How Everything is Racist, And You’re a Terrible Person
By The Daily Bell Staff - September 29, 2017

Everything you do and think is racist, you probably just don’t realize it because you’re so super privileged.

You can’t just sit back and hide in your white supremacist neighborhoods anymore. There’s no more abstaining from taking a side on this one. The sins of your ancestors have caught up to you! (Or at least the sins of the ancestors of people who look like you, considering most white Americans are descended from post-Civil War immigrants.)

You may think that standing for the national anthem is a normal thing to do. You may have even gone on standing for the national anthem, ignoring the rest of the controversy surrounding the NFL. But it turns out that behaving in a standard traditional fashion is racist.

Yep, it’s the old, “you’re either with us or against us,” philosophy. You cannot sit out this manufactured controversy. The Huffington Post says that when you stand, you stand for white supremacy. For white people, the anthem represents freedom. White Americans are full citizens, and black Americans–especially extremely successful millionaire athletes–are second class citizens.

You probably just didn’t know that because your life has been lived in a bubble of white privilege. It’s okay, you didn’t know any better. But you’re still a terrible person. You should give your house away to a black family, since “You’re bound to make that money in some other white privileged way.”

Oh, Dr. Suess is also racist, by the way.

And here’s another way we know that President Trump is racist. His wife actually sent 10 Dr. Suess books to a school in Massachusetts. Can you believe it? That’s like, ten times the racism!

Luckily, the librarian at the school knew that the books were racist, and rejected them. She wrote Mrs. Trump a letter to explain her white supremacist folly.

Another fact that many people are unaware of is that Dr. Seuss’s illustrations are steeped in racist propaganda, caricatures, and harmful stereotypes. Open one of his books (If I Ran a Zoo or And to Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street, for example), and you’ll see the racist mockery in his art. Grace Hwang Lynch’s School Library Journal article, “Is the Cat in the Hat Racist? Read Across America Shifts Away from Dr. Seuss and Toward Diverse Books,” reports on Katie Ishizuka’s work analyzing the minstrel characteristics and trope nature of Seuss’s characters. Scholar Philip Nel’s new book, Was the Cat in the Hat Black? The Hidden Racism of Children’s Literature, and the Need for Diverse Books, further explores and shines a spotlight on the systemic racism and oppression in education and literature.

Thought those were just innocent cartoon images? Think again!

I mean it’s so obvious that Dr. Suess was a racist. He clearly thought star-bellied Sneetches were better than plain-bellied Sneetches. They were so privileged walking around with those stars on their bellies. And then, when the plain-bellied Sneetches started acting all star-bellied, the privileged star-bellied Sneetches culturally appropriated the plain-bellied Sneetches’ style!

The point of the story certainly wasn’t that a third party came into town and exploited the natural differences of the Sneetches for personal profit! Dr. Suess couldn’t have been calling attention to the fact that people will seek to exploit divisions in society for their own motives.

So nice try attempting to sit this one out! Unless you swear fealty to demolishing white privilege, then you are racist. And don’t try to end any race problems in your own way! It has to be through government intervention, and acquiescence to the demands of Black Lives Matter. If you do nothing, you are racist.

You don’t have to play by the rules of the corrupt politicians, manipulative media, and brainwashed peers.

I now see the Daily Bell has descended into sophistry.

    • northernraven

Tsk, tsk, George! Without an explanation, that’s nothing more than name-calling.

      • georgesilver

Look the word up you’ll find it in the dictionary…. sorry you do know what a dictionary is don’t you? Not the original meaning but the meaning used these days.
ps. I was also going to use obfuscation and flummery to describe this piece but that would be too much praise.

        • davidnrobyn

          Strike two, George.

        • Col. Edward H. R. Green

You will not find “encephalo-anal inversion” in any dictionary; nevertheless, it properly designates the “thinking” that you have so far exhibited in your replies.

        • Tim Morgan

You keep using that WORD… ‘obfuscation’, as if you’re attempting to throw us off… you know, muddy the water, so to speak. Gotta get up pretty early in the morning if ya wanna pull that on ME, buster. he he. Stick with sophistry, I was a sophistry myself once, in high school. Spent 3 of the happiest years of my life as one, ya know.

      • sleat

Raven, raven, anyone can see, especially georgesilver, that if a person doesn’t understand his one-line claim, without any further explanation, or example, then they’re obviously stupid (and probably racist as well).

