Climate Change and HAARP – A Working Relationship?
By Staff News & Analysis - February 24, 2014

Al Gore brings climate change message to Kansas City … Former vice president Al Gore spoke about climate change Saturday during the Folk Alliance International conference at the Westin Crown Center hotel. But the former vice president, speaking Saturday in Kansas City, cited many more recent examples how heavy use of fossil fuels is contributing to extreme weather events and trends, in his view. Gore filled a Westin Crown Center ballroom with a 90-minute presentation, using photos and videos to illustrate a litany of floods, wildfires, torrential rains, droughts, dust storms, rising sea levels and increasing world temperatures. – The Kansas City Star

Dominant Social Theme: The water is rising! The crisis is coming! The world is ending! Only Al Gore and the United Nations can save us now …

Free-Market Analysis: Al Gore is back at it again. One of the best-known climate doomsters is apparently on the hustings once again, and for various reasons that we will mention in this analysis, his reappearance is disturbing, indeed.

At a time when the charlatans behind global warming are losing both credibility and lawsuits, Gore nonetheless steps up, providing easily manipulated audiences with a broad gamut of faux-facts.

Here's more from the article:

To those attending the Folk Alliance International conference, he noted examples of flooding in locations both remote and closer to home, such as in Manitou Springs, Colo., where high water barreled down mountain highways last year, carrying cars along with it.

"They had never seen anything like this in Manitou Springs," Gore said. He cited the possibility of how flooding in Pakistan could destabilize that country, a nuclear power, and the possible effect that continuing drought in California might have on the world's food supply.

"Think about that," he said. "The Dust Bowl is coming back, quickly, unless we act." Gore presented animation from his 2006 film depicting water pushing into the streets of lower Manhattan — much mocked at the time, Gore said — followed by images of water filling New York City subway tunnels during Hurricane Sandy in October 2012.

Gore conceded the possible fatigue some may have with his warnings, as well as the possible sense of powerlessness as to what any one individual can do to affect what appear to be vast, unchangeable trends. "Do we really have to do this and — if the answer is yes — can we do it?"

… Gore urged those in attendance to write songs and spread a renewable energy message "all over this land." Folk music, he added, "played a positive role in resolving the central question in civil rights, as to what was truly right and truly wrong."

The reason that Gore's reemergence is disturbing has little to do with him and much to do with what seems increasingly obvious: That the world's globalist elites have developed weather-manipulation technology and are quite serious about deploying it.

HAARP facilities – apparently there are at least three of them now – are the most obvious culprits in this matter. It is apparently not difficult to super-heat air at high altitude and thus disrupt natural weather conditions causing either more or less precipitation. Over time this can give way to droughts or floods.

Jesse Ventura in one of his "Conspiracy Theory" television episodes attempted to visit a HAARP facility but was turned away. US officials are evidently quite secretive about what's going on at HAARP, even though the public explanation regarding HAARP focuses on purely scientific research.

Nonetheless, the US government has filed hundreds of patents regarding weather manipulation; meanwhile, the ever-vigilant and suspicious alternative media has questioned numerous recent weather catastrophes.

Global warming may be hard to produce; not so "climate change." If indeed the power elite has embarked on a deliberate campaign of climate change (to support various kinds of economic manipulations), then it makes sense to send one of the world's best known drummers back out onto the circuit. Gore's reemergence may coincide with a renewed effort to reignite this dangerous meme.

Again, we understand the above constitutes a kind of "loony talk" (though in this era of NSA revelations, less so than previously). But the resolution of such questions would be simple. The US government could simply open up the doors of HAARP to explain the kind of purely scientific research that goes on there.

This sort of simple and powerful action could also put to rest the controversy over the amount of gold the US Treasury has on hand in places like Fort Knox. Again, the answer is easy enough: Simply open up the doors and let people see for themselves.

Biggest Currency Reboot in 100 Years?
In less than 3 months, the biggest reboot to the U.S. dollar in 100 years could sweep America.
It has to do with a quiet potential government agreement you’ve never heard about.

  • The greatest natural disaster in the history of the United States was the 1927 flood of the Mississippi, explained in exquisite detail in “Rising Tide” by John M Barry. Massive snow pack in the Alleganies, Apalachian and northeast Rockies during the winter of 1926-1927 were already reaching flood stage with the spring melt, and then came the rains. By July 27,000 square miles of the lower Mississippi was flooded and nearly a million homes destroyed. Man had accurate measurements since the early 1800s and if this happened once in 200 years, then this is the 100 YEAR FLOOD EVENT. The highest one day rainfall in the lower 48 occurred in 1978, during Tropical Storm Claudette with 42″ in 24 hours in Alvin Texas. We live on a planet that is profoundly indifferent to human existence. Changes in trace level, natural, mandatory for life, three atom gases DO NOT impact temperature or climate.

