TIME Suggests Another 9/11 Is Necessary to Re-direct American Anger
By Daily Bell Staff - July 08, 2016

America’s Anger Is Out of Control Jeffrey Kluger … After the September 11 attacks, TIME’s Lance Morrow wrote a powerful essay titled, “The Case for Rage and Retribution,” in which he argued: “For once let’s have no fatuous rhetoric about ‘healing.’ A day cannot live in infamy without the nourishment of rage. Let’s have rage. What’s needed is a unified, unifying, Pearl Harbor sort of purple American fury—a ruthless indignation that doesn’t leak away in a week or two…”  – TIME

As we can see from the above statement, Jeff Kluger has in mind another convulsive episode like Pearl Harbor or 9/11 that will unify the “anger” that Americans feel.

Kluger seems to imply that this anger is stemming from current elections. His concern is that it is spilling over into other areas of life.

If every offensive, unjust or insulting incident turns into a jolt of high-fructose fury mainlined straight to the brain’s amygdala, what’s left when there’s a truly right and righteous reason to rise up in anger? And those important moments do occur.

Kluger seems to be saying that anger has become fashionable and applying anger liberally trivializes it.

Also, if Americans are angry about many things, that makes for a dysfunctional society rather than a unified one.

Kluger obviously wants a unified America. In order for rage to be unifying it needs to be a “purple American fury.”

This is actually a somewhat cynical assessment of how to manipulate anger in our view.

Why do we need another Pearl Harbor or 9/11 just so Americans can feel unified?

Why should “Americans” feel unified anyway? And, really, what is an “American?”

Because the “anger in America” meme is ubiquitous in the mainstream media at the moment, there are many other commentaries on it.

Here’s one from CNN by Michael Smerconish:

Are the voters really mad as hell? … voters, many of them in the GOP, have outsized weight in politics … The anger that threatens Washington based on partisanship is metastasizing. Now is the time to take back control of our political debate.

Remember, when Howard Beale asked Americans to shout outside that they were “mad as hell”, many followed. It’s time for the rest of us to close our windows.

CNN is asking us to “close our windows” and not listen to people who are “angry” about the state of America’s politics and economy.

TIME is hopeful that this anger can be channeled into some horrible, outsized event that will unify the current emotional anarchy.

Both of these editorials seem frightened by anger. But the description trivializes what is going on.

People aren’t just “angry.” Many are extraordinarily upset about certain events taking place in the USA. It’s not simply an inchoate emotion.

Millions upon millions are angry over the reduction in freedoms and the rise of the fedgov political class.

They are worried and anxious about police shootings, gun confiscation and a general trend toward increased authoritarianism all around them.

They don’t recognize America anymore. It feels like a fascist or socialist country.

Like Kluger’s article, Smerconish’s CNN piece suggests ways that the electorate’s anger can be reduced.

His solution to American anger is to change voting laws so that “silent ones” have more impact and are more noticeable.

That would make the anger less visible. Eventually, people would calm down.

We don’t believe in either of these solutions.

It is not a good idea to root for another major national tragedy in order to resolve American anger. And  changing voter laws to empower people who are not angry surely does not address the causes of the anger.

Conclusion: What will make people less angry in this case is more freedom. But freedom is rarely given and mostly manipulated. If you want to be free, you will have to do it yourself. Get out of debt. Store gold and silver. Find alternative living arrangements in case of an emergency. Don’t leave it up to mainstream punditry to determine how to deal with what you feel. Inevitably, their solutions will not lessen problems but increase them.

You don’t have to play by the rules of the corrupt politicians, manipulative media, and brainwashed peers.

The criminals had better be concerned about American anger. If they try to re-direct it with a false flag, it will only come back to bite them.

  • robertsgt40

These guys been drinking/smoking too much. They already used the “Pearl Harbor” meme on 911 which was voiced in PNAC.

  • Guy Christopher

Time gag-a-mag is late to the game. Most of us have known since 9-12 it will take another 9-11, not to wake Americans up, (the last one did not), but to prove once and for all government can not and will not and never intended to protect the individual. Anger is not out of control. Anger is now channeled to some of the places it needs to be directed.

