Signs from Mainstream Media that Clinton’s Campaign Might be Over
By Daily Bell Staff - May 13, 2016

Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ label may stick … Donald Trump dispatched his Republican rivals by branding each one with an insulting but memorable nickname … As the general election campaign nears, Trump has settled on a label for the likely Democratic nominee: “Crooked Hillary.”  “It works,” he boasted to the New York Times. “It flows.”  -Los Angeles Times

When we start to see admissions in the mainstream media that Hillary’s public persona is perceived as  “crooked,” we have to wonder if she is going to end up as the Democratic nominee.

We’ve written about this in the past (see below) but as the trend continues, it heightens our suspicions.

After all … this is how the mainstream media can guide us, because the mainstream media ultimately reflects specific elite biases.

One or two articles don’t mean much, but the “Hillary is crooked” theme is being offered on a more regular basis now.

It is a form of what we call “directed history.”

One can see this at work in the sudden change regarding how to treat drugs and drug offenders.

Nothing much has changed in terms of drugs and drug treatments. But suddenly there is a public health consensus that drug addiction ought be treated rather than criminalized.

Academic write-ups gradually yield to political activism and media profiles.

Now we are traveling toward a point where various legislatures take action to treat drugs from a health standpoint.

The idea is always to find international problems that demand globalist solutions.

Hillary has been subject to the same sort of treatment.

She has proven to be a dependable ally of globalist ambitions. Thus, her corruption problems have been ignored by the mainstream media.

Of course, it seems fairly obvious that she sold favors for hundreds of millions of dollars as Secretary of State. The money was laundered through the Clinton Foundation.

But there has been very little mainstream coverage. Most of the attention has been focused on her email manipulations.

But even this less lurid subject may prove to be too much for those charged with moving the globalist agenda forward.

Reuters, for instance, just reported that “Trump draws even with Clinton in national White House poll.”

Republican Donald Trump pulled even with Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Wednesday, in a dramatic early sign that the Nov. 8 presidential election might be more hotly contested than first thought.

While much can change in the six months until the election,  the results of the online survey are a red flag for the Clinton campaign that the billionaire’s unorthodox bid for the White House cannot be brushed aside.

… Republican strategist Dave Carney said the Reuters/Ipsos poll showed the vulnerability of Clinton, who is still battling U.S. Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination.

And here’s more from the LA Times:

All campaign long, pollsters have found that many voters — including some Democrats — don’t think she’s principled … Fairly or not, Clinton can’t shed her history.

The American Thinker has proposed a novel theory regarding Clinton that takes into account her massive, ongoing unpopularity, as follows:

Secretary Clinton [may have] struck a bargain with the Obama White House that in return for bowing out at or near the convention, she will receive a full pardon in order to ensure that she will never see the inside of a prison cell.

She takes the slings and arrows, exhausting the opposition research budgets of Republican campaigns, leaving V.P. Biden and Sen. Warren largely immune from scrutiny during these long months of primaries and caucuses.

By the time she begs off the nomination, citing medical issues, the Republicans will have barely three months to investigate and counter the actual nominees, Biden and Warren.

This is somewhat analogous to a proposal that we made back in January in an article entitled, The Empire Strikes Back:

Has it occurred to the Clintons that perhaps they have made too many enemies?  … The FBI is not acting like a cowed agency – presumably because it has the backing of the current administration. Just as importantly, the current administration controls the Justice Department.

Here’s a thought … Watch out for a sudden withdrawal from the race. Hillary could certainly be confronted with a proposition of that sort: Either remove yourself for health reasons or face indictment.  Stranger things have happened in this empire we call the United States of America.

The drumbeat of accusations continues to roll.

After a while, one begins to believe it is purposeful. Hillary may be the presumptive nominee of the Democratic party. But just as logically, she may end up bowing out – voluntarily or not.

Conclusion: In such cases, analysis of mainstream media coverage can prove both helpful and enlightening. When it comes to major, ongoing news stories, nothing in the mainstream media seems accidental. We’ve pioneered this sort of analysis and we suggest it can be helpful in numerous ways. In this instance, it is certainly leading us to question whether Hillary will be successful in reaching her ultimate goal.

You don’t have to play by the rules of the corrupt politicians, manipulative media, and brainwashed peers.

What I’ve suspected – and feared – is that if Clinton shows that she may lose to Trump that she’ll be removed (possibly indicted or come down with an illness, as Warren Buffet warned) and replaced with a Joe Biden/Elizabeth Warren ticket. They could very possibly beat Trump because of the numbers.

    • r2bzjudge

      “Joe Biden/Elizabeth Warren ticket.”

Neither has run. Sanders is the only democratic candidate left, other than Clinton.

      • Martin the American redux

Let’s wait and watch. My fear is that what you say is as remote as my wish for a repeal of the 16th amendment or better yet, re-legalizing (is that a word?) duels!

        • olde reb

The 16th Amendment is a dead issue. Get over it.

The Supreme Court definitively ruled in South Carolina v Baker, 485 US 505 (1988) that Pollock had been overruled in 1935.

