We track dominant social themes here at the Daily Bell, and the spectacular implosion of the "Stop Kony 2012" campaign is a further example of how these memes are disintegrating under the pressure of what we call the Internet Reformation.
We commented on this in this past week, in "Kony 2012 Debunking Shows How Far Alternative Media Has Come." But we wrote that article before the spectacular implosion of the "artistic creator" of the video, who apparently had a nervous breakdown due to the reception of the video and was sent to a psychiatric facility.
I am not one to rejoice at this sort of thing. In fact, it is a personal and familial tragedy for the person involved, obviously. On the other hand, the video itself was fairly despicable, in my view, and obviously and evidently the intention was to create a power elite meme.
This is not idle speculation. Alternative media reports may have firmly fixed the producers of the video, "Invisible Children," within the larger framework of the State Department and its infamous AYM sponsorship.
The "youth movements" that the power elite has assiduously cultivated over the past decade or more are responsible for destabilizing numerous countries around the world now.
The Invisible Children non-profit seems to me to be firmly entrenched within this Intel paradigm. No doubt, if their funding stream is analyzed closely it will emerge that various strands of support lead back to elite foundations and personalities.
What was the meme? It was to create a groundswell of support for a kind of neo-colonialist attack on Africa. Some of what is intended has been clearly elucidated now by alternative media and some has not.
The alternative media, as we have pointed out previously, has been superb in rising up to denounce the video and the intentions behind it. Alex Jones led the charge with a hundred – maybe a thousand – websites and blog-sites all focusing on the true disinformation inherent in the "Invisible Children" effort.
Many facets of what the video was intended to do have been analyzed by now. But let me try to sum up in a few sentences:
The video may be part of a larger power elite plan to take control of the Middle East and Africa more directly. In the Middle East and upper Africa, as we've reported many times, the power elite has destroyed a number of secular regimes (Egypt, Tunisia and Libya) on their way to installing what seems to be a region-wide Caliphate.
The idea seems to be to create a wider war on terror by building a Muslim-oriented Caliphate using the Trojan Horse of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is apparently CIA connected at the very top. The Kony video is obviously aimed at providing a wider justification for more African military involvement by the West.
All the above actions are CONTROL oriented. There are other reasons, as well, having to do with gold, with the world's next reserve currency and, of course, natural resources. Some of these we've pointed out in the past. But the larger issue is the one-world government that elites are continuing to pursue.
The moves in the Middle East and Africa and even the Kony video itself needs to be looked at within that context. And seen in that context, I think we can come to certain conclusions.
The main conclusion we can come to is that the elites' dominant social themes are really in a kind of free fall now. The elites RELY on these dominant social themes to organize society and instill belief systems that allow for the gradual implementation of what has been called a New World Order.
The idea of a consolidated global government run by the current elite – and at the top it is apparently composed of dynastic banking families – ought to be scary to anyone. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. A one-world government cannot be anything other than tyrannical.
But these dominant social themes, having worked so well in 20th century and even earlier, have certainly been undermined by the availability of 'Net information. One by one, they are toppling, or at least losing credibility. I'd like to think we've contributed to this trend.
Whether it's global warming, the so-called "war on terror" or various scarcity memes having to do with food, water and oil, people are a lot less likely to take what they read and hear from the mainstream media at face value anymore. There are too many other outlets via the Internet.
This is why the powers-that-be have tried to crack down on Internet information via such ploys as copyright enforcement. It's exactly the same tactic that was used after the Gutenberg Press began to change the way people thought about the Way the World Worked.
As we've often pointed out, this is a big problem for the power elite. Lacking the ability to propagandize the masses, the elites have turned to more brutal techniques. They are trying to accomplish via the brute force of law and regulation what they cannot accomplish via the propagation of memes.
Even worse, the elites have increasingly turned toward and encouraged, in my mind, economic disintegration. The idea is to make people so miserable and insecure via "austerity" and various wars that we will simply cry out for "order" at any cost. At that point, world government will start to become a reality.
But wait just a minute. As far as I'm concerned, however, "Kony 2012" and the pushback it has received mark a kind of watershed moment for the Internet. There have been several I recall.
One was when Dan Rather was fired after the Internet exposed the phony documents he was trying to use to attack then US President George Bush. I have no admiration for Bush, who was a deliberate war-monger, but Rather was rightfully caught.
Another watershed moment, in my view, was the "ClimateGate" exposure of emails that showed fairly convincingly that global warming was a contrived hoax. The "movement" has never recovered from this setback.
And another, very recent, watershed moment has been the unraveling of the case against Dr. Andrew Wakefield who first identified a potential link between autism and the MMR vaccine. One of Dr. Wakefield's colleagues just had disbarment from the British medical establishment reversed.
But the rapid and seemingly complete collapse of the Kony gambit must rank as the most astonishing yet in my view. The anger of seemingly the entire alternative media community is palpable and the "nervous breakdown" of the man who made the video when see in this light is perhaps no accident. They're under enormous pressure.
The elites will continue to do what they do. They've been doing it for thousands of years apparently, and the exposure of their thematic mechanisms won't stop them from trying to achieve their goals.
But above all the elites seek justification for what they do, and the Internet regularly strips these self-serving and manufactured justifications away from them.
This leaves the brutality of planned depressions, manufactured wars and unjust laws supported by crony favoritism. How long they can manufacture consent via fear rather than conviction remains to be seen.
There is a reason that the elites counted on the dissemination of their memes in the 20th century. There are a lot fewer of them than us.
Maybe at some point, as the Internet Reformation rolls onward, the top tier of elites – the powerful banking families themselves – will see fit to take a step backward. This won't be something done within a vacuum, of course. They will have to be convinced it is in their own self-interest to keep a lower profile.
It could happen, in my view. Perhaps it already is.