He’ll never explain the point he was trying to make, since it’s not his job to pander to, and reward such stupidity, by withholding his derision, and helping to eradicate it with clarity and logic.

Making a bold assertion and then attacking anyone who questions it is just his way of loving the world at large.

        • Col. Edward H. R. Green

I regard bare assertions like Georgie’s as nothing more than verbal sharts.

  • The protests in all their forms are supposedly being done to end police brutality. So the protestors should ask themselves what police protection would look like in order for the protestors to believe police brutality has ended?

The police have a job that is sometimes brutal – either justifiably or not justifiably. It’s hard to throw a man to the ground gently, and yet throwing the perp down is often the only viable option.

So is there a scenario for the protests to end or is this just another BLM/Soros funded attempt to destroy American values and most particularly to ginn up racial violence and discchord?

    • nathenism

sounds like you have been sheltered from cops all your life and don’t know that they are society’s biggest criminals…they have been on a perpetual crime spree for decades and deserve all the hate they get

      • If by “sheltered” you mean I obey the law and follow instructions when stopped, you’re right.

It’s pretty rare for the police to throw someone to the ground who is following their instructions, even though the police are faced with hair trigger decisions and can feel on edge a lot of the time.

Meanwhile, your attempt to distract from the issue of this fake protest is well noted. It’s purpose is to justify racism against white people and to undermine the ideals this country stands for.

People like you will never be satisfied and will always feel justified for taking a knee. There is no scenario where police behavior is acceptable because there will always be an example to point to where a police officer didn’t meet your standards.

In many cases – although not all – subsequent video and/or evidence reveals the police officers acted appropriately. Never is there praise from people like you for when the police do a good job. Your type reserve your outrage for the police and bend over backwards to root for the criminal.

FYI, the biggest violent criminals on the streets are in such places as Chicago, East St. Louis, Baltimore and many other inner cities. It’s a way of life. It’s so bad the good residents of these places are afraid to report what they see: “Snitches get stitches!” This results in utter lawlessness.

        • Col. Edward H. R. Green

“People like you will never be satisfied and will always feel justified for taking a knee.”

FYI, “taking a knee”, for whatever reason, is a speech act that is expressive of the individual right to freedom of thought, speech, and conscience, one of the many expressions of individual liberty and freedom that this country USED to stand for.

          • In this case it’s ignoramuses, half of whom couldn’t correctly answer the question of when the Civil War started. They are useful idiots. Not one of them could answer the question if asked, “When will you be satisfied enough to get off your knee?” They don’t know – they have no clue. They are following along without the least bit of awareness.

So spare us the freedom of conscious claptrap you’re propounding.

These people are tools of George Soros. He wants race riots to help him profit in the currency futures market. Those fools think they are sticking it to the man when all they are doing is lining Soros’ pocket.

        • nathenism

its is a fact that every day cops assault, murder, rape and steal without consequences…you say it is rare for cops to attack people for no reason…you are dead wrong about that…this is your naive assumption based on your ignorance…this is why i called you sheltered, because you obviously are completely uninformed about what is taking place on the streets every day, outside of your comfy little bubble…BTW i have no hate for the police…i’m just realistic

      • Tim Morgan

Sounds like you’re myopic in your views, if not self serving. The fact of the matter is that cops are there primarily to protect their masters, the politicians. Ostensibly serving the public is mere ‘busy work’ that they perform as a means to justify the expense to taxpayers for their existence. Just as politicians collar their cushy and highly privileged positions through the expenditure of other people’s money, so they maintain their protection as well. Such protection will be quite necessary should they ever be held to account for the acts of criminality that they inflict upon the citizens that they profess to ‘represent’. Save your hate for people such as yourself and other fools of whom nevertheless march off to the polls every election cycle to lend your support for their criminal enterprise, all the while thinking; “oh, THIS one will be DIFFERENT, they really CARE!”, and of course when they invariable prove to be just as bad, if not worse than the last scoundrel, you’ll rush off to the voting booth to repeat the cycle, knowing in your infinite wisdom that this next one WILL be different, right?
Since the politicians and their enablers have been o a crime spree for the last few decades, why should their protectors not be on one as well? Meanwhile, you are the star of your own stupid victim story, give yourself a pat-on-the-head and a cookie, everyone else is too busy staring in their own to notice just how special you are.