    • Samarami

Right. Can’t help smiling each time I read something about psychopaths acting under the guise of “state” or “government” being “…out-of-control…” That means they are in perfect control — keeping their underlings in a state of fright, and/or anger. You have to understand lunatics to see the ridiculousness of the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Political action is necessary to the ordering of any large group of people – small group, as well – much less, in a mass of people such as a nation. It is the way that power is legitimately distributed. You don’t have to participate in it, but, then, you will have no voice either.

    • Ephraiyim

GJ has said in several statements that he supports the war on terrorism. This seems to indicate one of two possibilities. One, he is ignorant of history and current affairs or two, he is also an elitist lackey trying to disguise himself as a freedom loving libertarian. Either way, he cannot be trusted.

    • jhnjul

Gary Johnson is a fraud, controlled opposition.

  • Praetor

I won’t comment on the lackeys for the ‘man’, it will just make me angry!

Anger is a stressor, its beneficial show there is a problem that needs resolving, holding onto anger just keeps the problem undercover.

The anger we see in U.S of the Americas society is repressed anger. In the U.S. you are suppose to be happy, no need for anger, you live in the greatest country on the earth, so no need for anger, BS.

I’ve come across this people who suppresses their anger their are a lot of them, the younger ones. Anger is caused by a problem and their problem is a lose of liberty and freedom, and they know it. BOOM.

The collective knows how to start conflicts, they just don’t know how to stop them!!!

since it’s agreed that DC is the cause of the anger, how about ISIS (a branch of the “terrorist-creating” CIA) attack DC and make us all relieved (but when o’bama, shillary, kerry, holder, lynch and most of congress is there so we won’t have them around to be angry any more

Encouraging people to forsake reason for emotion has been the primary tactic of those who would control others. The reason they do so is that it works. Emotions effectively block our ability to think, always and inevitably.

“Why do we need another Pearl Harbor or 9/11 just so Americans can feel unified?”

We don’t need that in order to feel unified.

Obama said he was going to fundamentally change America. That is deliberately divisive. There is a major Leftist Agenda going on. Trigger Warnings, Safe Spaces, Check Your (white) Privilege and other leftist sloganeering.

We have a black President, yet race relations have declined. Why? It has been by design. Leftist Agenda. Democrats inject race every place they can. Democrats do not want to move forward despite forward being one of their slogans.

    • Ephraiyim

When I read crap like Kluger writes thoughts begin to turn as to whether we are being set up for another false flag/black ops scenario.
I am pretty well convinced that there is evidence of this with 9/11.
As to Pearl Harbor, I believe there is little doubt that FDR’s manichiations in the 2 or so years leading up to Pearl were in order to deliberately draw the Japanese in.
Remember that there were a large and growing number of Americans that were opposed to intervention militarily.
We forget that government’s are, primarily, concerned with their own perpetuation and growth. War has always been their go to plan when people begin to question either foreign or domestic policies.
Government is intrinsically evil. It will always take care of itself and those involved in it, whether elected or employed at the expense of the people it claims to serve!
If you doubt that go back and read the recent comments by our “illustrious” FBI Director on the Hillary investigations. 😯

r2bz, Democrats & ‘progressives’ like Killerie do a lot of projecting toward others what they really are. Hence any one who wants the US Constitution restored as the law of the land is a ‘terrorist’ conspiracy nut. If you want the borders controlled you are a racist. That kind of image reversal is one of their favorite deception tricks.

I think that underneath the lyin media headlines, talking head spin & such, that we are more unified than they like. I think that is why Trump has set records as an R candidate & one of the reasons the Donald is under such attack by establishment of all stripes. Hmm. Stripes. Most of them should be wearing them is prison. Especially 0, Bill & Killerie, Comey, Ryan…long list.

We are not formally united, but we, many of us at least, are joined by our ideals & anger with govt screwing US over all the time.

      Good thoughts you posted. Thanks.