Everything in the Universe ’emits’ radiation based on it’s temperature. Our ~6000K Sun emits a wide spectrum, bell shaped curve of energy, 30% of which is absorbed or reflected by the atmosphere. Carbon Dioxide ‘absorbs’ in three InfraRed bands, the 2.7 micron [800C], the 4.3 micron [400C] and the 15 micron [-80C]. Earth never gets hot enough to produce any CO2 capture except in the 15 micron band, also shared with water vapor molecules which outnumber CO2 molecules thousands to one. If you are absorbing in three bands prior to warming the Earth, but only absorbing in one band after warming, the additional CO2 is a COOLANT. The atmosphere has a uniform ‘Lapse Rate’ where temperature and pressure drop with increasing altitude. Heat absorbed in the atmosphere rises, never “warming” the Earth except in the rare occasion when wind pushes a warm air mass over cold land, called ‘Advection’. Everything about climate science is so distorted it should be called Climate Alchemy, stripped of accreditation and removed from the family of real science.

    • Tony montana

Not to digress, but aren’t you the same guy who posts about the “gay agenda?”

  • chuck martel

Predicting the climate is, of course, impossible, even with sophisticated computer models that attempt to take into account human effects on the atmosphere. Ultimately, the predictions are meant to further political and financial agendas that are unrelated to reality. Curiously, there’s another phenomenon that will be even more destructive to at least some societies and whose numbers aren’t in dispute by anyone. This is the decreasing fertility of much of the world’s population. Presently only semi-popular writers like Mark Steyn and David P. Goldman stress the consequences of rapidly declining birth rates but their numbers are irrefutable and their interpretations of those numbers are logical. Many now alive will see population numbers in some of the most advanced parts of the world crash dramatically. At this point, there is no remedy to this situation. Some observers may even feel that this is a positive development. They are wrong. Nevertheless, it seems odd that there’s been so little public discussion of the matter.

    • Danny B

Chuck, I posted here at the Bell that eventually, birth control would be illegal,,, unless one could fail an IQ test.

  • Here is a question, perhaps for FauxScienceSlayer. This winter, the ‘polar vortex’ makes the news. But a polar low pressure area ‘vortex’ is normal. What is not normal is that this low pressure area is broken up into 5 or 6 ‘vortices’, migrated southward around the artic circle. These perturb the jet stream causing it to fluctuate wildly north and south. The question is: why are these unusually multiple, low pressure areas ‘polar vortices’ geo-stationary?

  • Siegfried

Electric Universe theorists hypothesize that the fluctuations in the electric circuit between the Earth and the Sun are a primary driver in the most extreme weather phenomenons (hurricanes, tornadoes, typhoons) as well as probably earthquakes and volcanic activity. You may start here if you want but the whole subject is very interesting. If you read the TPODS of this website, you will find many mentions of documented high electrical activity surrounding tornadoes, earthquakes, etc.

Since HAARP deals with the ionosphere (where auroras happen), and thus the electrically conductive low density plasma layer surrounding our planet, it always occurred to me that those in charge of it take the electrical nature of these phenomenons much more seriously that current mainstream science does.

    • Thanks. We have written numerous articles on the electric universe over a number of years. Just search for “Daily Bell” and “electric universe.”

Re: “Again, we understand the above constitutes a kind of “loony talk””

My disbelief in weather manipulation stems from the same source as my disbelief in global warming. I don’t see it. My looney cousin (the aliens are trying to save us) sees “chemtrails” and says that they make her ill. I have never seen “chemtrail” patterns and I spend a lot of time outdoors working in the garden and hanging out down by the river during the summer and cutting firewood during the winter. I’ve seen Internet pictures of crosshatched contrails but I have no reason to belief that they represent anything other than the results of aircraft stacking at major air terminals. I find such images no more convincing in regard to “chemtrails” than I find pictures of polar bears on ice flows (which is where one might naturally expect to find polar bears) to be indicative of global warming.

On the other hand I can see the results of monetary manipulation, government intervention and militarization both in the media and in my own life. It is up to AGW proponents and those who fear HAARP to provide empirical evidence in the same way that Ron Paul, Daniel Ellsberg and Edward Snowden provided evidence to back up the claims they made.

    • Ellsberg and Snowden were likely false flags. As for HAARP … let the government open up the facility to qualified, concerned citizens. If you are correct, what do they have to fear?

      • Darren

Re: ” If you are correct, what do they have to fear?”

As I said. ” It is up to AGW proponents and those who fear HAARP to provide empirical evidence in the same way that Ron Paul, Daniel Ellsberg and Edward Snowden provided evidence to back up the claims they made.” If the government really is spraying chemical substances all over the nation then surely you can come up with a sample or find someone else who can.