(But then again, the 16th amendment had never applied to a tax levied on wages or salaries. The tax ruled unconstitutional by the Pollock court was a tax on capital investments, i.e., a tax on income from rental property or
from stocks. The tax on wages and salaries was merely voided. The public misconception helped the IRS confuse the public.)

          • MetaCynic

Did courts ever rule on whether the 16th Amendment was properly ratified? I recall reading a while ago that someone researching this issue concluded that nowhere near the number of state legislatures required to pass that amendment had voted to ratify it. Apparently what was uncovered was that in many cases the language of the amendment voted on was changed, altering its meaning. Thus not all state legislatures voted on the same proposed amendment!

          • olde reb

I believe it was Bill Benson that obtained certified copies of many state records that indicated numerous flaws in the ratification process. He attempted to use the information in the judicial system as a challenge to the income tax. At this point, the discussion is moot.

The Supreme Court in SC v Baker (addressing a question of a federal tax on a state bond interest issue) declared the Pollock holding was no longer holding. Therefore, the 16th amendment (which had been previously ruled to have been to reverse the Pollock holding) was redundant. A repeal of the 16th amendment will not change anything. (But as mentioned previously, the amendment was never applicable to a tax levied upon a citizens earnings from labor.)

As I see it, the (supposed) income tax is on an individual’s pursuit of a livelihood. That activity is protected as a constitutional Right within the clause of Liberty in the 5th and 14th Amendments. Such Rights are not suitable objects for a revenue tax.

If the government could properly levy such a tax, they could confiscate 100 % of a persons earning. The individual would be a peon/slave. The nation of Sovereign citizens has become a nation of slaves by just one law.

There is a good reason there is no law that imposes a tax on a citizen. If such a law existed, it would be included in indictments whereby the government would have to carry the burden of proof as to its validity. (The validity of the tax is therefore not an issue before the court.) Without such a law, any attempt by the accused to refute the undeclared tax would permit the court to shift the burden of proof to the accused. He would have to prove there is NO POSSIBLE WAY the tax MIGHT be valid. That is an impossibility but Quatloos is a collection of those who have tried.

That current indictments are inconsistent with due process requirements is a given.

          • MetaCynic

It seems to me that a legal challenge to the scope and targets of the 16th Amendment based on the exact meaning of its wording at the time it was enacted would, even if successful, still leave that Amendment intact. The tax burden would simply be shifted around. However, offering documented proof to a court that it was never properly ratified – which should be relatively simple to put together – would, if successful, void it in its entirety, and the ratification process would need to start all over again.

The former path would generate endless controversy. On the other hand, what argument can anyone offer against proof that the supreme law of the land and the will of the people as expressed through the state legislatures was ignored in the 16th Amendment’s ratification process? If it’s so popular and important, then let the 16th Amendment be properly ratified. But I suspect that in this time of brewing rebellion, the 16th Amendment would end up on the trash heap.

        • olde reb

PS: You cannot find a statute in Title 26 that levies a tax upon individual citizens. Section #871 levies a tax on “nonresident alien individuals.” Section 11 levies a tax on corporations. Section 1 levies a tax on individuals with “taxable income.” If you use the percentages tabulated in section 1, you have acquiesced to having received taxable

If you rely upon sections 7201-7215 (as in indictments), you are relying upon statutes that have been applied to numerous taxes collected by the IRS. They cannot identify “a known legal duty” (statute) required by the Supreme Court for a valid indictment.

The forced collection of the income tax on citizens is a scam.

        • Louis3

I agree Martin. My thoughts is that the media now wants the first woman president as much as they wanted the first half/white half/black president last time around.

          • Debra

Oh man, isn’t that the truth! It’s an AGENDA – not what’s right. Which begs the question that the election(s) were rigged.

        • tinfoilhatttt

Hard to repeal something that was never truly ratified…

  • Praetor

Could there be two more strange people than the Clintons. It does look like they take a lot of gifts and then handout a lot of favors. And their not beyond anything, to keep their faces in the public eye.

The people are tired of these games. They get to the convention and it turns out, the nominees are Biden and Warren. I would suspect the democratic voter, just won’t vote. At this point the corruption is so in you’re face, people will just turn it all off, more than they already do.

No matter what happens in the Demoncat party, Trump wins!!!

  • r2bzjudge

“All campaign long, pollsters have found that many voters — including some Democrats — don’t think she’s principled …”

What politician is principled? Bill Clinton was hounded by republicans to balance the budget, then those same republicans became spendthrifts when Bush Jr. was elected. Cheney even said that Reagan proved deficits don’t matter.

Snyder in Michigan said he took responsibility for Flint and in the very next breath shifted blame to faceless bureaucrats.

    • timamac

Snyder wasn’t to blame. Stupid Flint voters electing dems of their color no matter how incompetent.

  • Stan

Perhaps like the Republican party, the dems can make up the rules as they go, but I’m not sure how the dem party can legitimately brush aside Bernie who is still running (and will continue to run indefinitely), and hand pick someone off the shelf that has never run….

