NASA Mars Mission Fakery Gives False Impression of Competence
By Daily Bell Staff - April 04, 2016

NASA’s Bolden: Mars mission is ‘closer than ever’ … In the movie, “The Martian,” Matt Damon was a fictional astronaut stranded on Mars. In reality, the head of NASA says astronauts could set foot on the Red Planet within the next twenty years. “We think we’re on the right trajectory to get humans to Mars in the 2030’s,” NASA Administrator Charles Bolden told CNBC’s “On the Money” in an interview this week. -CNBC

More lies from NASA. This is an agency that apparently went to the moon 45 years ago but can’t manage a repeat. And now its top bureaucrats are announcing they’ll get to Mars within 20 years.

NASA is symptomatic of so much of what is wrong with the United States right now. It’s an overstuffed agency relying on hype and mischaracterizations to secure its nearly US$20 billion yearly budget from Congress.

At NASA, lying has been institutionalized at the highest levels. Like another white elephant, the Hadron Collider, NASA makes a great many claims that when looked at closely are questionable at best.

-Iconic blue-marble earth photo is a photo-shopped composite: This is a photo so famous it was used on Apple’s initial iPhone and was supposedly taken at great distance by moon-bound Apollo 17 astronauts. But here’s the reality, according to FellowoftheMinds.com:

Rendered in simple English, NASA is [admitting] that the 2002 “Blue Marble II” is not a photo. Instead, the image is a COMBINATION and COMPOSITE of many “satellite-based observations” (whatever that means), which were “stitched together” (whatever that means) by scientists and “visualizers” (whatever that means).

-Famous moon rock is actually petrified wood: According to a 2009 UK Telegraph report: “Curators at Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum … discovered that the ‘lunar rock’, valued at £308,000, was in fact petrified wood. Xandra van Gelder, who oversaw the investigation, said the museum would continue to keep the stone as a curiosity.”

-Russian spokesman claims fakery: Just recently, the UK Daily Mail reported that Vladimir Markin a spokesman for the Russian government, implied the existence of faked reports regarding NASA moon landings. The admissions are being blamed on rising tensions between the US and Russia.

-Possible murder of outspoken NASA critic Virgil “Gus” Grissom: Grissom once hung a lemon on a NASA rocket and professed considerable doubts about the manned moon progtram.   He died in the Apollo 1 fire, January 1967, along with astronauts Ed White and Roger Chaffee.

Here, from a report in Star magazine (probably one of the only mass-market publications that would carry the allegations at the time):

[Grissom’s son] said he recently was granted access to the charred capsule and discovered a “fabricated” metal plate located behind a control panel switch. The switch controlled the capsules’ electrical power source from an outside source to the ship’s batteries. Grissom argues that the placement of the metal plate was an act of sabotage. When one of the astronauts toggled the switch to transfer power to the ship’s batteries, a spark was created that ignited a fireball.

-Thomas Baron’s report goes missing: After Grissom’s death, congressional hearings were held. One NASA inspector,Thomas Baron, provided a voluminous report that was highly critical of NASA.

Baron almost immediately lost his job and only a week after providing testimony died with his wife when his car was hit by an oncoming train. Investigators labeled the deaths of a suicide. Baron’s report vanished and has never been seen again.

None of this is anomalous. In the 20th century, the US government participated in false flag after false flag.

-Operation Mockingbird: Saw US intelligence agents placed in the offices of the US’s most important publications such as Time and the Washington Post. These agents supervised reports that were fabricated to support US foreign and domestic policy decisions.

-Operation Paperclip: Provided top Nazi scientists to both the US and Russia. Supposedly Russia received the best scientists to make sure that the technology race into space would seem viable and realistic.

-Operation Gladio: Ran for decades and supported mostly leftist terrorist groups in Europe that engaged in acts of violence. The idea was to frighten Europe’s middle classes into acquiescing to the Anglosphere-led status quo.

US entry into Vietnam War staged: It’s general knowledge now that the US entry into the Vietnam war was a hoax.  Reports involving the 1964 Gulf of Tonkin incident – where US warships were supposedly attacked by North Vietnamese PT Boats –never actually occurred.

Questions about nuclear bombs:  There is little doubt that at least some of the photos and videos of nuclear “test” blasts are faked. Many of the images being debunked can be found on Youtube. Questions have even been raised about the “nuclear” bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, as the devastation seems to align itself with fire-bombings prevalent at the time. Officials working near the cities were asked to exaggerate casualties.

The 21st century has seen a continuation of false flags, often for purposes of increasing budgets, especially in the military-industrial and foreign and domestic intelligence sectors.

NASA chief Charles Bolden (see excerpt above), who recently hyped NASA’s achievements in an interview with CNBC, has claimed elsewhere that deviating from NASA’s goal of reaching Mars in the 2030s would be disastrous. More:

Bolden told “On The Money” that a big part of his legacy will involve “making sure we’re on a steady path to Mars and that we can get there in the 2030’s. We’re a lot closer than ever before.”

