in history.
So Tony, don't come back to the USA, better that you go to Switzerland and yodel your way through your life singing the praises of the worse bankers on the planet. They taught Western bankers everything they know!
And, when the bombs are bursting during my national anthem, I will allow tears to well up in my eyes out of pride for what America has represented to the world. The Statue of Libeerty in New York Harbor says it all!

I guess it's time to brush-up on my Italian.
I remember one day I was at a CART race with my older brother in CA. I refused to pledg my allegiance and refused to take of my ball-cap. My neo-con brother, with whom I no longer speak [8 years and running] flipped his wig. All I can about J. is, 'he's a fervent listener to Rush Limbaugh'.
I was at my son's graduation from high school last year and did not applaude with everyone else when they announced that after graduation, a few of the freshly graduated kids were to be headed for war. It made me very sad to hear. I caught a bit of s**t for that from a guy seated behind me. But, to have a truthful discussion with him would have proved a waste of time in that environment.
It makes me very sad to see the demise of this outrageously beautiful country. My son will see much worse acts than I will as I'm old and sick.
As I see it, Blind Flag-Waving is a mental disorder for which the only cure is acceptance of what has turned out to be, by far, the most limited and precious resource on earth... . TRUTH. TRUST is a close second place. Luckily, there are little islands of truth and trust dotted here and there. Not easy to find, but DB is certainly one of them.

What used to be the truth, long ago, that America did support the Liberty that most people wanted, is now usurped by the central banking cartel and it cabal masters. It is sad. The thing that is more difficult is that those who would fight, and do fight, do so because of the honor of what their hearts aspire to.
When will the Swiss bring me the heads of the banksters? My guess is it will be a long wait.
I hope readers here will take the time to read the below article.

Mr. Wiles, Your stand does bother me. Back in 1974 during a company Christmas party, my boss gave a speech about his strong feeling for America and that he was sure that "we will recover from this recession" (1974) . He ended with singing "God bless America". Everyone rose from sitting on the floor, stood, and joined him in singing; I was the only one who refused to stand. Being the only Caucasian present among Japanese and mixed Pacific peoples, I was the only one with disdain for the American government. These people with whom I worked were so much more "American" than I was and they were very patriotic.
Today I see that our enemy does not come from overseas. Our very profound threat comes from congress, the administration, the courts, the central bank, and the shadow government whose strings are pulled by the moneyed power elite.
Our military personnel have to be awakening to the truth and doing whatever is in their power to stop what they are doing and to come home.
While I will not give one whit of respect to the government, I will stand for our returning military, for our flag, and our anthem.
God bless America!

Switzerland was one of the first if not the first country to question and ban the use of glysophates (Round-Up). That's the kind of country everybody should live in.
Thanks for this account. I also find the flag waving to puke on and wish I were living someplace, anyplace, else, when national anthems are sounded.