What a great system we have….

    • Cynthia McKinney PhD

Yep, we have the system that we have allowed them to build. The system reflects the wishes of the power wielders and we, the people, have refused to wield our power due to division, manipulation, and cultural invasion, just as Paulo Freire wrote so many years ago.

      • william beeby

Just read about Paulo Freire and yes he had it right. Can Bernie Sanders get the nomination now or is it impossible for him ? The polls showed he was the only one who can beat Trump about 10 days ago. If Hillary does drop out , please, surely it MUST go to Sanders.

      • Stan

Clearly, those voting for the Republican candidate saw the manipulation for and from their own party. That explains the big switch from polls showing a Cruz win in Indiana to a crushing Trump win.

I believe the American public finally stood up, gave their middle finger to the establishment and voted for Trump. Although in not as greater numbers, dems are doing some of the same.

I live in kalifornia, and my plan was to vote for whomever sat on top (Trump or Cruz). Not that I fully supported either of them, but I knew the establishment hated both and I won’t vote for their candidate ever again.

We are in desperate need of a revolution. This country of our is circling the toilet bowl and we’re nearing the end of that ride…..

  • JosephConrad

HILLARY IS THE MOST dishonest, dishonorable, corrupt, criminal candidate for
    president in U.S. HISTORY.
She has directly or indirectly helped MURDER nation leaders and OVERTHROW
    10 NATIONS.
She has bribed and accepted bribes from public and private entities
to influence policy decisions & has committed PERJURY to cover her actions.

    • Milly Vanilly

That’s WHY she is the perfect Demo-Ratic candidate for the AGENDA.

    • Sickofphonyleft

Nah, she’s still miles behind LBJ, but closing fast.

    • Marten

      And don’t forget “Waco” texas…sounds a bell ????

  • Milly Vanilly

Hillary will be FORCED to bow out……Bathhouse Barry will grow a mustache , use one of his OTHER FAKE names & run in place of Hillary. He will say his resemblance to Barack Obama is a conspiracy theory… The SHEEPLE will BUY IT !…..LOL.
I think this is either Plan F74 or F75 ‘Cause all the others have failed.

    • Louis3

My God Milly, I love that!! LOL

      • mary

Wish I’d thought of this. 😉 Brilliant, Milly!

She’ll take the medical out. She is a sicko….but a sicko in the head….plus a lot of other medical problems.

The Congolese make a distinction between Mobutuism and real change. Let’s just hope that Hillary’s campaign wheels have rolled off the vehicle and that the next car we get into isn’t driven by someone even worse–just a new face!!!! A “bought” political party is not going to save the rights of the people. Did you see this:

Obama legacy will be the pardon of our country’s most despicable criminal, murderer traitor?

    • robertsgt40

      It’s traditional

    • Cynthia McKinney PhD

And a whole lot of killing, dropping bombs all over the world: I daresay hardly what people thought they were electing. However, I did sound a warning in 2008.

  • disqus_eEbPU3IGDU

My guess is that Hillary gets pardoned in return for her agreement to withdraw from the race. The Democrats scramble to get another candidate.

    • RWS

Could the means of her escaping justice in this world be as blatant as a public pardon? Even though President Obama’s hateful deprecation of America continues to surprise me as it advances, a public pardon does seem a far reach.

      • disqus_eEbPU3IGDU

What I meant was not so much a formal presidential pardon as a decision not to prosecute. In other words, Hillary gets off the hook and gets out of town.

  • Dalton

I believe Biden is being primed, or was being primed, to step in as the establishment choice when Hillary is forced to withdraw or is withdrawn. I think Bernie either knows what’s happening in the background and is continuing his push based on that knowledge or instinct, or is setting himself up as the people’s choice in the event Clinton is pulled.

If I were to be betting on the Demo outcome, I would say Biden is going to be the choice, However, recently his public appearances have shown him to be more quirky than previously seen, making one wonder if he is not mentally able to step into that role.

You saw it here first 😉

    • stormykitteh

Biden is brain damaged – berry aneurysms in his brain. He was one of, if not the first, to receive the coils inserted into the aneurysms in the 1980’s. The fact he walks, he talks, he swims naked in his pool are all testaments to American medical research and practice… in the 1980’s.
Biden as VEEP was a fantastic move – who would want him as POTUS? Biden as POTUS – well, he’d better live carefully.

      • Dalton

And yet he’s still a better choice than Hillary lol

Not sure who the next in line would be for the Dems, I suppose Sanders is making his case for the backup.

    • jackw97224

The plagiarist booby bin biden who runs from one shoe in mouth to another is a horrible excuse for a presidential candidate, oh, but then maybe he is a “mirror” of the commie/socialists, loot A to satisfy B, majority of Democrat voters and thus his candidacy is to be expected.

    • Tsigantes

Biden is corrupt. And Biden jr., an incompetent coke fiend, has been nepotisticly placed into a Ukraine resource extraction company…

      • Dalton

So is Obama. So is Hillary. What’s your point?