        • nathenism

          i don’t hate cops and i don’t vote

          • Tim Morgan

Glad to hear that you don’t vote, and so I digress, and I lounge corrected. Surprised to hear that you don’t hate cops, however. I mean, WTF is there not to hate there? And please don’t tell me that they protect me, my .357 protects me, while they’re still busy copping a feel from a meter maid. When was the last time you saw a big assed motorcade and a marching band leading a funeral for a roofer? Say, for instance…. NEVER? Over 20 times more roofers die on the job than do ‘peace officers’, but we gotta do it up big when what is the revenue collectors we call cops bite the dust, now don’t we? At least a roofer provides the roof over your head and turns a profit for his employer while paying taxes. A cops produces nothing of any real value for the average, law abiding Joe and CONSUMES taxes rather than contribute. But no, I don’t hate cops either, per se. What I despise is the mindset of the cretins of whom gravitate towards those positions in the first place. When school is finally over, the schoolyard bully doesn’t just up and disappear, no he then goes on to become a badge fetishist and expects to be called OFFICER, while he’s got you pulled over to extort money from you. A bully’s paradise, no?

          • I do vote but I also speak out vehemently, with truth !

      • Barney Biggs

I have several experience with cops and except for one they have been very good. I stop when they tell me to, put my hands on the dash when they tell me to and have no problems. In fact on at least three occassions they have cut me some slack when they did not need to. I wonder what colour the sky is in your hate filled world?.

        • Col. Edward H. R. Green

Of course, you would also comply with surrendering a blood sample to them at a roadside checkpoint when they tell you to; hand over your cash to them when they tell you to; surrender your firearms to them when the barge into your home and tell you to at gunpoint.

How deep do you want your grave to be, the one that your “good” government “protectors will prepare you to occupy when they’re finished with you in your statist world ?

          • Barney Biggs

Probably I usually find that the ones who talk the biggest are the ones to roll first. Until you have looked down the barrel of a gun easy to be a hero.

      • Kind of a wide brush you are painting with there for trim work ?

No doubt we are seeing a police state that has been created. And it is all out of control in some ways. But not all of them are the bad guys. Some are just stupid and more than willing to go along with bad acts and get that pension ! But we see this all across the spectrum here in USA today, not just with police. The judicial system is also very corrupt as well as FBI and many other agencies. Nothing new at all.

    • It is all created very deliberately, Doc !

And we even know by who and why.

We are all racist now no matter what, even if you despise actual real racism ! FB, Google, Twitter and the rest of PRAVDA/MSM get to decide who and what are racist and you must comply, or ?

  • Truth4u

What is the Western world coming to? My goodness, in probably 1 generation – the West won’t be able to defend against any hostile threats of any significant size including NK as we will all act like Neville Chamberlain or Pollyannas to be fooled. We need to go back to the principles of the Bible and live them as righteously as possible! This humanism that is infecting our society is putrid.

    • dauden

Problem is, most people do try to live decent, honest lives be it Biblically covenanted under the Mosaic law or by common law. By this measure, peace will still not prevail over plane-t earth given the historical fact that some will always seek authority over others. If you studied the non-copyrighted bible, rightly divided (as instructed in 2 Tim 2:15 kjv), you would know what it is God is doing today under his mystery program (read Paul’s 13 epistles) as opposed to his prophetic program (the other 53 books). He is offering salvation by grace through faith alone (not by works lest anyone should boast) by the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross, i.e. trusting in His death, burial and resurrection to be made righteous. (I know this highly irritates some of you but it really is this simple.)

    • John Doe

Neville Chamberlin worked out a Peaceful Solution that all three sides were happy with and benefited from. The only side that was upset were the warmongers who were pushing for War and the profits generated along with their goals of world Govt.

    • Tim Morgan

Study the REAL history of Chamberlain. You’ve obviously swallowed the pablum of propaganda dished out by the (((warmongers))) of that era. Now call me an anti-semite if you must, just don’t call me Shirley.

  • Number 6

You have to ask yourself why did mrs trump or whatever her name is, send “Ten” Dr. Seuss’s books to some random school in the first place, book day or no book day, she hardly seems like the type now does she, and why did one of the recipients have this bizarre issue with it, this cant have been staged for some life sucking, media talking point to waste everyones time and cause as much division as possible could it ???? And I see the religious number pixies are at it again “Ten” reminds me of the Marilyn manson “say Ten” video featuring a depiction of Trump being beheaded, what do you suppose they’re hinting at ?