Re: “Ellsberg and Snowden were likely false flags”

If Ellsberg and Snowden are moles then Ron Paul is at the very least a fool if not a mole himself as he has spoken favorably about those men on numerous occasions. Snowden and Ellsberg pass the “I can see it” test not only in regard to their claims about militarization and surveillance but in regard to themselves and their own character as well. They provided documentation that proved what had been called conspiracy theories thus indicating to me that they are the real deal. Why should your undocumented conjecture about Ellsberg’s and Snowden’s motives carry greater weight with me than the empirical evidence which those men have provided?

        • You are an empiricist. Modern Western institutions generally claim to value empirical conclusions above all else. Unfortunately, such empiricism has brought us Keynesianism and other irrational disciplines. The Internet has revealed significant patterns of government deceit that obviously continue today. You want empirical evidence. We trust our eyes. And in the US, given its constitution, it certainly should be enough for citizens to demand an accounting without having to prove official criminality in advance. A government should be accountable to its people. You have it reversed.

          • Darren

Re: “Unfortunately, such empiricism has brought us Keynesianism and other irrational disciplines.”

Not at all. The empirical evidence proves that Keynesian policies exist solely to benefit bankers and the spendthrift governments which they serve while having a detrimental effect on the economy as a whole. I read an interview just yesterday here at the DB in which the interviewee presented empirical data in the form of numerous contradictory quotes from the General Theory which showed Keynes to be a confused theorist and not a empiricist at all.

Re: “You want empirical evidence. We trust our eyes.”

You seem to be confused about what the word “empirical” means: Trusting ones eyes and trusting in empirical data are one in the same thing. The definition reads: “empirical: adjective, based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic.”

Re: “A government should be accountable to its
            people. You have it reversed.”

That’s fine but I should not be expected to accept your inability to enter a so-called HAARP facility as proof of anything other than that you are unable to enter that facility. If, for example,I suggested that elves live in the Oval Office I can not reasonably expect others to believe that assertion simply because I have not been granted access to the Oval Office.

As I said above, if the government is spraying tons of chemicals outdoors in sight of anyone and everyone why not obtain a sample, document the evidential trail, produce lab reports on the sample and present that evidence in a public forum?

          • Definition of emprical …” Empirical evidence (also empirical data, sense experience, empirical knowledge, or the a posteriori) is a source of knowledge acquired by means of observation or experimentation.” – Wikipedia

It is very easy to gather “empirical evidence” later proven false. The Higgs Bosun is one such item that is currently considered to be empirically researched and yet its composition and presence are highly questionable when one considers the valid proposals for an electrical universe.

The pyramids contained dead pharaohs: Empirical information shows us this is so (coffins, etc.) And yet the empirical evidence may be incomplete; or it may not mean what we think it means. Pyramids may have been built for other reasons.

“We trust our eyes.” We trust the patterns we discern, especially when reading Internet information over decades. The patterns that are noted are eventually predictable, and indeed we CAN predict them and have. Thus our paradigm and our observations prove superior to “empirical” or observable evidence elucidated within the context of modern scientific methodologies.

To be clear: “Empirical” is often used in connection with the results of scientific research and we believe that in this day and age, given the corruption of science (see global warming) that our THEORIES drawn from patterns we observe are superior to evidence drawn from implementation of the scientific method in isolation.

          • Darren

And yet none of that is stopping you from obtaining a “chemtrail” sample, documenting the evidential trail, obtaining a laboratory test of the sample and presenting the findings in a public forum. Why forgo the most effective method of proving your point? In the end your argument is no more persuasive than the elves in the Oval Office example which I provided above. Those who want to believe in those elves will do so despite the lack of evidence and some will perversely insist that the lack of evidence actually proves the point.

It’s fortunate that Mises, Rothbard, Paul, etc, have taken the time to fully document their assertions regarding economics and government because if they had simply made the rounds stating that they knew such things to be true but they couldn’t be bothered to provide any proof then the liberty movement would not have the vitality it does today.

          • Incredible. The article did not in any sense dwell on chemtrails, yet you keep bringing up this point. It did focus on HAARP, and there is no way to gather samples of HAARP as it is a program not a product. For an empiricist, you are extraordinarily unobservant. Or perhaps a troll. We’ve been visited by several today.

          • Darren

It’s true that you did not mention “chemtrails” but from what I have seen (empirical evidence) HAARP theories and “chemtrails” theories often go hand in hand. It would have been helpful if you had disavowed any belief in “chemtrails” when I first asked you about them. Please note, however, that the hard evidence available for HAARP causing climactic changes is exactlty the same as the evidence for “chemtrails” causing climactic changes: it doesn’t esist. Therefore by your own criteria (hard evidence is not to be trusted but finding undocumented references to something on the Internet constitutes proof) then you should logically believe in “chemtrails” as well.

