Hungry FBI Creating Fake Terrorists
By Philippe Gastonne - June 09, 2015

In the 14 years since 9/11, you can count about six real terrorist attacks in the United States. These include the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013, as well as failed attacks, such as the time when a man named Faisal Shahzad tried to deliver a car bomb to Times Square. In those same 14 years, the Bureau, however, has bragged about how it's foiled dozens of terrorism plots. In all, the FBI has arrested more than 175 people in aggressive, undercover counterterrorism stings.

These operations, which are usually led by an informant, provide the means and opportunity, and sometimes even the idea, for mentally ill and economically desperate people to become what we now term terrorists.

These informants nab people like Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif and Walli Mujahidh. Both are mentally ill. Abdul-Latif had a history of huffing gasoline and attempting suicide. Mujahidh had schizoaffective disorder, he had trouble distinguishing between reality and fantasy. In 2012, the FBI arrested these two men for conspiring to attack a military recruiting station outside Seattle with weapons provided, of course, by the FBI. The FBI's informant was Robert Childs, a convicted rapist and child molester who was paid 90,000 dollars for his work on the case. This isn't an outlier. – Trevor Aaronson, TED Talk, March 2015

The FBI has a problem. Not enough terrorists are plotting to attack the United States, so agents find they must manufacture more of them. The method appears to be working, too. Dozens of FBI-appointed terrorists now sit safely in prison and no longer threaten the "Homeland."

Unfortunately, Trevor Aaronson's reporting suggests most of these people never threatened the Homeland in the first place. They had two problems. First, they suffer from serious mental illness. Second, they trusted the FBI's paid informants.

In an earlier era, we called this "entrapment" and law enforcement officials discouraged it. They weren't especially concerned about civil rights, but budgets were tighter and they had plenty of other low-hanging fruit.

All this changed after 9/11 when anti-terrorism became the FBI's top priority. The bureau found itself awash in cash and under pressure to deliver results. A national paranoia had citizens seeing potential terrorists behind every tree.

Something else happened, too. The number of people diagnosed with serious mental illness shot higher while the nation's capacity to care for them plummeted. Jails found themselves operating as de facto psychiatric wards, their cells filled with people who had tenuous connections to reality.

This neat coincidence helped the FBI solve its problem. Agents dangled cash to recruit informants who would then entice their "friends" into fictitious terror plots. The Bureau would then bust these plots open to great fanfare, allowing it to show success and keep the budget growing.

The strategy had the beneficial side effect of bolstering public fears. With terror plots in the headlines almost every month, voters gladly accepted loss of civil liberties and lavish anti-terror spending. News accounts routinely shaded over the missing connections to actual terrorists.

So, we are now in a "minority report" nation where the mere inclination to commit a crime, if given the opportunity, is enough to imprison people for life. How far will the FBI push this logic?

Practically everyone pushes the bounds of legality every day. We drive through intersections without making a complete stop. We drive 20 miles per hour over the limit when we don't see any police cars. We put liquids in our carry-on bags. Would we push the law even more if a trusted friend encouraged it? Probably so, but we would draw a line somewhere.

The FBI knows this. Targeting people with impaired judgment greatly increases their odds of "success." Mentally ill people often don't know when to stop. The strategy is working well, so it will likely continue.

As with most government programs, this one will probably expand far beyond its original intent. What else might we see? Maybe fake accountants advising people how to dodge taxes? Faux pharmacies dispensing drugs without prescriptions? Imitation taxidermists selling endangered species fur?

The possibilities are endless. So, apparently, is government's hunger for control.

They need “consent of the governed” to pay their salaries.

This means they must appear to be “of use” and “necessary” which means “make work” by creating “problems” that they can pretend to “solve”.

REALLY NEED TO UNDERSTAND the perspective, methodology and manipulations of the unproductive (snake oil salespersons) who defraud and attempt to enslave the productive (socially / economically, collapsing civilizations) just to fraudulently appear “of use” (to fools, including themselves):

BTW, they are trapped, enslaved in power hierarchies and perceive they have “no other choice” with dogmatic determination to maintain their position. Since they are not amenable to reason and quid pro quo trade, that means, inevitably, their crippling costs and tyranny MUST BE FOUGHT, for sheer survival considerations.

