The Internet Just Debunked the NY Post’s War on Terror
By Daily Bell Staff - June 21, 2016

Why did the White House just humiliate Loretta Lynch? … Idiotic: That’s the only word for the Obama administration’s move to scrub references to Islam or ISIS from the transcripts of Orlando terrorist Omar Mateen’s calls.  Under an avalanche of ridicule, the Justice Department on Monday relented and released the full transcripts. But what was the point? –NY Post

The war on terror is a Western invention.

But not according to this New York Post editorial.

The writers are indignant that Obama is refusing to tell the truth about America’s enemies.

Fine: President Obama wants to make this about gun control, not terrorism — but ham-handed editing only calls attention to what you’re deleting, and to Obama’s peevish rules against uttering terms like “radical Islam.”

All the omissions did was make Team Obama look determined to keep its head in the sand about the nature of the enemy.  Even the “explanations” sounded dumb.

The editorial quotes Attorney General Lynch as saying on ABC’s “This Week” that it was not the administration’s intention to “proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda.”

The Post editorial grows even more indignant.

“Further his propaganda? Seriously?” the article asks.

These are rhetorical questions. For the Post, it’s simple.

The Obama administration just isn’t telling the truth.

The Post wants the administration to properly identify the “enemy.”

“The answer to Islamist jihad is to black out the words?” the paper sneers.

So there we have it. America is facing “radical Islam” and “Islamist Jihad.”

The Post tells us so.

But wait, not so fast. The truth is a few clicks away on the Internet.

Here’s one article on the War on Terror, posted at

It’s written by Garikai Chengu, a research scholar at Harvard University.

The title: “America Created Al-Qaeda and the ISIS Terror Group.”

Terror attacks or mass shootings allegedly perpetrated by the ISIS, the question that should be asked: who are the State sponsors of  Al Qaeda and the ISIS?

Much like Al Qaeda, the Islamic State (ISIS) is made-in-the-USA, an instrument of terror designed to divide and conquer the oil-rich Middle East and to counter Iran’s growing influence in the region.

The fact that the United States has a long and torrid history of backing terrorist groups will surprise only those who watch the news and ignore history.

The CIA first aligned itself with extremist Islam during the Cold War era … The director of the National Security Agency under Ronald Reagan, General William Odom recently remarked, “by any measure the U.S. has long used terrorism.”

… During the 1970′s the CIA used the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt as a barrier, both to thwart Soviet expansion and prevent the spread of Marxist ideology among the Arab masses.

The United States also openly supported Sarekat Islam against Sukarno in Indonesia, and supported the Jamaat-e-Islami terror group against Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in Pakistan.

Last but certainly not least, there is Al Qaeda.  Lest we forget, the CIA gave birth to Osama Bin Laden and breastfed his organization during the 1980s.

Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, told the House of Commons that Al Qaeda was unquestionably a product of Western intelligence agencies. Mr. Cook explained that Al Qaeda, which literally means an abbreviation of “the database” in Arabic, was originally the computer database of the thousands of Islamist extremists, who were trained by the CIA and funded by the Saudis, in order to defeat the Russians in Afghanistan.

This is fairly clear, is it not?

Modern wars, like most wars, are actually aimed at domestic middle classes.

The idea is to keep people perpetually frightened and under control.

The Post could have mentioned the truth about the war on terror, but instead the editorial simply repeated anti-Islam propaganda.

Sure, there are violent Islamic sects. The Saudi Wahhabis are violent and cruel.

But the US built the Wahhabi threat along with the Saudis.

Conclusion: The truth on a variety of subjects is easily available on the Internet. And that’s probably why despite warmongering efforts of editorial boards like the Post’s, the New Crusade against Islam have yet to fully take hold.

You don’t have to play by the rules of the corrupt politicians, manipulative media, and brainwashed peers.