If for some reason you don’t believe in “chemtrails” that doesn’t preclude you from obtaining other hard evidence showing that HAARP causes climactic changes. Anything capable of causing such changes would certainly leave a trail of evidence which would be available outside the confines of any inaccessible HAARP facilities. Can you produce any such evidence?

            Re: “Or perhaps a troll.”

Well at least you didn’t claim that I must be paid to post here by Mossad, so you’ve got that going for you, which is nice. Frankly, I’m surprised by the inconsistency between this article and most others on DB which provide demonstrable, real world examples of the ideas under discussion. If I didn’t find most of the material at DB to be compelling and persuasive I wouldn’t waste my time reading it.

            Thanks for the discussion. :

          • Darren, there are many”weather change” patents that have been filed – at least in the US. This article (link below) and many other like it can provide considerable evidence of an active program to “design” the weather.

In 2010 Dr Vermeeren, of the Delft University of Technology, presented a 300-page scientific report entitled, “CASE ORANGE: Contrail Science, Its Impact on Climate and Weather Manipulation Programs Conducted by the United States and Its Allies.”

His conclusion: “[O]ur investigation team comes to the conclusion that climate control programs, controlled by the military but approved by governments, are silently implemented in order to avoid the worst case scenarios they obviously do not want. The two basic instruments are temperature control through generation of artificial clouds and manipulation of the ionosphere through ionosphere heaters.

“Both remain basically military combat systems with the option to go into the offensive if deemed necessary. However since several ionosphere heaters are installed on various places around the globe one can assume that there is wide cooperation between governments in order to reach the climate targets by 2025: controlling the weather and thus the planet.”

Here is the larger Global Research article:

Simply by using a search engine you can find a good deal of scientific and academic reporting on this important issue. For someone who seems to be so academically inclined, your refusal to type in a search phrase – and thus find most if not all of your argument addressed – is puzzling indeed.

          • Darren

Re: “. For some who seems to be so academically inclined, your refusal to type in a search phrase – and thus find most if not all of your argument refuted – is puzzling indeed.”

It’s less puzzling than your previous assertion that science can’t be trusted and your admonishment to me for harping on “chemtrails” (pun intended) later followed by a link to a site purporting to scientifically examine widespread geo-engineering in an article titled, “Atmospheric Geoengineering: Weather Manipulation, Contrails and Chemtrails.”

But we’ve gone full circle and can return to my original statement that I can not believe in either global warming or widespread geo-engineering masked as global warming because I don’t see any evidence of climate change as I go about my life. There are occasions when the weather is unseasonably warm or unseasonably cold but the word “unseasonably” wouldn’t exist if such phenomenon were not to be expected at times.

In a previous DB article entitled, “Edward Snowden: Dialectic Piñata,” the author posited that Snowden is a fake because, “knowingly or not – Snowden has come to represent one side of a dialectic that is actually supporting the surveillance abuses he claims to oppose.” It seems to me that those who say that CO2 engendered global warming doesn’t exist because climate change is really caused by HAARP and/or chemtrails represent one side of the dialectic that the Earth is indeed plagued by extreme weather which has never before existed. But from what I can see the weather is just the weather. It doesn’t matter to me why the Henny Pennys of the world believe that the sky is falling. They can argue about it all day. The fact is that the sky is exactly where it’s supposed to be.

          • “It is less puzzling than your previous assertion that science can’t be trusted.”

            You’ve got to be kidding.

Just search for “science cannot be trusted.” You’ll come up with thousands of cites and many telling scenarios. Modern science has been terribly degraded by the power elite in their determination to further globalism.

          • Darren

Re: “You’ve got to be kidding.”

You’ve missed my point. I was suggesting that your assertion that science can’t be trusted followed by your attempt to defend the science of “chemtrails” seemed disingenuous.

But let’s stop beating around the bush and cut to the chase — do you or do you not believe that the Earth is being plagued by extreme weather the like of which has never before existed? Because, to tell you the truth, I just don’t see it.

          • You are obviously not making a distinction between “Court-approved” mainstream science and science that is aimed at debunking mainstream scientific memes.

As far as your question is concerned, we can only answer that question with ones of our own. Why are there so many “weather control” patents and so much reporting about the “military applications” of weather manipulation? And why all the defensiveness about HAARP? Who is hiding what … and why?

          • Darren

Re: “Why are there so many “weather control” patents and so much reporting
about the “military applications” of weather manipulation? And why all
the defensiveness about HAARP? Who is hiding what … and why?”

I can’t answer that but if government officials are attempting to create unprecedented, extreme weather conditions across the globe then it would appear that they are as incompetent in that area as they are in so many others. ‘Cuz it ain’t workin’.