    • gomurr

A school from each state received the books to promote reading for children. It’s known as a nice gesture. What’s your problem with it?

      • Number 6

Nothing wrong with it in of itself, I just have a different understanding of politics and the media, my understanding is they manufacture events big and small to act as talking points to divide people, kind of like a pantomime, they’re just actors reading from a script as far as Im concerned, and I find this particular script rather silly.

        • gomurr

The media makes a story about anything related to the current administration. What do you suppose Ms Librarian’s intent was? Please.

          • Number 6

Who said she had any intent ? do actors have any intent when they read a script other than to get paid ?

        • Charles Barton

          Hegelian Dialectic…..

      • Col. Edward H. R. Green

Promoting reading in government propaganda indoctrination centers, i.e. public schools, is ultimately futile, given that their “teachers” are committed to producing “graduates” who are nearly functionally illiterate (as well as innumerate) and incapable of critical thinking and constructing a grammatically correct and properly punctuated sentence, let alone an essay, or a letter, or a book.

I rightfully do have a problem with Mrs. Trump’s gesture if she paid for those books, not at her own expense using money that she earned from her private sector transactions, but by using money that her husband’s employer robbed from everyone else via coercive taxation, a massive act of legalized theft, but theft nonetheless.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all that money stolen via coercive taxation was used to pay for those books, given that that is how the “schools” that received those books are funded.

        • gomurr

Yeah, and who paid for the schools to implement programs like this before Trump became president? Were you objecting then?

          • Col. Edward H. R. Green

If they were forcibly-funded (tax-funded), yes.

As for Trump, he is a statist who leans to the right. His Democrat “opponents” are statists who lean to the left.

I despise all statists and condemn their forcibly-funded programs, schools, agendas, etc. and demand such funding to stop.

The ends, e.g. reading programs, do not justify coercive means i.e., the legalized theft that is taxation, to accomplish them.

          • gomurr

Let’s see……50 states. ten books each @, say $10 each=$5,000. Get bent. With all the waste and corruption, you are objecting to $5,000 worth of books.

          • Col. Edward H. R. Green

I am objecting to $5000 being robbed from its rightful owners via coercive taxation, then allocated to the payment of thise books.

A little thievery is just as wrong as a lot more thievery in the form of coercively-funded waste and corruption.

Again, the ends, including “good” ends, do not justify the means.

Since you prefer to be as rude as an SJW in a university lecture hall or classroom (“Get bent.”) and apparently “think” that your rudeness makes you “right”, as you “think” the fists you likely throw at people who condemn you to your face for being supportive of theft make you “right”, you deserve no further response from me.

Look in the mirror, and repeat your rude advice to yourself, your only spectator and audience who is fool enough to take you seriously.

          • John Doe

So where do you stand on the 38 billion handed to israel?

    • Terry Seeker

“What ever her name is” You’re a moron! Anybody that can’t even use a search engine to get the story is a luddite and should not offer up any opinion on anything. Each of the last 5 First Ladies has promoted reading with Dr. Suess books – including Micheal Obama. First Lady Melania sent them to many libraries across the country. That’s what First Ladies do to increase awareness with a token gesture. They don’t build houses in poor neighborhoods. You won’t see her shoveling sand in Puerto Rico or squeegeeing mud in Texas from Harvey. that’s left for you to do, if you want to help.

  • Barney Biggs

Here is another racist piece. While driving through Wash State last week I listened to the radio. I think it was NPR.
They were say that recents Stats show that violent crime is up significantly starting in 2015 and that 20% of that crime is from the City of Chicago. Later I heard that in Chicago the bulk of he violent crime is in the South Side of Chicago (heard the song?)
Now doing a bit of checking and you find the bulk of the population in the South Side is black. It mostly black on Black violent crime. Damn those stats. You should be able to research those stats easily enough.

    • Col. Edward H. R. Green

“Bad, Bad Leroy Brown” was actually a white guy impersonating a black thug in order to incite violence amongst blacks residing in the South Side of Chicago.

      Yep, it’s always “whitey’s” fault.

      • Barney Biggs

Here IS something I do know. A buddy of mine decided to take his family and teach at schools in the south side of Chicago. Went fine for a year then his baby sitter was raped and the pharmacist at the corner was shot. He then decided that safety was more important than helping and left to California. Check the murder rate in the US and where it occurs these stats are all readily available to everybody.
I have no horse in the race and I am not even an American but
these folks who live on emotion are dangerous.