Says the guy who’s donated mightily to her and Bubba and their foundation. How Ironic!

  • Cynthia McKinney PhD

Hillary should be prosecuted; not President! She stole democracy from the Haitians and installed a puppet there as President who gave her brother a concession in a gold mine. She hasn’t hesitated to decimate the democratic process as she has ripped through $100 million, to boot. I hope The Daily Bell is correct in its analysis of the tea leaves.

    • Time will tell.

“Cynthia Ann McKinney is an American politician and activist. As a member of the Democratic Party, she served six terms in the United States House of Representatives. In 2008, the Green Party of the United States nominated McKinney for President of the United States. She was the first black woman to represent Georgia in the House.” (Wikipedia)

        And my hero!

        • Cynthia McKinney PhD

          Thank you!!!!!

          • Cherie Velkovich Clark

And mine. I am a US Peace Corps volunteer serving in Uganda as an RN Educator. You have always had my respect and we need far more people like you!

          • Cynthia McKinney PhD

            Thank you, Cherie!

    • gomurr

Thank you, Cynthia, for standing for truth against all odds. I don’t have “heros”, but if I did, you would be it.

      • Cynthia McKinney PhD

Thank you!!!!! The U.S. political system has become distorted by corruption with impunity. If we don’t coalesce for the single purpose of salvaging what’s left of and restoring the Bill of Rights, technological advances will make the task way more difficult.

        • gomurr

You are right on the money. While I see people waking up everyday, the organized agenda of pitting us against one another on the basis of race, sex, ethnicity, gender, religion, and political parties, has prevented many from realizing we have a common enemy which must be defeated. If we don’t come together, none of us will like the outcome.

        • william beeby

If we dont do this quickly ” they ” will shut down or restrict the internet to take us quickly back to the days of main stream media being the only way for ” the people ” to know what is going on. Since 911 people have been waking up and the crash of 2007/2008 quickened this new outlook on those who govern us.
Lets be honest prior to 911 the world just assumed that the shining light that was the USA was invulnerable and immune from outside attack. Also prior to what was called the ” credit crunch ” of 2007/2008 very few people questioned the US financial system or the Fed and the !% ruling elite . The name of Rothschild , just for example , was never mentioned and more or less unknown to me as the world`s richest family and the leading light in the globalisation that is taking place.
We need more people like you Cynthia or else we are sunk.

          • Cynthia McKinney PhD

Yes, William. I’m so glad to count you among the awake! Did you know that it only takes a handful of people to make a revolution? As long as our message is clear and morally correct. They can make us look like kooks, cowards, or crooks, but in the end, if we can awaken critical mass, we can make it happen. That’s why I subscribe to The Daily Bell. I want to know what’s going on across the political spectrum and the phenomenon described by Mortimer (above) works perfectly for people who have the same loyalty to the Dem/Repub Parties as those parties have demonstrated for the people. The only real stake “the people” have in the existing power configuration is to overturn it. That’s across race, gender, religious, language, regionalism, and other lines historically used to divide us.

  • RealityCheckk

Crooked Hillary is so crooked she makes a corkscrew envious.

  • Truly fascinating hypothesis

  • 2 Swords Protection

Fascinating idea, but we have ignored a President who for 8 years has violated the Constitution. So what makes you think we won’t elect a crook for his job? Conservatives are not uniting behind Trump and Crooked Hillary has a George Soros $2 billion war chest (along with mega contributions from Wall Street) to give her the next election. Personally, my dog wouldn’t play with her unless she had a pork chop tied around her neck. But unless we have an alternative to Trump, Hillary will win. Either way, it is a win for liberal Democrats. And either way, we will have another egomaniac in office like the last 8 years.

    • Sandy Rider

What is with everyone assuming??? Sanders is the future. WE will prevail.

  • Dimitri Ledkovsky

Boiling Frogs Theory applies to Hillary. The heat is on and (is it possible) she doesn’t know this? Another example of DB’s point could be the multiple appearances in business sections of the news about the Saudi $100 million that passed through the Clinton Foundation.

  • Hippity

Biden would not be a pushover. He is likeable with a nice smile, and that’s what most voters judge a candidate by. Stupid, and also ignorant, are the voters. I hope the Trumpeter reads the Daily Bell! The theory sounds plausible to me.

  • Goldcoaster

Biden Warren. God I hate these people. (It will likely work.)

  • Disingenuous

There might be an issue, if they push aside Bernie for Joe and Fauxahontas Warren. Maybe. I actually know more than a few Bernie Fans who will vote for Donald. ? I know it doesn’t make sense, but they like Bernie.

    • Mortimer Sled

See, I think there is much merit in a Trump-Sanders alliance and have thought so for some time. Look at the West Virginia poll where 44% of Sanders supporters said they would vote for Trump over Clinton!