Biggest Currency Reboot in 100 Years?
In less than 3 months, the biggest reboot to the U.S. dollar in 100 years could sweep America.
It has to do with a quiet potential government agreement you’ve never heard about.

The irony about all of this is that everything seems to be coming full circle. Obama keeps avoiding any intensive efforts to “defeat” ISIS because he claims they really aren’t the threat we all think they are, which is what “the internet” is claiming too.

ISIS and the “war on terrorism” is supposed to scare “the middle class” but they’re not scared, don’t seem to care about terrorism, don’t seem to feel the need to protect themselves with their own guns, and don’t want even a temporary ban on Muslims. They act like the whole thing is western invention.

The Post wants the Obama administration to tell “the truth” about terrorism, but not that it’s a western invention, but that’s its real.

The Pentagon and MIC want terrorism to be real and ISIS to be evil, not that they’re an invention but a real enemy that needs to be defeated.

Trump says ISIS is the source of ME terror and should be defeated but the establishment and MSM doesn’t want him to be elected because of what he might do.

The last religious war, 1618 – 1648, was so brutal it left no family on either side unscathed. It ended, as all religious wars do, only in mutual exhaustion. Europeans agreed that future wars would not be over religious beliefs.

Thanks to the arrogance, incompetence, and ignorance of history prevailing in American leadership, we now have Messianic Exceptionalism (remember the Shining City on the Hill? and America, the Indispensable Nation?) against Messianic Islam, just 25% or the entire world population.

30 years won’t be enough time to exhaust the warriors on both sides.

Wars begin when on side thinks it has the overwhelming advantage, and the war will be over quickly.

Most recent example is Iraq War I which began with American hubris. Hitler’s generals trusted their Blitzkrieg. Napoleon misjudged his opponents.

        • Mart

If one side does not have overwhelming advantage, it’s still possible to win by quiet infiltration, especially if you manage to get people confused and install “friendly” president, just like Hussain Obama

          • Mart

And buy some “minor” politicians, just like Hillary got 20% of finance from Saudis.

      • Goldcoaster

That’s what I was thinking. If push ever comes to shove, we win.

Don’t be so sure. Both the Russians and the Chinese have far superior weapons systems; just ask the sailors on board the US Destroyer that was EMP’d in the Black Sea.

Characterizing this as a religious war is exactly what one side in the “Clash of Civilizations” wants so as to receive First Amendment protection from the other side. One side is a complete system of unchanging laws, religious, criminal and civil, a complete prescription for living. One side has a sophisticated strategy and multiple tactics that are applied depending upon the disposition of the enemy. One side knows what it wants is patient and relentless, able to take advantage of large and small weaknesses. One side cares nothing for the miscellaneous and ephemeral political correctness, multiculturalism, cultural Marxism, democracy, individual liberty, etc., etc. One has many strategies that the other side cannot even see or refuses to see.

The other side is as you say, arrogant, incompetent, ignorant of history and its adversary; even silly. This side is powerful, but already exhausted and bankrupt. It just hasn’t realized it yet. This side has only transparent strategies involving regime change and military force, while the offensive of the other side continues apace and under the surface.

How do you think this is going to come out? A more important question for us as individuals is when?

      • FreeOregon

I keep hearing echoes from the collapse of the Soviet Union. Yes, there were spots of violence on the periphery and also at least 10 years of Russian thugs breaking into homes, stealing, extorting, kidnapping and generally exploiting citizens.

What will happen when our thugs come home? Do we already see some of that with the police?

There were some devastating wars in particular regions of the former USSR, but overall Communism evaporated as if from exhaustion, and relatively peacefully.

I see that process already underway in the US. Perhaps the American form of state force and threats of violence – what we call “progressive”- will simply wither away. Not exactly as Marx envisioned, but wither nonetheless.

If people are “progressive” as a culture you do not need government threats and force. Think Proudon’s vision of a stateless society. People who actually care about one another might begin by listening to one another.