The fakery associated with NASA never seems to stop. Increasingly, popular videos cast doubt on NASA’s photos of Mars. One widely reproduced photo includes a squirrel hiding among the Mars “rocks.”

NASA has recreated a Mars-like environment on Devon Island, Canada and regularly simulates “Rover” exercises. Critics claim this is where the Mars photos actually come from. NASA has, in fact, admitted to colorizing and otherwise adjusting photos released for public consumption.

While it is still  hard for people to accept that NASA, and Western agencies generally, would lie about significant programs and their results, it seems obvious that one should question almost any assertion coming out of Washington these days.

It is easier, after all, to tell a large lie than a small one. And in the 21st century, Washington (the West in general) seems addicted to big lies. Recently, for instance, it’s emerged that the Food and Drug Administration covered up evidence of a link between autism and vaccines.

Don’t take government assertions at face value, or even assertions by those who are allied with government services and benefit from government statements.

Conclusion: Maintain your skepticism. Question your support for even the most seemingly “useful” programs such as those provided by NASA. It is tempting to rely on government but most of the time that’s a false hope. Rely on yourself as much as possible and the opportunities you can develop with your own talent and skill, or along with others such as family members, friends and close colleagues.

OMG Conspiracy!!!! Illuminati dun dun duuuuunnnnn

    • Where is the conspiracy? The article is about US false flags and NASA exaggerations.

    • Henry Balfour

Wait …. your’e saying that oxygen/magnesium is a conspiracy ? Ah, no – I see … you are being complacent and patronising. How ‘cute’. Go somewhere they need that.

  • Praetor

Why would anyone go where there is no oxygen. 20 billion to keep PHDs employed for one years and then add it up for 20 years. More waste!!!

  • Blank Reg

Oh, please. Try telling Buzz Aldrin he didn’t really land on the moon, and see what happens.

    • The article is not about NASA’s moon landings.

    • Dimitri Ledkovsky

Maybe he was a brainwashed zombie like the rest of them.

    • Henry Balfour

try examining the Lander simulations, and see what happens.

  • Ernie Hopkins

Actually asking the astronauts about the moon landings can be quite enlightening. And not in support of having been there, at least based on the public meme. Several researchers have actually done this. Dark Mission is one of several works that addresses this.

Fabulous space adventures are possible, but they can’t build a website properly?

The DB made this observation recently. For me this drives it home. On one hand we see the staggering incompetence of government. In the other, we see the fantastic promotions of government.

The media presents government institutions as if they were composed of infallible supermen. I suppose this is necessary to rationalize central planning. Wise technocrats act as market oracles, giving forward guidance. Everyday citizens are transformed into Hollywood’s superheroes after obediently completing their military training.

Meanwhile, government officials can’t find a better way for you to renew your driver’s license…

    • r2bzjudge

“Fabulous space adventures are possible, but they can’t build a website properly?”

GM built some really great cars, then they built junk cars. Things go in cycles.

The web site wasn’t built by the same engineers that built the Apollo space program. Steve Jobs was kicked out of Apple and Apple went down hill after that. Jobs went back and the company thrived greatly.

      • Interesting points. Who was the NASA “visionary” in this case?

  • mary

Our father worked for RCA. Sometime in the late 60s, around the time of the Apollo missions, he came home from work and excitedly showed us a computer printout where the computer played him to a draw in tic tac toe. It was the first time the computer was able to do that and he was amazed. Now, you are telling me that at the same time, NASA was able to land men on the moon and bring them back alive, relying on computers with less power than the chip in your wrist watch, these high tech miracles that had just achieved the unbelievable feat of not losing tic tac toe?

Part of the reason NASA gets away with this crap is that young people are so astoundingly ignorant that they think that the current technology has always been available, and old people have totally forgotten what their lives were like growing up.

The military-industrial-complex, all of gov’t really, is one big hoax, from false flags to the cold war, from fake atomic bombs to goofy moon landings and squirrels on Mars. It’s all in the service of profits.

I believe that the moon landing actually took place . . . and I’ll tell you why:

Prior to the moon landing, the consensus of “scientists” was that the universe was billions of years old and that the accumulation of dust on the moon would be many hundreds of feet deep, accumulating at a rate of 14 Million Tons of Dust Per Year. Unlike on earth, there is no rain to compact it or carry it away, so all it does is accumulate.

In 1959 a supposedly “brilliant” scientist named Isaac Asimov was quoted in Science Digest (January 1959, p. 36) as having said: “I get a picture, therefore, of the first spaceship, picking out a nice level place for landing purposes, coming in slowly downward tail-first and sinking majestically out of sight.”

The lunar lander was designed with “snowshoes” to prevent it from sinking down into many feet of dust. The ladder was short of ground level by 18 inches in anticipation of deep dust.

If the moon landings were faked, this is how it would have been depicted.

Even Neil Armstrong was very concerned about the dust on the moon, but found it to be only about a half an inch. [See transcript of conversations from the Moon, Chicago Tribune, 21 July 1969, Section 1, p. 1, and Paul D. Ackerman, “It’s a Young World After All” (Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, 1986), p. 19.]