  • Shnarkle Von Barkle

As I have been made to understand, the librarian who disagreed with receiving the racists tomes has an image on one of her social media accounts where she is dressed as a Seuss book character. As everything else in this racist white priviledge rhetoric has panned out to be, this is just hypocrisy generated by the progressives because they sadly are not as important to everyone as the were before last November.

  • Number 6

Talking of racism and the media pushing the idea white people are racist (who owns the media again) theres a good video on youtube entitled

    “who dominated the slave trade”

Very eye opening turns out black people don’t blame white people at all, its the real culprits who blame white people.

    • Robert Jones

      Number 6,

If you continue this divisive, anti-social commentary, your cafeteria privileges will be revoked and you will be banned from group activities for the next month. In fact, we may have to limit your reading to Dr. Seuss, and the letter from that Massachusetts librarian.

      Number 2.

  • gomurr

You didn’t want the books because they came from the FLOTUS. Just be honest about it. We don’t need to hear your pseudo intellectual analysis designed to prove to yourself your’e superior to the FLOTUS.

      nailed it

  • Alan777

Very appropriate article for our times as the racist cultural marxist progressives frame every action by those who disagree as racist.

The sins of your ancestors have caught up to you! (Or at least the sins of the ancestors of people who look like you, considering most white Americans are descended from post-Civil War immigrants.) I’m wondering, how many US Blacks are descended from post-Civil War immigrants?

    • Col. Edward H. R. Green

      Indubitably, millions.

The question is: How many native US blacks would be courageous and respectful enough of reality to acknowledge that black chieftains in Africa sold their ancestors into slavery, or that black slave-owners in the US owned their ancestors ?

      • LawrenceNeal

There’s a TV series, ‘Great Civilizations of Africa’. Africa had kingdoms and empires, expansions and wars. As elsewhere, losers were taken captive. Put to labor or sold. I haven’t really researched it, I think Arab slavers raided villages, but I also think that Africans sold Africans from other groups. In the end, I think that like drugs, there’s supply and demand. They feed each other. Also, as another poster suggested, this link leads to some very interesting posts:

    “…this manufactured controversy.”

That is exactly what it is, manufactured out of thin air.

“The Huffington Post says that when you stand, you stand for white supremacy.”

Well, a radical leftist writer at the Huffington Post said that. It doesn’t speak for anyone but itself. I know it is lying to me.

Oh, the irony. The librarian is stereotyping. I never saw any racist mockery in his art.

Leftist Agenda. The Democratic Party is what is steeped in racism. They don’t want a color blind society that Americans electing a black President, represented.

Reminds me of Bess Truman what an equivalently slanderous and false accusation of Lucille Ball as a communist. Bess Truman said “Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball’s fictional TV character on I LOVE LUCY) is no communist. It was pure propaganda of fear. It turns out that Hollywood and the media were filed with communists. All the jews in the media were communists to some degree but history proved Lucille Ball was not one of them. Infact, at a time when the jewish media, jewish beatniks and hippies and jewish feminists and abortionists were all subverting American culture….all of Lucille Ball’s movies and TV shows and theatrical performances were patriotic and family friendly.

    • kctruth

Your lack of end quotes make it unclear if this whole post was a quote from Bess Truman or if everything after the missing end quote is yours or someone else’s opinion. Which is it?

Most white women will NOT willingly choose a mate who is shiftless, / stupid / violent. They want a good provider for their children. WOMEN cull out the losers. Black women don’t seem to care about these qualities. Angel Adams is notorious for having 15 children. All THREE of her baby-daddies are in and out of prison for violent crimes. The solution for black women is simple. There are more black babies aborted in NYC than are brought to term (born).

As FREE women have culled out the worst genetic traits, the white IQ has soared far beyond the black IQ. The arab races specialize in child marriage and other forced marriages to perpetuate their lineage,,, no matter how disgusting it is. Incest is VERY popular also. Sub-Saharan blacks, et al, specialize in rape because it is the most economic means to pass on their genes without a financial burden.

I have white privilege because my female lineage culled out the losers. Here is an article on reproduction strategies,
Low IQ people of any race know that they have very little chance of passing in their genes in a free market for mates. BUT, by treating women like stupid cattle, they remove 1/2 the population from being productive for anything besides baby-making. Saudi and Pakistan are good examples of retarded societies that continue to lose ground against Western societies with FREE women.