... because you gotta have a screw or many loose, given the complexity of navigating / ruling your own life and affairs to BELIEVE that you have any hope of success of ruling the lives of others whose circumstance and nature you can have zero clue.
Which is why "they" keep it simple: "obey or else" (we will smite you). All else is pretext and rhetoric.

MK ULTRA goes far beyond the simple passive stuff. But, like all tools, it has it's limits. The CIA can cause lots of wars but, how are they on loading an oil tanker?
As the PTB see their plans unraveling a bit, they will have to take off the gloves. They probably knew this all along. Why else would they bring back the death penalty,,, advocate aggressive war and create their own police force? Why can't they just rely on INTERPOL and NATO ?

The U.S.S.R. stands as a shining example and an object lesion. When they lay prostrate, nobody invaded. Birth-control and mechanization have changed the world. There is little use for the war industries. If all the demented members of the world's theocracies could be convinced to grab a spear and go mano-a-mano, that would greatly improve the situation.
Various groups are working overtime to keep war from becoming obsolete. The net has made it increasingly difficult to manufacture a causus belli. When the battleship, Maine was sunk, nobody questioned the event afterwards. Now that the U.S.S.Enterprise is due to enter waters near Iran, EVERYBODY is aware of the possibility of a false-flag event. It has 8 reactors onboard. Imagine if it were blown up adjacent to the coast of Iran. That would compare to blowing up an asbestos-laden building in the center of New York.
The PTB have a problem. They control / own enormous wealth. Most of the wealth is not tangible. Some of the wealth is tangible. The value of any given paper or object is; whatever someone will pay you for it. Should things blow TOO violently, there will be no demand for paper wealth.
If there is no paper wealth, how can there be a "store of value". Without "store of value", manufacturers will not produce.
One can gauge the violence of the collapse to discern if the PTB want population reduction or just control.

It has been determined (no specific reference) that 4% of people walking among us are devoid of consciences (i.e. psychopaths). Actually, that's good odds except for the fact that those who are sans consciences are drawn toward being in the ruling class.

Being the perennial negatist this whole thing smells. Way too easy. Somebody was getting close to something or someone important so the whole shebang was killed. The Power Wannabees always have their token fall guy if they sense a serious problem. They may be psychopaths but they're smart psychopaths...