A lot of people believe in Terrorists…

    I don’t,,,

its like believing in the bogeyman…

I have never seen a terrorist,

    never smelled a terrorist,

    touched a terrorist

    Met a terrorist

    heard a terrorist…

    but yet their are terrorists…

we always told our kids to be good, or Santa will not give them presents…

    • Laird Minor

So do you believe in platypuses? Lemurs? Great white sharks? If you’ve never seen or touched something it doesn’t exist? You live in a very strange world.

    • I get the picture that you don’t suck into the scare tactic. But do you see the agendas that use ‘terrorism’ as a deceit by which to effectively strip rights and usurp governance, as terrorists or resorting to the use of extreme threat and fear as a justification for taking power as it were ‘from within’.
And you know that if you treat people badly enough for long enough, you will grow a crop of ‘terrorists’ – who can be nurtured and equipped and used as proxies in geopolitical global agendas.

Exactly what one means by a term is debatable, and crying foul! or calling wolf! does not mean that the grievance is true or the wolf really at the door. But it often works because we are conditioned by experience of threat and fear and loss to automatically self-protect before checking in with reality.

There are any number of names given to the enemy, the bad guys, the evil threat that must be eradicated. Sometimes they get to become statesmen and shake hands and hang out with the other leaders and dignitaries – such as was with Israeli terrorists. I feel there is truth in the statement “we become what we hate”. There is a polarising hatred that works both sides to devour or hollow out the centre where wholeness can find balance points rather than attempt usurp wholeness from one end of any such conflict.

There is a lot of information revealing that unprincipled power will use any ruse to ensure that they don’t lose their predation upon those who are farmed and discarded refuse. In some way I feel there is a need – from the point of view of the ‘control mentality’ to keep fear on the radar – in the news – in a multitude of ways. But this actually serves an awakening for all who refuse to accept what is not true – and thus are stripped of obstacles to a greater recognition. But as long as fear is setting the agenda, the awakening is only stirring.

OK… I now see you were identifying ‘terrorist’ with guilt tripping kids to conform.
The bogeyman – or the deprivation of magical blessings – are very real as fears within the human mind, its emotional constructed identity and it bodily energetic of contracted and blocked energy flow. We have different patterns of fear and so different imaging of what represent it in our experience.

But that which confirms us as believing we are not good – the fear of which deprives us of Presence, is part of our adaptation to the family and culture of our birth and sets up a particular framework that can be challenged and healed or not as the choice may be.
The lovelessness recycles until it meets a willingness to no longer pass it on.

When we no longer put it out, we know ourself and our world differently. What we give out is what we get back. But a mind divided against itself knows not what it does…. trying to make the grade and meet Santa?

If you’ve seen our government, then you’ve seen terrorists because they are one and the same. The U.S. government is the biggest terrorist network on the planet.

—“tenuous connections to reality” is fundamental to the American Psychiatric Association: they claim to be effective in manipulation of mental illusions. The manipulation certainly does create the interconnectedness of two major “industries,” Prisons and APA-BigPharma; each expands in proportion with government , FBI, in this instance, expansion due to the policing activities that are essentially better known as entrapment. Compared with data from the Center for Disease Control, here are your greatest threats. Terrorism is not one of them.

Comparing the CDC numbers to terrorism deaths means:

    – You are 35,079 times more likely to die from heart disease than from a terrorist attack

    – You are 33,842 times more likely to die from cancer than from a terrorist attack

    – You are 4,311 times more likely to die from diabetes than from a terrorist attack

    – You are 3,157 times more likely to die from flu or pneumonia than from a terrorist attack

    – You are 2,091 times more likely to die from blood poisoning than from a terrorist attack

    – You are 1,064 times more likely to die as your lungs swell up after your food or beverage goes down the wrong pipe

Between 1970 and 2007 Mueller and Stewart asserted in a separate paper published last year in Foreign Affairs that a total of 3,292 Americans (not counting those in war zones) were killed by terrorists resulting in an annual risk of one in 3.5 million. Americans were more likely to die in an accident involving a bathtub (one in 950,000), a home appliance (one in 1.5 million), a deer (one in two million) or on a commercial airliner (one in 2.9 million). [Let’s throw a couple more fun facts into the mix … The risk of choking to death on food is 1 in 4,404, and the risk of dying by falling out of furniture (including couches, chairs and beds) is 1 in 4,238. So you’re almost a thousand times more likely to die from one of these rare causes of death than terrorism.]