I have been in 32 different countries or nation-states, in direct contact with over 40 nations, and met people from over 120 countries in my over sixty years on this planet. Only a handful of these entities have been disrespectful. Only one has been continuously angry and negative for as long as I can remember.

The United States is one of the disrespectful. It is that exceptionally angry and negative nation.

I propose that the American national anthem be changed to ‘Facade’, the song from the Broadway show Jekyll and Hyde, with some revision to the lyrics. For as long as I can remember, this nation’s energy has been directed to creating and sustaining at others’ expense a grandiose facade, a record biggest lie.

The facade is crumbling. There is no money left to buy not only goodies and distractions but also the necessities of life for these ‘people’. Obamacare probably was the last straw and now it will be a civil war necessarily of the scale of World War Two or the Thirty Years’ War, as a general inner cleansing.

Our duty is to understand this entire process and learn from it. Further, we must teach these lessons and provide solutions, as discussed here and other similar websites and forums, designed to prevent anyone serious about being alive from repeating the American experience.

    • 2bvictorius

Where are you now living. America,?
I have been to a few wonderful countries and met lots of great people, but, I would not consider living there.

America has never been perfect, but, it has made it possible for the rest of the world to throw away their personal weapons and military forces because Americans die defending them and their saintly admonitions about Americans being lovers of war and killing. I wonder how long those civilzed societies would exist without us. I say lets find out. Pull all of the troops out of every country where they now have a presence for any reason. I am personally against foreign interventions where force is used. If the people in those countries will not fight for their lives, that is a real problem for them, not I.

      • cat writer

        Regrettably I am in America.

After 21 years of dating and close calls, I finally married a foreign woman. Got her off a boat. We celebrate 21 years together this month. We will likely move to her place.

I do not look for or expect perfection. I look for honor, integrity, and progress. My wife is not perfect but she has those three qualities which are exceptional in Americans.

By the end of next year, we will be done here. I do not want to be on the playing field. I want to watch the games on television or online.

        • Praetor

Its not just the U.S. This is world wide issue. Everywhere will be effected in one form or another. It is global government they seek. Sorry to say!!!

It started in the USA. I have followed this for decades.

          • Sam Fox

cat, actually a lot of what is going on now started across the pond. One example, the ‘Federal’ Reserve came from & is owned by the Rothschild’s the Bank of England.
Ever watch Everything Is A Rich Man’s Trick
You can’t escape the NWO & their plans for a one world government by moving any where. Mars is just to far away. 😉

          • cat writer

Human beings in today’s America ALL came from across the pond. (OK, the first peoples walked in from Asia.)

With reference to a commentator above, we all take baggage with us from the clothes we wear to the attitudes we carry. This applies to the recent generations of ocean crossers.

There are places in the USA where one can still hear the British dialects of the 17th and 18th century: language that the Founding Fathers used in conversation. I had a girlfriend from that part of the country. Although she spoke to me with a Southern accent, I could not follow her conversations with her family.

The same applies to those people who followed this woman’s ancestors. Jews from Russia and Germany still fight the Tsar and Emperor, substituting the Yankee rulers for them, sitting on the left wing. The Germanics, including the English who, being here in force first thus forming the “power elite”, sit on the right wing. Europeans of all groups, among others, deal in the same currency of abuse just as was done back in their old countries. This is why today’s Americans are as abusive a people as ever existed.

Because of inertia and rewards, perceived or real, we proceed along a course until something gets in the way that requires we change course to get what we want, including living to see tomorrow. We could call that something in the way a lesson.

For centuries, America has run a course of behavior that was never sufficiently challenged. Americans therefore have continued on that course. Europe and Asia, first in 1618-1664, then in 1779-1815 and again in 1914-53 experienced the results of their attitudes and beliefs and made changes. I have always sensed the difference, especially on the personal level, but just recently understood why.

People speculate on what it would be like had the Axis or Fascist powers won or Communism survived past 1990. The answer is: Today’s United States. It has engaged in every bad behavior its Declaration of Independence cited and become like every enemy it has fought. I ask: Do we deserve and choose better than this?