That a bunch of Democrats (real ones) would switch from Sanders to Trump, effectively ‘hopping over’ Clinton, demonstrates that, in the minds of many, Clinton is to the RIGHT of Trump. This is not a figment of their imaginations. On the contrary, it’s a sign some folks are beginning to come to their senses. In fact, on issues such a TPP and empiric (anti-Russian) fervor (the necessary prelude to WW3), no hopping is required. Hillary IS to the right of Trump.

      How can this be?

The origin of this cognitive dissonance is traceable to Bill Clinton’s tenure as head of the Democratic Leadership Council (prior to his presidency) when he in effect minted the Democratic Party as a pro-business Republican pretender. Today’s party politics emulate the NASCAR model where each driver has his own corporate badges while the people eat popcorn in the stands.

Yes, a lot of people still wave tattered FDR pennants when the Clinton motorcade swings by. Sad creatures of habit. Remarkably, huge swathes of Americans have still failed to notice how ideology has been all but excised from the process. Or is that corporatism has overwhelmed and subdued the battle of ideas? Blimpies Wanker-burgers to the right. Hostess Winkies to the left. Don’t tell us what’s on your mind. Just eat.

What the Clintons perpetrated on the Democratic party amounts to an ideological body-snatch. However thanks to the twin assaults of Sanders and Trump, the people are waking up. They want back into the debate, a REAL debate, not a corporate tug-of-war. And they’ll use whatever vehicle is available to them –Trump, Sanders– to get a voice. It really doesn’t matter.

Trump wants to burden-share America’s role as the world’s policeman. So much for global(ist) ambitions. Whereas Hillary wants to take on Russia and perpetuate our standing as world empire. And who resembles Hitler again?

How has this dissonance been perpetuated for so long? is itr being helped along by Mark Zuckerberg’s clipping ‘conservative’ articles out of Facebook’s newsfeed every morning? Zuckerberg is like the enterprising kid with the early morning paper route –except he brings along a pair of SCISSORS.

    • Cynthia McKinney PhD

Yes, it does make sense from a certain perspective.

  • MetaCynic

What pundits and elite insiders of all sorts, cocooned in DC and the coasts, don’t yet seem to grasp is that a revolutionary mood is brewing in the heartland. Tens of millions of ordinary Americans are finally connecting the dots and have correctly concluded that so much of the social and economic misery in their lives and communities is the outcome of the establishment elites’ grasp for money and power.

Americans have had it with endless wars, crippling taxes, suffocating regulations, uncontrolled immigration, 24/7 surveillance and above all political correctness used as a club to censor speech and trash property rights in the name of social justice. Thanks to the internet, once highly respected American institutions are rapidly losing the public’s trust. Americans feel betrayed by those they were taught to trust. The political class, the media, the police, the courts and the education establishment are now held in contempt by a large body of the public. Worst of all, until Trump came along, the many millions of hurting and angry Americans had no effective means to voice their real grievances.

Whatever his shortcomings from a libertarian point of view, Trump, the incorruptible billionaire outsider, is embraced by middle America as a bigger than life, super hero cartoon character who’s expected to vanquish the evil establishment. He’s criticized by the elites for his “unpresidential” behavior. But what have decades of “presidential” behavior done for us?

Ron Paul’s erudition and intellectual brilliance went beyond “presidential”, but his persona and demeanor were too gentlemanly for the bruising political ring. Trump’s visceral appeal is precisely his unpresidential style. He is a plain speaking, bare knuckles brawler who won’t hesitate to ridicule and slap his opponents around. Ron Paul could write a thoughtful, compelling essay questioning Hillary’s ethics and itemizing her catastrophic failures, yet the public would yawn. Trump acts unpresidential, calls her an incompetent, trigger-happy crook, and the public cheers. This is what sells when the public is in a revolutionary mood. The public no longer wants to hear presidential sounding euphemisms describe what it knows are incompetent, trigger-happy crooks! The public is electrified by plain language, and Trump is their man.

To the surprise of know-it-all pundits, Trump steamrolled over Republican candidates heavily funded by crony capitalist Republicans. For the same reasons he will do likewise to whomever crony capitalist Democrats windup and set in his path. Revolution is in the air!

    • Sandy Rider

It’s too bad that you don’t go further and segway to the Bernie Sanders campaign. He is the TRUE answer to the problems in the country.

      • MetaCynic

Yep, the answer to a country crippled by public debt and taxes and hobbled by government micromanagement of our lives is more of the same. I suppose you would treat a rash caused by poison ivy by throwing yourself into a poison ivy bush!

    • Cherie Velkovich Clark

So do you suggest we all just crawl inside a cave, take anti depressants, or maybe just mass suicide. We could do it on July 4th. I was following you quite well. Nice job in kind of summarising it but I have kids and grandkids and I feel somehow committed to leaving them a planet. I suggest you look for the poison ivy bush.

      • MetaCynic

I agree, the future looks quite grim. There is no painless way out either for us or for our children and grandchildren. We are going to have to live thru and deal with economic and social convulsions because are parents, grandparents and great grandparents were insufficiently vigilant when the now entrenched political and social institutions wrecking this country were first flexing their muscles more than a century ago.