          • “‘Cuz it ain’t workin'”.

            Comforting you think so …

          • Darren

            Climate alarmism is so 1990s.

          • Don’t forget ENMOD, the treaty that bans weather warfare. Geneva May 1977. And the question of why is the military running HAARP if it is a research facility.

          • PatrickHenry1789

My money would be on he’s a troll. A smug, smarmy one at that.

If chemtrails are real then this should be very easy to prove.

Using your words, open Fort Knox and let us see the gold…

(I am not saying it is not true what you claim, but chemtrails is something that should be easy to prove and so far I have not seen anything yet)

Guess we are not allowed to challenge you or we are called trolls.

For your info: i enjoy the articles here, they have definitely opened up my eyes at a time I was still part of the braindead sheeple.
And as much as I distrust governments and mainstream media, i also continuously keep challenging any kind of info even if I feel that it might be true.
As Gerald Celente says: inform, read contrary point of views and think for yourself.

You should be glad that your audience is thinking for themselves and asking rightful questions, without attacking you (again, I am on your side in most opinions, definitely not a troll).
Apparently we are supposed to have an opinion when aligned with yours but not challenge our won facts and opinions.

I am a subscriber to jim Willie’s newsletter, but I do not believe everyhting he claims.
The big difference is that he replies in a normal, intelligent and factual manner to questions I ask, instead of calling us trolls when we challenge him.

            You could learn from that.

          • Interesting. Where did we call you a troll? You seem to be attacking us for something we didn’t do. It is the repetitive hostility that we have difficulty with. People who come here and flat-out lie about Austrian economics or free-market analyses. And do it repetitively, 10 or 20 or even 50 times in a single thread. But surely you are nothing like them.

          • Not paying taxes

You were refering to your reply below so I assumed it was meant for me, too.

And I am not hostile. If you read my remarks in the correct way, i am complimenting the articles here and agreeing with most of your and others’ opinions,

I have a problem with your immediate hostility to people challenging you.

I also wonder where you read my lies about Austrian economics.

            Anyway, let’s agree to disagree.

Looking forward to future articles, but don’t get upset if I ask a question 🙂

          • Immediate hostility? We didn’t call you a troll. We didn’t even accuse you of lying about Austrian economics. So why the accusations? Glad you read DB. Feel free to ask questions anytime.

          • Not paying taxes

OK, no issues, guess I misinterpreted the reference to the other reply then.

          • OK.

Just open your eyes and look up. You will see the spraying. Will you acknowledge it? That is another question.

          • 45clive

            It has been done.

Geo-engineering is the official name for weather modification, which is only a part of what geo-engineering is all about. What is being sprayed? Off the chart quantities of Aluminum, along with barium and strontium. Monsanto and others are now selling GMO seeds that are resistant to these metals, which kill not only plants but are extremely nasty for humans and other animals.

Electro Magnetic Radiation is also an environmental hazard.,

Extensive soil sampling has been done. The spraying is a fact. I’m sorry you have been conditioned to believe the silvery white skies of today are normal. Please reference for empirical evidence.

“We trust our eyes.” Indeed, the vikings were growing wine grapes and beer hops in Greenland 1300 years ago – back when Greenland was actually much more green! Lower CO2 in the atmosphere back then, yet how were the temperatures so mild? The elephant in the room: THE SUN!!

      • Hugo

I read quite a few references on the internet to a Pentagon paper from beginning of the 1990 era ”Controlling the global weather by 2025”. Even though I did not look into it, maybe interesting to do for the DB.

      • undrgrndgirl

“ellsberg and snowden are…false flags”? please explain.

        • There are plenty of whistle blowers that get little press and are in fact threatened with prosecution or actually prosecuted. But Snowden and Ellsberg – like Assange – received tremendous press attention … and even adulation. This kind of coverage is usually not afforded unless those in charge of the mainstream media are providing it as part of a larger promotion.

Have you got any information regarding HAARP’s possible applications to weather modification?

I’m getting beat up over on another thread (most likely my own fault) trying to see if anybody can direct me to at least some clue as to the mechanism of action of an ionospheric heater like HAARP in the context of weather modification.

I can’t find any evidence of how HAARP or HAARP-like technology might be used to directly, verifiably modify weather, even though I’m trying to find it.

Those who promote the idea that weather control is a capability of HAARP and HAARP-like sites like EISCAT seem to make a huge leap, between heating a few cubic miles of ionospheric space (containing very few actual physical particles per cubic centimeter) by a few degrees with changing the temperature of orders-of-magnitude larger and more dense tropospheric air parcels at least hundreds of miles away. As yet, I’ve seen no credible mechanism of action, but I’m open to any evidence that might be revealed.

