Opposition eyes Syria seat at UN, Arab League ...Participants pose for a group picture during a meeting to form a new Syrian opposition group called the National Coalition of Forces of the Syrian Revolution and Opposition in Doha late on November 11, 2012. The opposition Syrian National Coalition has urged the international community to help it take over Syria's seats at the UN and Arab League as part of efforts to set up a transitional government. The group, which has been widely recognised by Arab and Western nations as the sole representative of the Syrian people, also asked to be given regime assets frozen as part of international sanctions on the Damascus government. In statement late Thursday, January 10, the coalition urged "the international community to end all legitimacy of the Assad regime by granting Syria's seat at the UN and Arab League to the transitional government" being set up by the opposition. – Rappler.com
Dominant Social Theme: These things happen. You have to break some eggs, etc.
Free-Market Analysis: Is the current Syrian administration doomed? There are or were YouTube videos of UN vehicles carrying armed "rebels" into Syria to fight against the government. These were said to be the same "al Qaeda" fighters that had added to forces overthrowing Syria's Muammar Gaddafi.
And now they are fighting in Syria. It is these individuals along with other apparent Western surrogates that are now moving to create a "transitional government" just as they did in Libya. The blueprint is almost entirely the same and therefore there are surely unseen hands behind its formation.
Those hands no doubt belong to the power elite that is trying to build world government and is destabilizing the Middle East to do so. The idea is to create a Muslim crescent in the Middle East that can serve as a fictitious enemy of the West – allowing further Draconian "terrorist" legislation like the Patriot Act to be passed.
The other positive, from an elite point of view, is that the many wars – and more coming – allow for the addition of more troops in the region. It justifies having a large footprint on the ground that in turn gives the West a lot of influence.
What this cobbled together opposition is doing now is figuring out ways to gain funding. The idea of applying to the UN is a convenient gambit because it allows the West to fund the insurgency with donated dollars from around the world. Here's some more from the article:
The opposition Syrian National Coalition has urged the international community to help it take over Syria's seats at the UN and Arab League as part of efforts to set up a transitional government.
The group, which has been widely recognised by Arab and Western nations as the sole representative of the Syrian people, also asked to be given regime assets frozen as part of international sanctions on the Damascus government.
In statement late Thursday, January 10, the coalition urged "the international community to end all legitimacy of the Assad regime by granting Syria's seat at the UN and Arab League to the transitional government" being set up by the opposition.
The coalition, set up in Qatar in November and grouping the majority of opposition forces, including a unified military command, said it was striving to set up a transitional government.
"The Coalition is working with committees composed of technocrats who will serve as the nucleus for future ministries," the statement read.
Qatar (above) is another familiar name. Though it was never reported by the mainstream media, little Qatar played a giant role in the Syrian rebellion. Even today, Qatar supposedly has some 6,000 heavily armed troops maintaining the "peace" in Libya.
And now Qatar is adopting a similar role for Syria. Right now it is reportedly organizing a transnational government. But surely Qatar's role shall involve troops, as well. The advantage from the US and NATO point of view is that Qatar is a monarchy and the US-controlled Qatar king can do anything required without complication or publicity.
We can see clearly the forces being marshaled against Syria just as they were against Libya and previously Iraq. In fact, yesterday we reported on rumors circulating that Syria was in danger of losing control of a great deal of uranium.
The implication is clearly that Western forces may have to be inserted into Syria to ensure that the uranium doesn't fall into the "wrong hands."
There is a pincer-like strategy at work here. The power elite will ratchet up pressure for a Western invasion. Meanwhile, various "rebels" will agitate for a formal government in exile.
It must not be pleasant to be Bashar al-Assad right now. He must know that the combined might and Money Power of the power elite has turned on him. No tears need to be shed for Assad or his thuggish family but the spectacle of certain Western interests taking out yet another "legitimate" government is troubling – if only for its almost laughing lawlessness.
Certainly, it is simply not credible for the West to insist anymore these are somehow home-grown movements – though this is exactly what is maintained. AYM and the CIA have each played a part in insurgencies in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya and now Syria – and probably many more as well.
What is the REAL reason for these wars and Western involvement in them? We think we know and have reported on the reality as we understand it. Just search for "Islamic Crescent""and "Daily Bell."
Where is the mainstream media? What we understand is not difficult to comprehend. A few questions would expose the actual agenda behind these many terrible wars. We will look forward to an expose in the New York Times. Or maybe not.