Over the years, our ancestors failed to rise up and slap down every small precedent setting encroachment on their liberty, thus we today live in a police state. Their envy of the rich allowed the income tax to take root so that today we are nickel and dimed to death by taxes from every direction. Their easily manipulated fear and hatred of foreigners made them complacent as a vast military/industrial complex arose which needs perpetual manufactured wars to justify its existence. They repeatedly refused to take responsibility for their lives so that today, in the name of our collective well being, we are all hopelessly entangled in a web of laws, rules, edicts, mandates and regulations controlling every aspect of our being.

Tinkering with reforms of existing institutions will change nothing. Turning to those who wrecked things to now fix them is a fool’s fantasy. A once free country has been radically transformed culturally by centralized power designed to enslave. It will take an equally radical cultural transformation to free us. Brainwashed minds will need to be deprogrammed, bad investments must be liquidated and new ways and habits of thinking and acting as a free people are supposed to think and act will need to be developed. None of these will be easy tasks.

Donald Trump would be a transitional figure in this unfolding tragic drama. Only a successful political outsider such as he would be so bold as to attempt reforms which would probably bring down our already rickety house of cards. He could be America’s Gorbachev who was put in place to save rotting Communism and by loosening the party’s death grip, succeeded in crashing that unstable totalitarian system.

  • rahrog

Presidents only matter if the common folk let them matter. There will always be people who await the unicorn cavalry to save them from boogie men.
For people with free minds the obvious choice is to SECEDE from the current central government and the central banks that own that government.

It seems to me that this reflects the mainstream media having sold the Koolaid to all of us courtesy of the Clintonian influence realizing now that they might have dug themselves a little bitty hole and that they’re now equivocating.

  • mary

As someone here mentioned, Biden has brain damage. Is it even possible for him to be involved in a POTUS election? How old is this guy?

A nation of 350 million people and the only puppets they can find to run for pres are octogenarian kleptocrats with health probs (or Kenyans with hidden pasts)? I guess when the country is controlled by a crime family, you get inbred, ancient dons clinging to power. Truly sad.

Not yet convinced that the wicked witch of arkansas is on the way out. Like in 2008, tptb are staring into the face of severe economic problems that will require having a POTUS who will be untouchable by legitimate criticism for the coming crimes necessary to bail out the banksters. That’s why they put the cia-groomed kenyan in office. (Every POTUS since Papa Bush has been CIA, btw.) To this day, any criticism is easily brushed aside with charges of racism. They now have a woman (?), a jew and someone who is playing up the jewish members of his family. The hispanic was shown the door…

Wouldn’t be possible to cover for the massive theft coming with a white guy in the white house.

Come on, DB, where are you with THIS analysis? 😉 Seems DB-esque to me.

    • Macon Richardson

Good post, Mary. Rather than say that “every POTUS since Papa Bush has been CIA”, it would be more correct to say that every POTUS since Papa Bush has had deep, on-going relations with the CIA.” I can’t imagine Bill Clinton being CIA though I can easily imagine him colluding with the CIA on the Mena airfield operations.

It may be a quibble, but it is a distinction. Of course, Papa George was CIA, probably back to the Bay of Pigs. Little George was CIA by family connection. Obama was groomed from childhood in his family’s CIA/Ford Foundation tradition. But Bill? Yes, he collaborated with the CIA but if the money and women were right, he’d have collaborated with Ming of Mongo.

      • mary

Macon, I believe the hillbilly was recruited for CIA work in the UK when he was a Rhodes “scholar.” You are prob correct to make a distinction between a w2 employee and a 1099 contractor (ja, ja, ja) due to issue of policy and control, but still… 😉

        • Macon Richardson

Mary, I agree with you completely and love your distinction between a W2 employee and a 1099 contractor. The Rhodes scholarship comes, of course, right out of Chatham House and exists to recruit young Americans into the Anglo-American empire game.

Fifty-five years ago I was the recipient of a Woodrow Wilson graduate fellowship which I took with me to Stanford University.

I was young! I since have understood that the Wilson Foundation is the American branch of Chatham House. Fortunately for my soul, I walked from both Stanford and the Wilson fellowship and got a job as a day laborer.

Note: I’m sure I did see Ming of Mongo exiting the Stanford administration building once.

Bobby Kennedy being assassinated the night when he won the California
primary becoming the presumptive nominee historically parallels Hillary
getting indicted (figuratively assassinated) as the presumptive nominee
(if you count super delegates) after the California primary. The
parallel continues as the DNC refuses to recognize the grass roots
anti-war delegates of Eugene McCarthy (parallel Senator Bernie Sanders)
and installs the sitting VP Hubert Humphrey (parallel VP Joe Biden) who
hadn’t declared as a candidate (parallel VP Joe Biden) . When
demonstrations broke out the convention chairman Chicago Mayor Richard
Daley (parallel ex Philadelphia mayor Ed Randell) called out a police
riot that lasted longer than the convention. VP Hubert Humphrey went on
to lose to Richard Nixon, a pro-war screw-loose that few in the
Democratic party took seriously (parallel Donald Trump). It’s well
known how disastrous that result was. It’s hard to learn from lessons
      48 years ago.