Do I think the elites would like to modify the weather? Sure I do! Do I believe they can do it? Not without at least a shred of evidence pointing towards a scientifically coherent writeup on how such technology would actually work.

To put it in perspective, if a megawatt-class RF phased array could somehow force terawatts or more energy into a parcel of tropospheric air remote from the site, it would be analogous to a death-ray. In theory the same technology could use those terawatts of directed energy to level cities remote from the HAARP site by coupling the energy controlled into solid objects rather than air or water-vapor.

As for the HAARP secrecy angle, if Jesse Ventura had been allowed access, and to wander around the HAARP site unmolested, it wouldn’t make a very good bit of television. Is there any other strong evidence of HAARP secrecy besides that single TV show?

If the specs of the actual site are to be believed, it would definitely be possible for Radio amateurs to construct a similar device, just as it was possible for amateur rocketry people to fly to the edges of space on a shoestring budget. As far as I’m aware, there are no laws in any country prohibiting amateurs from interacting with the Earth’s ionosphere. HAMS do it all the time.

      • Here’s something. We can’t vouch for the website but the article seems to provide at least informed speculation …

        The Military’s Pandora’s Box

by Dr. Nick Begich and Jeane Manning

This article was prepared to provide a summary of the contents of a book written in 1995 which describes an entirely new class of weapons. The weapons and their effects are described in the following pages. The United States Navy and Air Force have joined with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, to build a prototype for a ground based “Star Wars” weapon system located in the remote bush country of Alaska.

The individuals who are demanding answers about HAARP are scattered around the planet. As well as bush dwellers in Alaska, they include: a physician in Finland; a scientist in Holland; an anti-nuclear protester in Australia; independent physicists in the United States; a grandmother in Canada, and countless others.

Unlike the protests of the 1960s the objections to HAARP have been registered using the tools of the 1990s. From the Internet, fax machines, syndicated talk radio and a number of alternative print mediums the word is getting out and people are waking up to this new intrusion by an over zealous United States government.

The research team put together to gather the materials which eventually found their way into the book never held a formal meeting, never formed a formal organization. Each person acted like a node on a planetary info-spirit-net with one goal held by all — to keep this controversial new science in the public eye. The result of the team’s effort was a book which describes the science and the political ramifications of this technology.

That book, Angels Don’t Play this HAARP: Advances in Tesla Technology, has 230 pages. This article will only give the highlights. Despite the amount of research (350 footnoted sources), at its heart it is a story about ordinary people who took on an extraordinary challenge in bringing their research forward.

        HAARP Boils the Upper Atmosphere

HAARP will zap the upper atmosphere with a focused and steerable electromagnetic beam. It is an advanced model of an “ionospheric heater.” (The ionosphere is the electrically-charged sphere surrounding Earth’s upper atmosphere. It ranges between 40 to 60 miles above the surface of the Earth.)

Put simply, the apparatus for HAARP is a reversal of a radio telescope; antenna send out signals instead of receiving. HAARP is the test run for a super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere by focusing a beam and heating those areas. Electromagnetic waves then bounce back onto earth and penetrate everything — living and dead.

HAARP publicity gives the impression that the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program is mainly an academic project with the goal of changing the ionosphere to improve communications for our own good. However, other U.S. military documents put it more clearly — HAARP aims to learn how to “exploit the ionosphere for Department of Defense purposes.” Communicating with submarines is only one of those purposes.

Press releases and other information from the military on HAARP continually downplay what it could do. Publicity documents insist that the HAARP project is no different than other ionospheric heaters operating safely throughout the world in places such as Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Tromso, Norway, and the former Soviet Union. However, a 1990 government document indicates that the radio-frequency (RF) power zap will drive the ionosphere to unnatural activities.

” … at the highest HF powers available in the West, the instabilities commonly studied are approaching their maximum RF energy dissipative capability, beyond which the plasma processes will ‘runaway’ until the next limiting factor is reached.”

If the military, in cooperation with the University of Alaska Fairbanks, can show that this new ground-based “Star Wars” technology is sound, they both win. The military has a relatively-inexpensive defense shield and the University can brag about the most dramatic geophysical manipulation since atmospheric explosions of nuclear bombs. After successful testing, they would have the military megaprojects of the future and huge markets for Alaska’s North Slope natural gas.

Looking at the other patents which built on the work of a Texas’ physicist named Bernard Eastlund, it becomes clearer how the military intends to use the HAARP transmitter. It also makes governmental denials less believable. The military knows how it intends to use this technology, and has made it clear in their documents. The military has deliberately misled the public, through sophisticated word games, deceit and outright disinformation.

Wow! Thanks DB! This is pretty good info!

I guess a key for opening up this supposed secrecy would be to determine exactly when the thing is in use, and in what mode.

