Dominant Social Theme: Thank goodness the SEALS are speaking out.

Free-Market Analysis: All over the US news are reports about what really happened in Benghazi and how the treacherous Obama administration declined to act.

But if you listen closely, you can hear a number of power elite memes being reinforced. The dominant social theme in this case is that there is always treachery at high levels of government and that fortunately, the demos is self-correcting.

The sub-dominant social theme is even simpler: Thank goodness for the military and "our brave authorities."

Of the four killed during that 7 hour battle, 2 of the people died in the final hour. Ty Woods, a former SEAL teammate of Nagel's was one of the last to die. "Ty ran his weapon dry and killed 50 jihadists before he was taken down. If this Administration had used the intel they had and sent help, my friend might still be alive" said Nagel.

Other SEALs are just as furious with Obama.

"If Obama sent Ambassador Stephens to a death sentence mission in Benghazi; what will he be willing to do to the American people to appease what appear to be deep Muslim Brotherhood ties?" - asked former Navy SEAL Benjamin Smith.

The statement, "The SEALs removed one threat to America, now it's time for the voters to remove the other" refers to Osama bin Laden, who probably died about ten years ago and not in any SEAL raid.

Additionally, if you play the video below, you'll hear various authoritarian memes being cited: The CIA is spoken about approvingly, the FBI is called upon to investigate.

The mess in Benghazi is being used – as are so many incidents – to reinforce current US government fictions. Portions of the state may be questionable, but other portions are to be lauded.

The video below focuses on this issue, complete with hyped-up indignation, misinformation and the inevitable celebration of investigative "authorities."