      • Cherie Velkovich Clark

Sure brings back memories. I started out in 68 and here we are

    • Sandy Rider

Mary- what mental institution are you writing this from? Clearly you are damaged goods.

      • mary

DB–do we have to put up with this troll?

  • gordon

I hope for the benefit of the american public that the DB article is correct and that the she wolf either resigns or is prevented from gaining the presidency. Another four or eight years of the continuation of the current idiot in the white house policy would be even too much for the great american economy to withstand.

  • heidi jo bean

What a shame that people are backing a pro-fracking, pro-TPP, pro-Big Pharma, pro-private prisons, pro-Wall Street, pro-KXL Pipeline, military industrial
complex beholden, anti-Glass-Steagall corporate centrist, when there’s a true progressive running.

    • straight shooter

      And that would be whom?

      • Hillary.

        • timothy price

        • Chase Steffen

Hillary Clinton is very obviously not a progressive, as anyone without their head in the sand can tell you.

          They meant Bernie. Get real.

          • william beeby

Bernie is the only one any where near to be left wing and if I could vote he would deffo be my choice . I am hoping Hillary or Killary as she is becoming known has to drop out over the e mails and other criminal acts she is guilty of.

        • straight shooter

      • Steve

        You obviously are ill informed.

        • straight shooter

No, I just enjoy the hell out of annoying people who cling to meaningless labels, i.e., Sanders is a Socialist, etc.

      • heidi jo bean

        Backing Hillary, instead of Bernie.

  • So if Trump figures out a label to stick on Hillary then it is directed history. If directed history is your main angle of analysis, then you are inclined to use it on anything that passes your window. If all you have is a hammer, then everything looks like a nail. I think TBTB would prefer Clinton to Trump, but that is just my personal guess.

    • Bill G

Hillary is a liar and a thief!!!

  • Dana Marie Cain

    Well done. Thank you.

  • timothy price

We will not rest until Hillary is behind bars.

  • Steve Frye

If Obama pardons her before charges are brought, his legacy will be mortally wounded. I don’t think he cares about her, especially since she reneged on an agreement to be transparent about The Clinton Foundation. #DropOutHillary #feelthebern

  • Sandy Rider

So where are we, Bernie supporters left with all this manipulation? In Philly fighting the good fight! Yes we want peaceful demonstrations, but in reality, they will be ready for us with not so peaceful means of crowd control. All of us that are going to Philly, go to your Army supply store and buy a gas mask. Even if it’s symbolic, we should all be equipped with them. The Democratic machine isn’t going to steal this from Bernie.

  • Terry McBride

We will see in July whether Bernie Sanders is awarded [rightfully so] the DNC nomination… if not I see a 3 way race in November with many Bernie Sanders Supporters supporting Jill Stein or Writing in his name in the General Election… BOTTOM LINE we do not want a CORPORATE PUPPET!!!!

  • Pilgrim

There are those who believe that presidents are no longer elected, that they are anointed, and that campaigns are nothing more than theater, staged for the mushroom class.

While it is undeniable that manipulations are taking place behind the proverbial curtain, the undeniable unpopularity of Hiliary cannot be hidden from even the least casual observer. She doesn’t draw a crowd, she isn’t an inspiring speaker and she has baggage dating back to the 60’s. Even with the machine she has in place, she’s polling neck & neck with someone who approached politics “on the fly” with little or no preparation whatsoever.

The Wicked Witch of the West-wing may be the darling of the donor class, but she is esteemed by most as a boil on the ass of the body politic.

    • Shel Ingram

Extremely well said and I agree with you 100%. I guess this is the end of the Bernie Sanders media black out? Suddenly, he’s worthy of some news time? I wonder just what has changed? I think that the FBI has stumbled onto a whole bunch of corruption committed by the “anointed one” HRC, that she does NOT have a choice now. Our government knows that “we the people” won’t stand for it, if she did do some shady deals while she was Secretary of State. I don’t know for sure but my gut tells me that HRC did NOT set up a home brew email server in the basement of her home, then proceeded to illegally conduct ALL of her Secretary of State email communications from her home brew, un-protected, un-secure email server, just for mere convenience. She’s a lawyer, she signed an Oath to protect our nation’s security and she KNEW when she set up the home brew email server and began conducting Sec. of State business via that server that she was breaking the law!! She’s not stupid, she’s conniving!! It wasn’t for convenience, I am sure, just as every American w/ half a brain knows, that she set up that server in order to do some shady illegal and/immoral deals with World leaders etc. I don’t have proof but my gut knows that she’s lying and covering up for more than the media is telling us and soon we’ll all know the truth esp. if Putin decides to shed some light on the supposed deleted emails. If Putin is able to show that they really do have all of her deleted emails, I think that HRC should be indicted for treason immediately!! I don’t think she should even be running for POTUS since she is being investigated and since we all know for sure that she broke one part of our federal law which is the “gross negligence” part where even if it was done without malice or without any criminal motive at all, b/c she transferred, viewed and shared sensitive government documents via an un-secure, un-protected server even if she supposedly did not realize it, she is still guilty of this crime!!! Why is she NOT in a federal prison awaiting trial like ANYONE else would be if they had perpetrated such treasonous crimes??? That have already been proven? This infuriates many Americans. That she is being treated as if she is “above the law”, when anyone of us, if we were to have done the same thing, would be in prison, no question about it.