Unable to achieve peace, our military seems well prepared to fight the last war. Just look at the difference between what the Russians accomplish in Syria and what the US fails to accomplish in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Afghanistan. The US is spread too thin. So thin it now wants to draft women.

Are the Russians that much smarter? Perhaps. Do they have better equipment? Perhaps. Meanwhile NATO engages in silly parades in Eastern Europe, as if to assure everyone it’s still relevant.

BREXIT or not, the EU will break apart. Keep in mind that Germany is a colony, that Merkel is not really an independent actor. Did the NSA blackmail her?

By the end of 2017 there will be new leadership in the US and in Europe, and people will blame it for what’s coming.

By 2018 there will be a new international means of settling trade, if not a new currency. Already we see increasing corporate bankruptcies. Pension funds cannot meet their obligations in a ZIRP and NIRP world. Antal Fekete forecast years ago that banks in a falling rate environment would suddenly discover themselves insolvent.

What’s really needed is a Jubilee of Biblical proportions for all debt, public and private. Best to leave the means of production with their present owners rather than shift everything to the creditors. But already you see Central Banks buying equities in the markets. I would simply print money not backed by debt and make all the creditors whole. If they want to use the funds they can only invest in the United States.

Post Jubilee I would eliminate all government borrowing and politics would no longer be a career. Might be a good thing if people were unwilling to lend to governments.

Is Hillary our corrupt Brezhnev? Trump, our Yeltsin?

Putin seems to think if he can avoid war long enough the US will defeat itself.

Even in dictatorships “consent of the governed” has meaning. The genius of American capitalism was getting people to work voluntarily, to be productive, to create. As government becomes more repressive people will become less cooperative. The producers may retreat to various havens. In principle Galt’s Gulches are possible.

One forecast is that by 2032 power in the US will have devolved from Washington back to local communities. If so, we face considerable upheaval.

I work at a University and even there, mucho of the professors I’m around note that the TSA have not stopped even 1 “terrorist” and are quite aggravated. Then, I go home and have some Bernie friends, same thing. It seems no one I talk to favor this “war” on “terror”. And, certainly, they hate been harrassed by the TSA.

  • Goldcoaster

Obviously the NYP did their job. They deflected from the issue.
And then they say Trump will create terrorists with his temporary ban on muslim immigration until we have in place better vetting procedures.
All the while conveniently forgetting that our Foreign Policy creates/created the terrorists. Like Hillary in Libya, Syria and elsewhere.

  • apberusdisvet

That the US funds and supports terrorists is old news, but rarely mentioned are the 2 agendas; 1) create hegemony for Israel in MENA, and 2) create terror so that in the end assets can be had for pennies on the dollar by the banking cartel and its cronies. The 5th column in the US is largely comprised of dual citizen Israelis which comprise the group of psychopathic neocons behind 9/11 and the other false flags.

Yeah, the USA created ISIS, my as s. USA did not written Quran or invented Muhammad. They destabilized existing dictatorship and gave them weapons, but the rest is violent nature of Muslim CULTURE. And you can wait to see the same in the USA.
You’re just looking for excuses for Muslim. If they would be able to change, they would leave Islam, but the opposite is true.
There are no violent Islamic sects, there is only violent Quran and murdering thieving lying pedophile Muhammad which is example every Muslim has to follow. On the contrary, all Islam is radical, just some Muslim are too afraid and/or too good people to carry out orders to kill, maim, enslave and rape from Quran and Hadith. No one can ensure that every particular Muslim, their children and grandchildren will always be too afraid to carry out these orders.