  • However, the desperation of the addict becomes more apparent. That this kind of attempt to control reality rather than understand oneself in true relation to what it actually is, works against one’s true interests is simply part of the price that the seduction of the illusion of such power demands.
The addiction is not only the FBI or any other TLA (Three letter acronym) – but the consciousness that participates in its control agenda.
We are generally conditioned to a fearful sense of self that equates such control with sanity, respectability, and acceptability – all of which relate to GETTING validity FROM outside, and which conform us to operate in ways that we believe others or society demands – so as to avoid or escape shame, rejection, powerlessness, ridicule and invalidation or even violence, loss of career, relationships, personal freedom or even our lives. But essentially a masking over and overriding of our natural being.
With the most part of a whole society tacitly sharing modes of being that operate defensively and offensively in a self-protective avoidance of intimate or true communication, the various devices of manipulative and contractual interactions replace relationships. This means that much of our exchange is coded ritual behaviours that sacrifice our true presence – and that capacity to receive it of others – to coercively maintained presentations. If they are socially acceptable, such behaviour is invisible or accepted as simply justified – perhaps assigned to ‘human nature’ as if normal meant natural. But when they are not socially acceptable, they are looked upon with blame and shame as if from a high moral ground.
The whole business of ‘justification’ for acting lovelessly – that is – without integrity – is the investment in offence FOR the purpose of self-assertion that draws its power not from a true presence but from the attack and undermining of another which is relinquishment of self-responsibility as the presence that you are – for the mask of social and personal justifiction.
Maintaining mutually agreed justifictions that take power from undermining others while masked in pretensions that one becomes actually identified in, is an addictive and destructive breakdown of communication, that defends itself against any real communication, because that is threat to its control of the narrative justifiction.
As long as one supports the justifiction, it can maintain its mask to itself. Attacking it also supports it by providing the enemy that validates its The escalation of perceived threat becomes the escalation of dissociated insanity.
It always was an insanity, but it always seems like someone else’s insanity until it comes home to roost.

When the perceived promise (of control), or threat to supply, power or obstacle to its promise of power, is significant enough, all kinds of evils are perpetrated as collateral. To those making such decisions, their definitions of the situation essentially frame the devil we know against a greater fear – and the devil we know is the attempt to coerce outcomes by fair mask or foul.

I do not expect institutional reforms excepting to switch masks in the same game – but individuals are brought to the test of whether to give allegiance to what is increasing breaking through the justifiction as a deep dissonance of being – or whether to use the dissonance as a fear symbol whereby to draw ‘power’ to maintain and magnify darkness from the light of a true alarm.

The way in which we communicate is as much our communication as the words we use. The ‘devil’ or command and control mentality operating deceit, can ‘jump’ to the self-righteous hatred of seeding itself in any new movement – because it is already latently there – and is triggered by the resonance of the fear and guilt.

To be vigilant FOR one’s peace is to be on guard against ‘divide and rule’ deceits – but then also to be the presence that can communicate regardless the provocations and baiting of those who assume you are as they believe themselves to be, and can thus be manipulated – because that is all they accept to be true.

On a local by note: I met some of Alan Grayson’s youtubes – particularly him questioning the cartel of corruption that transferred vast sums of taxpayer money to banks, which give a great example of calm incisive and persistent presence in the face of ‘power’ though of course he did not see it as power but as a deceit that does not bear scrutiny.

Government and its money. All the mass shootings of the last 15 plus years have been committed by ‘mentally ill’ people, created to unhinge society, so as to undermine the second amendment and lessen the ‘we the people’s’ dominate position, as was intended, they of course created the 911 attack as another avenue to usurp the power of the people, there is no doubt. It becomes a question of which generation will but a stop to it, this tyrannical oligarchy. It seems those in college are more interested in what is said about someone than what is done to them, it seems those in their thirties are more interested in their hope for change an the welfare check, it seems those in their 40’s and 50’s are screaming load but have no answers, it seems those in their 60’s are looking to get away, somewhere save, those in their 70’s will join the fight, but not for long. So, which generation will it be, maybe unborn yet or till the system collapses and the generations come together again to put the rabid dogs down as all rabid dogs must be put down and its a put down out of mercy, to ease its mental illness, to lessen it’s pain. Its an act of MERCY, to stop the madness!!!!

I was under the impression that all of the attacks were fake, on one level or another.