      • Bill G

Hillary is very sick and has been for more than 30 years. She has mental illness problems that has been protected by so many that when she lies she is convinced that this is the truth. While speaking to one group Hillary stated,” I am going to close all coal mfg. companies in America.” But to a group in Virginia she stated when ask by a man that his family depended on his job with a coal company Hillary stated, “I have always been for coal companies, what was said about me was no what I said.” SURE Killery!!!

  • Shel Ingram

Didn’t take them long to censor me!! The Daily Bell is just like any other mainstream media. Notice how they didn’t even mention Bernie Sanders’ in this article? Biased, lying media is our enemy not just government corruption. My last post, stayed on about one whole minute. Wonder how long this post will stay on this page?

    • No one removed a post of yours.

      • Shel Ingram

My apologies, I realize that I put it as a reply without meaning to, so my fault. I am upset by the fact that you completely ignored the fact that Bernie Sanders is running for President this very election?? Why the obvious media blackout?

  • Westcoastliberal

Quinnipiac and PPP both show Sanders beating Trump by a stronger margin than Hitlery. Let’s be real, Sanders is the stronger candidate.

BTW Shel, I saw your earlier post; it’s still here (and I agree for the record).

    • Shel Ingram

Yea, I didn’t realize that I had posted it as a reply. I apologized to the moderator. My fault. I’m still upset that they completely dismissed Bernie Sanders which the mainstream media, all of them have been doing this entire election. In fact, it’s made me so angry that I no longer watch any mainstream media on TV. I am boycotting them b/c why should I waste my time when I know that they’re lying, distorting, mis-informing and brain washing American’s for the Oligarchs.

  • Westcoastliberal

It’s not just a label. Barbara Boxer (the provocateur at the Nevada Convention) is related to Hillary Clinton. It’s all a family business!

“Born November 11, 1940, Barbara Boxer won her first political campaign in 1976, and represented California in Congress from 1983 to 1992, when she was elected Senator. A Democrat, Boxer opposed the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and the authorization for use of military force in Iraq in 2002. Her daughter married Hillary Clinton’s brother at the White House in 1994.”

(This marriage was dissolved by divorce.)

By the way that Hillary brother that was married to Nicole Boxer (Barbara Boxer’s daughter) is Tony Rodham:

So, it’s not just a label.

  • Jeannette Leonard Fridley

She should have never been allowed to run in the first place She is under two criminal investigations!

  • Randy

This what I have been saying for a long time now; she’ll bow out in exchange for being pardoned of her crimes against humanity. We first saw this with Ford pardoning Nixon in exchange for being appointed POTUS. I was still in high school when that happened and saw what was coming! I called it and very few thought that it would happen, until after it DID happen! It was all “No, he wouldn’t do that!” Then it was all “Well of COURSE he was going to do that! It was so easy to see it!”
How many people have died in order to satisfy her lust for power?? How many lives have Shitlery and Slick Willie ruined in one way or another, in their insatiable drive for domination over everyone else? Their moral depravity knows no bounds!! They will gladly step on and kill anyone who dares to get in their way and not even bat an eye over it.

    • Bill Granberry

Randy, in your comment above close to the end you stated, “They will gladly step on and kill anyone who dares to get in their way and not even bat an eye over it.”
I don’t know how many people they have killed back in Arkansas, but not soon after Bill Clinton and Killery moved into the White House a childhood friend of Bill’s , Deputy White House Counsel Vince Foster was murdered (of course was called suicied, no way he could have shot himself the way the gun was found in his hand) , he was shot in the neck not in his mouth as was stated. People that commit suicied don’t shoot themselves in the neck. By the way there was no entrance wound found in the mouth as was stated back then, but there was an entrance wound found in the neck with the bullet traveling upward thru Mr. Foster neck into his brain. But no exit hole was found in Foster’s head but a mushy spot was found, no hole as was stated in the original report. Sergeant Robert Edwards helped killed Vince Foster!

      • Randy

This is the first time that I’ve heard of Edwards, but it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to find out the gory details of how VF actually died. And I’m sure that to him, the method would take a very far back seat to the fact that people whom he trusted for many years had not only betrayed him, but killed him too!!
My copy of Bloodsport got tossed out by mistake when I moved, but I remember enough of it to know that Shitlery is as cold blooded as they come. In fact, I’m not sure how she maintains such good posture, what with her spending so much time slithering around on her belly!! All she needs is a rattle on her fat ass to warn others to not get too close to her!