    • nathenism

yet WE are murdering THEM by the millions…WE are destroying THEIR countries…our governments stage the terrorist attacks that they get blamed for…all you are doing is projecting our crimes onto our victims because you don’t want to feel bad about it…both hitler and bush cited christianity as integral to their cause, but no one is trying to blame christianity…the bible is full of the same barbaric calls to violence and murder as the quran…i’m tired of the mindless bigotry getting so popular with the alternative crowd…me thinks the government is behind it…they are getting into our paradigm and sowing their seeds of hatred and self destruction…they obviously got to some of us like alex jones but i’m not fooled one bit…

      • Kafirs Uber Alles

“our governments stage the terrorist attacks that they get blamed for.”

So ISIS is composed of kaffir CIA agents?

        Well said

  • olde reb

Al-Qaeda and the ISIS terror group are the evolved methods of operation that were created by Kermit Roosevelt to overthrow Iranian Ayatollah Khomeini in 1953. The
British oil wells were in jeopardy of being nationalized. Kermit used the CIA to organize, fund, and arm the threatened British oil field workers and local political dissidents. Kermit then installed the oppressive Shah.

John Perkins mentions the CIA’s profuse use of the tactic to overthrow nations that will not “go along” in his CONFESSIONS OF ECONOMIC HIT MAN.

Since central banking causes inflation, and inflation creates diminishing returns, corporations need ever increasing sources of revenue. In 1871 the US incorporated. Like any corporation, government constantly needs new revenue streams. Unlike most corporations, the US doesn’t create wealth, it consumes the wealth of others. What the US does create is illusion. The big red monster across the ocean was the goose that laid golden eggs. People were willing to pay more in taxes so the government could deal with the big red monster.

But the big red monster was defeated! Oh No, cried the politicians, what will we replace it with? Construction began on a big green monster. Enter the Mujahideen,, Al Queda, ISIS and all the other players waving their little green flags.

Unfortunately, playing one group of muslims against another group of muslims is a ploy muslims know all too well. They’ve been playing strategy mind games for centuries and recognized it immediately. They simply let the naive American players think they were succeeding while they quietly shared the resources being fed into the theater to serve their own agenda. They’ve got 25% of the world’s population and oil money beau coup, so a war of attrition works for them. They even got their own guy into the oval office to help them out. The most effective fifth-column the world has ever known.

Obama has been importing terrorists, OOPS, I mean “refugees” (wink wink, nudge nudge) knowing that foreign terrorism isn’t nearly as persuasive as domestic terrorism, particularly if your goal is the disarmament of people. After all, there are only three sources of governmental authority 1.) The consent of the governed, 2.) The absolute authority of man’s sovereign creator (i.e. his commandments) and the third source of authority is raw tyranny, aka 3.) The consolidation of arms utilized against an unarmed populace.

The imported terrorist, whoops, I mean “refugees” were supposed to know the play book, but a couple of them went off prematurely. Oops!

The board is all set up and the players are choosing their markers waiting for November.

Do you feel like a pawn yet?

I don’t know if it’s even true that the CIA set up Al Qaeda or ISIS. If they did, i’d be willing to bet that they set them up to act against some entity other than the US or a US ally. Then, as often happens, once the organization existed it started to move in new directions.

I don’t KNOW either way — but I think the alternative I suggest above is likely to have been the case.

I know that what this article says is true, that we feed these groups in order to satisfy a single, constant, overwhelming obsession: keep Russia down at all costs. But observing that we facilitate these organizations in every possible way does not mean that at this point we don’t have to fight them. What we have done is like unleashing biological weapons on our “enemies” without considering that the pox is transmitted through the air, and now it is attacking us. We didn’t “create” the mindset that is radical Islam-that mindset has existed since Mohammed, and was the cause of the Crusades a millennium ago: Europe did not attack Muslim countries out of the blue, but only after centuries of attacks by Islam. What our current deplorable foreign policy has done is to feed, encourage, organize, and support this mindset, and it has turned against us, as any reasonable person should have been able to anticipate. We in the West need to know exactly how this came about, but understanding how our government did this to us is no longer enough to stop the disaster. We can’t turn it off with acts of contrition and showing ‘love and understanding’ to those who are hell bent to kill us.