This might sound more advanced than it could be in practice.

Looking at the antenna design, I’m happy to say that the equipment to monitor it (or the antenna’s sidelobes when it is broadcasting) is well within the grasp of any competent HAM. Or perhaps a somewhat less-than-competent HAM like me!

Given the topology, it should be possible to “listen in” on at least the fundamental radiation pattern coming from those antennas. In fact, given the wattage they command, in the megawatt class, it should even be possible to do it from Australia, when the band is in.

And this is backed up by fact; a HAM operator has published that, as of ca. Oct 2, 2013, they were broadcasting again, right in the band where Wikipedia says they do.

“For over a week now, I have been hearing the HAARP signal back on the shortwave bands. The facility was shut down back in May and the signals have been absent, but last Monday I heard the HAARP signal loud and clear on 2.844 mhz, 4.284 mhz, and 6.690 mhz. The signals were strong – S9 + 40 to 60 db (that’s wicked loud). The HAARP official informational website is still down. The signals are still there right now, so the government shutdown has not affected operations. The big question is, who’s running it now? I had read that a government contractor was going to take over operations but never found out who that would be. If anyone has any info on that, please share it. I have some recordings I will upload if I can figure out how to do it.”

I had an inkling that they used HAM types when they were initially commissioning the thing, to verify propagation and so forth. They did do that. I learn that the base frequencies (rather than the other frequencies induced by interacting with the massive electric circuit known as the Van Allen Belts) are well known, published, and monitored.

More than one HAM claims to have been listening to HAARP for years, and because the government has published most if not all of the technical details, and the physical location is known, it’s very hard to hide whether it’s “on” or “off”. This is good news indeed.

Better news is that I’ve got some old HF equipment looking for righteous use. Maybe this is the righteous use it was intended for.

I guess the short of it is that a megawatt class RF beacon pointed at a gigantic RF mirror in the sky which connects the entire globe together is something that is very hard to hide.

Note that it’s commonly used to “pump” a virtual ELF/VLF antenna which is made out of the conductive parts of the ionosphere. Another interesting project would be to attempt to receive those induced signals, although, since a “proper” antenna for such a thing might be thousands of miles long, depending on the band used, a better way is probably to look for its footprints in the magnetic spectrum.
Since magnetic fields don’t tend to vibrate far away from power transmission lines, and since the frequency of power transmission is fairly constant worldwide, any other magnetic field vibrations should be easier to locate.

The other good news is that there’s no moratorium on someone playing with ionospheric heating themselves. HAMS inadvertently heat the ionosphere by minute amounts on a daily basis.

          Thanks again, DB!

This is a good website on the directed climate change
It’s no longer a question of if! We need to just keep educating people even if they think we are Conspiracy Theory Nuts. I just cant believe how many people are oblivious . We are living in interesting times.

    • Judy Cross

The problem with the site is that Wiggington pushes the Global Warming meme taking it to further lunacy by declaring that we risk a huge release of methane from the (no longer melting) Arctic. Just keep that in mind. While decrying geo-engineering in the skies, he supports the cover story.

    • Chemist

The other problem with that site is the gentleman in charge seems to improperly assign this huge role that microscopic nucleation particles have on being able to change or otherwise modify the freezing point of water, analogous to anti-freeze. I even contacted him with a very gentle, non-condescending, but factual email on the topic.

Nothing could be further from the truth. You need a pretty significant percentage of diluent in order to change the melting/freezing properties of water, and 0.001% of barium or aluminum sulfate isn’t going to do that. Chemist here, BTW.

  • Jim Kluttz

I don’t doubt that there are people who would change the climate to the detriment of everybody but them. It is difficult to believe, however, that those same people would change the climate to their own detriment. Anyone messing with the climate can’t possibly know what they are doing. They could just as well wipe themselves out as obtain any other result.

    • Not paying taxes

Well, those same people are bringing the world on the brink of a nuclear war…

      • undrgrndgirl

        we’ve been there for 6 decades already…

    • Here you touch on the central thought behind all of the political, economic (and climate?) manipulations of the powerful: they think they can survive the coming conflagration. They think, in fact, that they can control the rampaging mobs of hungry Romans … er New Yorkers, etc …

That’s what the militarised police forces are for. That’s what the sonic weapons are for. That’s what the drones are for.

Control of dissent and suppression of revolt.

This time it really may be different. We have allowed them to build a system of total control of our information, our communication, our money, our employment, and etc.

There is no question that there are plans to use this system in ways we will not appreciate.

    • They’re building toward the one-world dictatorship and their one-man tyrant rule that has been their aspiration for centuries. Nothing surprising. The Great Leader image has been tried with some success in their view many times and places. Practice sessions they were.