Some people, mostly like us commenting in this blog and forum, have, want, and require styles interpersonal relationships based on peace, trade, reason, honor, integrity and friendship. We require this because humans are weak animals and organize communities along these lines for long-term survival.

However, we are rarities in America. Those believing and desiring otherwise are a much larger market. If we want change, besides being and acting out that change we want for ourselves in this world, we will also require that other side face their overdue karmic lessons and develop the stomach to witness the spectacle.

  • Stop Bush and Clinton

And that may well be why they’re pushing so hard to get Hitlery KKKlinton appointed.
She’ll do anything the banksters want, including staging another 9/11.

  • knifemare69

Time magazine, like the Project for A New American Century before it, is advocating treason. PNAC begged for a new Pearl Harbor before 9/11 and they magically got one. Now Time has taken up the neocon mantra and is perfectly willing to sacrifice the lives of Americans to protect the power of the corrupt US government.

When the revolution comes you will see reporters and editors strung up from lamp posts and dragged behind cars just like the politicians and aristocrats they serve…

    • You need not suggest mass killings please. Here are your priorities: Free yourself, your family, your friends. Channel your energy into positive efforts.

      • knifemare69

But it’s okay for Time magazine to do so? Where’s your outrage at them? When Dick Cheney and Jeb Bush published a work praying for a New Pearl Harbor that was just peachy with you folks? Really?

        • Oh, come on. You’re here because we wrote about it, and not approvingly. But consistently for the past decade, we’ve indicated that formal armed revolt is not going to gain you the freedom you seek. Only you can do that, on a personal and communal level.

          • knifemare69

Nice avoiding of the question; you still never said if you’re cool with the PNAC New Pearl Harbor blood sacrifice or Time magazine’s call for another 9/11.

If you can’t at least answer those simple questions then all your deflections are disingenuous and indicate collusion with the agenda of those sociopaths…

      • Steven Hotho

  • vongoh

No doubt plenty of mainstream reporters – if they are doing staff editorials for these large, corrupt publishers – know that current events show a pattern that leads to an elite false flag event.

So when they write articles like this, they might easily be doing so with the anticipation that an actual ‘unifying event’ is more than likely right around the corner.

In this way they can revisit their predictions after the fact. to show how ‘prophetic’ they were .. while never actually ever calling out the false flags for what they are (and risking censure) before the fact.

  • Dalton

Only the Elites who pull this crap – like Bush 9/11. Bush illegal Iraqi war and all of Obamas false flags would believe Americans will keep falling these engineered crisis … too many of us recognize it is the psychopaths in power just yanking our chains – we are close to attacking the real problem – the elites should think about that but they feel so above it all so in control just like Comey Hillary and Lynch and Obama

  • paul crosley

Does anyone actually read Time magazine anymore?

    • Astromoney

Almost all magazines have devolved into propagandizing “the agenda” and there is very little of substance left in any of them. Even Scientific American has dumbed down to a weak shadow of its former self. – Sadness reigns.

      • paul crosley

I agree wholeheartedly! To be honest, I thought Time died like Look, Life, Science Digest and others.

    • Pop_Korn

Time rag is found in many doctors offices and the mags are usely older editions. Most of the time the magazines are ignored and attention is focused at the drivel running across on the television screen.

Time is a known mouthpiece (like the rest of the MSM) of the CIA/intelligence so we are hearing this directly from them.

Great article DB. I agree they are stepping up the chaos this summer as part of the usual divide and conquer strategy. Looks like its really taking off starting today, manufactured or real.

Really the best piece of advice now I think is to completely shut off the mainstream media. Boycott it entirely. The only value in them now is deconstructing their propaganda and figuring out what they really mean. My theory is they can’t ignite an all-out race war or whatever if a large amount of enough people aren’t paying attention or nobody believes a word from the MSM (coupled with extremely low trust of the Feds right now). Advise your friends and family. Keep your senses and your energies local.

    • Thanks.

    • Sam Fox

I’d still watch Dennis Michael Lynch at Newsmax tv though. Lou Dobbs isn’t so bad either. Lou & another newsperson put the kibosh on the NAU some years ago before Dobbs was at Fox. They reported on the plans for the NAU & it got stopped, for a while.