Can't help but wonder if he had some "help" with his "nervous breakdown". There are probably some in high places who would not want him to talk.

There is something to say about this poor creative fella that led to his emotional collapse and 5 minutes of incredibly lousy fame. His spiritual collapse might be a reflection of the elite's coming collapse of information control. I suspect Obama might do something similar (while frantically pushing the button over and over again) , or the general staff at the Pentagon, or members of the upper echelon of EU,UN or Congressional leadership. They will do something crazy-insane when that magic percentage of the world population realizes how phony the NWO scam had been. When people wake up the elite may respond a lot like that poor fella... . Raging against the world buck naked on the street corner. I could imagine Nancy Pelosi responding this way in her jail cell awaiting her hanging. Barney Frank has been doing this in his home for decades. Ted Kennedy was caught doing these kinds of suicidal freak-outs in Palm Beach with the ladies if I recall.

The CIA is involved far mor than people imagine - when I wanted to understand the suicide of my dad, a German surgin - I ended up in MK-Ultra, were lots of Nazi-scientists ended up illegally, and I know today, that they invaded and destroyed scientology with th purpose to suppress modern knowledge on health - which is spiritual, as proven by German Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer.

Yes, Nithsdale, you are correct. After about 500 years of "our" ascent, it appears that the world situation is changing radically. Success has spoilt us westerners and the accompanying hubris during the previous century has put to rest any realistic possibility for a reemergence.
Fortunately, my personal situation is not bad. The only cloud on the horizon is that an improvident federal government is searching high and searching low for the proverbial "blood from the turnip" and my savings are in the squeeze range. However, the way the federals are going, it is only a matter of time before the federal system implodes. Thus, hope springs eternal.

Woo Hoo! I am loving it! The elite may possibly still accomplish what they are trying to do, by brute force. They do after all control the war makers. But at least they won't do it without their naked behinds shining for all to see. And I feel the Daily Bell has been the leader in exposing them. You deserve an award, but as THEY are the award givers, alas, it likely won't happen. :-) But just know you are heroes in my book!

and, if the "artistic creator" were an insensitive Machiavaillain sociopath, there would have been no remorse, nor severe cognitive dissonance, the root cause of "going over the deep end", requiring a trip to the "loony bin" and the services of the shirts with extra long sleeves tailors.
So far as the Kory 2012 "artistic creator" goes, maybe not a "step back", but certainly, a "step out".
We ain't seen nothing yet. History is very clear: ACT without "consent of the governed", CONSEQUENCE: Extinct governors.
Where do you think democracy came from, before it was subverted (corrupt law not controlling "democratic excesses") to the point the majority, if sufficiently manipulated can vote the extermination of minorities, as happened in Nazi Germany, for Machiavaillain "neccessity"?

Congratulations! You should celebrate a victory. The internet is proving to be the logical successor to the once free press, now enslaved to givernments with funds to create sinecures for life for those who do its bidding. The internet is so huge that the givernments will never have the dough to buy up everyone as is the case with the boxed media now.
Logic won the day in this Kony business. It did not make sense that a scragtaggle bunch of revolutionaries working without any support from anyone should be such a problem in an area where the power play was controlled by Islam, especially when it was caled "The Lord's Revolutionary Army" and was fightng for the Ten Commandments instead of the Koran! The CIA boys, now constituting the Masonic movement in their guise of it, The New World Order, must have really lost their marbles! But you may be right. It could be that they have lost their dirty war against reason!
My own view is that the West has lost its game against the rest of the world. The petty nonsense directed at religion in the "developed" world has no attraction to those who know their cultures are intricably entwined in ancient beliefs and want no truk with our concocted schemes of deliberate disestablishmentarianism. The rest of the world has awakened to the fact that science is not a secret organization and anyone with a mind can do remarkable things and is never held back by his culture.
We are about to see an explosion of innovation from countries we have disparaged. They will move quickly and without having to repress ancient beliefs, spend the capital in such unnecessary directions. We, in the West, have hobbled ourselves with the misconception of War with Belief; we have destroyed our Universities with it!