Note on the climate thing that they put the outgoing leader of the biggest and worst most polluting nation on Earth in charge of a new climate activism organization, Green Cross, at one of the most hyped environmental gathering in recent decades, the one in Rio.

Climate hysteria has one purpose: add to the popular panic to cultivate demands that the powerful get more power. They don’t care about the pollution or climate damage, they don’t worry about it, they’ll think about it later.

Anyway it fits in with their plans to depopulate the globe.

I say everyone should look to the storm that hit the northeast in the fall of 2011. Obama, with an odd grin, as if he was quite excited, toured areas in NJ to look at the devastation, the havoc wreaked. Exactly one year later, exactly, another storm bore down upon the northeast. Superstorm Sandy. And guess who showed up? Within a week of the election. Hmmmmm…….and this fall, a reporter, lapdog media guy, asks the man posing as president, when so many scandals etc. were brewing……”will you be following the storms this season”. Probably not the exact words, but along that line. And I thought, how weird. Where in the world would that question come from, unless of course he was given that question to ask, knowing what was planned for the winter ahead.

  • CrusaderImperial

Your prior information on “directed history” dovetails nicely with “directed weather”. We’re all just along for the ride. Fundamentally until the “power elite” are gone or exposed for who they are, this will continue. Today we are still able to read articles like this online and form an opinion. Who knows how long the internet revolution will continue unhindered?

i thought haarp might be able to influence weather…until this year’s year of unprecedented drought in california, i just can’t fathom they’d let the bread and, more importantly, the tech/surveillance basket of the country/world dry up and blow away.

There are claims that the VERY persistent high pressure zone off of California was created to block a lot of incoming radiation from Fukushima. Dunno

Great article DB, see another great article on ZeroHedge. The Art of Deception, Training for a New Generation of Online Covert Operation. Agents Infiltrate Websites.

  • Just like the voodoo science in the Day After Tomorrow movie, which had super-cold stratospheric air freezing people at ground level, the air up there is so thin that, whether one heated it or cooled it, there wouldn’t be enough to make a difference. One can sit in a sauna at 100 degrees Celsius without being scalded, since air is so much less dense than water. The HAARP alarmists need to provide some scientific evidence of its supposed power.

    • It is surely reasonable to ask for some transparency regarding HAARP facilities. When it comes to the Anglosphere’s military-industrial complex why is any level of concern alarmist? And why is it incumbent on US citizens to provide an acceptable recitation of suspicious activity before being allowed to investigate these super secret facilities. If it is merely weather research, why all the sensitivity?

Government Documents Link Global Warming to Advanced Military Climate Modification Technology

NASA Documents reveal the mission of the military and federal agencies to modify the climate.

It’s unacceptable that the UN/IPCC continue to push CO2 as the cause for climate change but refuse to acknowledge the military has been actively engaged in Climate Warming Weapons Technologies for more than 20 years.

In traditional Hegelian guise various Aerosol “cooling” strategies have been synchronized, churned and covertly propagated on the human psyche. The solution however is the problem; that’s why we have a problem in the first place. – Inflection Point

Global Warming, Climate Change Or Something Else?

Should the real question be Global warming or global governance?

In 1991 the ‘Malthusian’ Club of Rome (a UN advisory think tank) produced a paper called “The First Global Revolution” In the report (p. 104) you will find the following statement:

“In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill…. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”

Again: “it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome.”

California is under the influence of a
persistent upper-level ridge of high pressure anchored off its north
coast that has kept the region generally warm, dry and clear.

four miles high and 2,000 miles long, is to blame for the emerging
drought as the mass of high air pressure has been blocking Pacific
winter storms from coming ashore and bringing much needed to bring rain
    to the parched West Coast.

mass of high air pressure has been blocking Pacific winter storms from
coming ashore in California, pushing them into Alaska and British
Columbia – it is even responsible for rain and cold weather to the East

high-pressure zones pop up all the time during most winters, but they
usually break down, allowing rain to get through to California.

duration of its presence – 13 months – is unprecedented in modern
weather records and puzzling researchers – it has been named the
    ‘ridiculously resilient ridge.’

The latest and greatest from the weather controllers (copied from my local paper, not found on Internet):
Washington DC – AP: “Warming pattern likely to alter weather” – Relief may be on the way for a weather-weary U.S. with the predicted warming of the central Pacific Ocean brewing this year that will likely change weather world-wide. But it won’t be for the better everywhere.
The warming, called an El Nino, is expected to lead to fewer Atlantic hurricanes and more rain next winter for drought-stricken California and southern states, and even a milder winter for the nation’s frigid northern tier next year, meterologists say.
The National Oceanic Atmospheric and Admistration – – issued an official El Nino watch Thursday – An El Nino is a warming of the central Pacific once every few years. It shakes up climate around the world, changing rain and temperature patterns.