    • mary

That’s it? Erroneous speculation on the amount of dust, and you’re convinced? What am I missing here?

      • Pilgrim

If the moon landing was done in a studio, they would have staged it landing in deep deep dust because that’s what they were expecting.

Since it actually took place on the moon, they weren’t in control of the fact that there isn’t that much accumulated dust supporting the bible teaching that the moon, like the earth, is only 6,000 years old. Quite an embarrassment for the old earth theory crowd.

        • misterkel

As an old Earth theorist, I can only hang my head in shame.
I am roundly depantsed. The moon and Earth must only be 6000 years old as your Bible theorists have painstakingly tortured the book into revealing.
I’m convinced by the half inch of moon dust. No other explanation is possible.

          • Pilgrim

            You’re welcome.

          • misterkel

            oops – I forgot! – /sarc off

Asimov could have just been wrong about his ‘moon dust’ theory. It really needs a LOT more evidence to prove the moon is only 6000 years old.

          • Of course there ALREADY IS LOTS of such proof. Go look. I used to think not and flipped with the evidence.

          • Pilgrim

How much evidence is required depends on how indoctrinated you are in your position. Personally, I love evidence because it all agrees with my views. Stratified geologic layers? Boom! Laid down in the flood. No transitional forms in the fossil record? Boom! God created animals reproducing after their kind. Moon getting further from the earth by 3-4 inches every year? Works for me, but if you think dinosaurs lived 200 million years ago, you have a problem with the ocean tides washing over the continents twice a day with the moon being only 60 miles above the earth’s surface. Geologic column has clams at the bottom where unicellular life forms should be? Of course, clams were at the bottom when the flood began and that’s where they end up in the geologic layers. Sun still shining after “millions of years” and not running out of whatever energy source powers it? Not a problem is it’s only been shining 6,000 years. If it’s “millions of years old” and still has enough gravity to keep planets in orbit that’s a problem.

You got evidence? I got answers.

        • James Clander

          — -and “your” God made the Moon -right ?

“Rendered in simple English, NASA is [admitting] that the 2002 “Blue Marble II” is not a photo. Instead, the image is a COMBINATION and COMPOSITE of many “satellite-based observations”

A 2002 composite has nothing to do with the Apollo 17 photograph of the Earth.

“Famous moon rock is actually petrified wood”

I have seen a piece of Moon rock at a JPL open house. It did not look like petrified wood.

“the UK Daily Mail reported that Vladimir Markin a spokesman for the
Russian government, implied the existence of faked reports regarding
    NASA moon landings”

The Moon landings actually happened. The Moon photography could not be faked in a movie studio or on some location set. Watch The Moon scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey. It looks fake. That is because it is fake, shot in a studio, under artificial lighting.

The Apollo Moon photography occurred under natural sunlight. They had to actually be on The Moon, in order to take those photographs and movies.

Myth Busters even dedicated a program to busting the claims that the Moon landings were hoaxes.

The Moon landings actually did occur. The only hoax is by those claiming that they didn’t.

The Apollo 1 cabin atmosphere was supposedly 100% oxygen. That would not have resulted in a fireball. It would have allowed for a fire to grow quickly in a pure oxygen atmosphere. The information released at the time, was consistent with that being the case. The fire may have started when that switch was thrown, but i doubt there was any sabotage involved.

  • John Stewart

Excellent article. Great work. There is another lie by NASA which is probably the biggest they have ever been involved in. You can find it here ItsHisStory.com/globe

  • I can believe the shenanigans listed (the perpetrators of such fraud are the firewall hiding the absolute proof), but there is one official assertion easy enough to check. That would be the laser that NASA says the moon mission left on the moon.

(Even if they got there and back, dirty tricks are guaranteed..)

  • alohajim

Nobody wants to believe that everything they were ever taught and ‘know’ to be true is a lie. This is the reason that it’s impossible to even try and argue or express the truth of our world to anyone who has not already discovered this. Fantastic article, thanks DB. The moon landings were obviously faked and all anyone needs to understand this is one’s own common sense. Somehow, the bankers who own, rule, and run our world disovered and mastered mass brainwashing techniques that has produced a ‘hive mind’ mentality that ensures that people willingly wrap chains around their own necks and feel good about it. Orwell and Huxley didn’t write fiction that became our reality, they were privy to the plan.

So knowing that this massive con falls apart once the truth is known how can we best help the millions (billions?) of people blinded by their own hive mind to begin the process of discovery that leads to the truth? Most seekers of alternate news sites are already with the program – lots of comfirmation and preaching to the choir. How can someone who not only trusts the media/government/corporations/banks, and could never imagine that they are all fingers of the same hand engaged in legalized theft and tyranny against humanity, be reached?

    • Thanks, you are more pessimistic than we are. We think centralized control is failing and that propaganda is increasingly falling on deaf ears. People with little time to spend on these issues may not understand the totality of their manipulation but many understand more about it than they did 10 or 20 years ago. That’s partially because of the Internet and in our view this trend will continue to increase over time. A “communication revolution” like this one is hard to derail.

    • r2bzjudge

The Moon landings were not faked.