Dennis has a website that is well worth the visit. He is very informed about illegal immigration & other topics. He’s not all polished & shiny, but he is real. He has a MCUH better take on why American citizens are upset than the bozos mentioned in the lead.

I think most of here would like what he has to say. He is in line with the DB. His They Come To American videos on illegal immigration are must see material.

The way I see it, some one some where is pushing for martial law. Note how shooting violence is escalating as media pushes the narrative that pretty much all cops are racist, white privilege & so on with as hillarypacmedia pushes a lot of horse poo. Man, it’s getting weird in America!

  • DebL.

Yep. Let’s kill huge numbers of us “little people” so the “little people” who manage to survive these false flags can unite behind our “betters” like the thug who wrote the peice for Time Magazine…the good ol’ criminal paychopathic elites!

  • philip

philip, I wonder if Jeffery Kluger and michael smerconish have ever been bombed or have children in the military? My bet is no to both. That is why they write in such cavalier fashion and with lack of feeling. The same applies to most politicians!

  • desertspeaks

Time suggests another 911 to redirect american anger.. translation, the government needs another psyop to distract Americans from the real criminals, the government!

  • FreddyB

To heck with it, like the planet X guy I’m just going to copy and paste this everywhere I can. 🙂

If you have kids I really think it’s time to start thinking of getting the f outta the States.

It is sad because so many could see this as the inevitable end with how the media and the government has been pushing their hate baiting division agenda. If they had not wanted it to go this way they would have been arresting anyone that made threats instead of ignoring it until it finally boiled over. They would also would have started being a lot more harsh with punishments against LEO’s who are out of hand and have had the media tone down the baiting. Alternative media is just as much to blame for all this as the MSM as they did more then their share of repeating the same baiting stories over and over, hell some would toss up articles from months and even years ago to keep it going on slow days. Absolute stupidity!

You were all played and it was sad to watch as they carved you into little groups and then set you against each other like a bunch of emotional, irrational, unthinking animals.

It was honestly so easy to see this unfolding that it was almost painful to watch. They started with just a few incidents that the media latched onto and steadily reported on until people where worked up and angry which lead to more and more violence which was never addressed properly… just more baiting.

Unless people smarten the hell up and realize the real enemies are their own government, the media, Wall Street and the debt based banking system this is just the start. The reason they allowed all this conflict to escalate is they NEED it… desperately. The economy is coming apart at the seams, global food production is falling and they NEED a new control system and a lot less people to control. Religion and government no longer keep people in check for the elitists as they have for the past eons.

It also really looks like the US governments controllers want to get another war going and as they probably have serious doubts on whether they have enough trust and support from the masses to get it going… this is their plan B, C and D. They NEED the masses either completely distracted, until it’s too late, or out of the picture completely. I think that we are going to start seeing extreme violence any time large groups get together until it gets bad enough that all protests are banned country wide… for your safety of course. But they will wait and let enough attacks take place that they can finally start getting rid of the guns at the same time… for your safety of course. The restrictions will be enough that when the government does finally get itself in over it’s head and starts a war all of the public’s tools to stop them will be long gone.

It’s like watching a train wreck happen over a period of years. It is truly sad that a once strong and proud people can be so easily manipulated by such a small group of people.

WAKE THE ‘F’ UP ALREADY PEOPLE… you are in the middle of the fight of/for your lives and your future. There are way too many people who need to wake up to the fact that you are being played against each other by a very select few who are behind the scene pulling all the strings.

    • 2bvictorius

The problem is, People HAVE been running away. Away from accepting responsibility for what America is now, Vs., what it was and should be, but can’t be because people have little or no sense of civic duty, to their neighborhood, county, city, state or country.
If you run, where will you run to, and why should any other place welcome someone who is in many ways responsible for the conditions from which they are running. Example, Californians leaving for Idaho, and in short order, Idaho is gone, replaced by California style government programs and ultra liberal agenda’s. Same is true of New Yorkers, New Jersey, etc. they screw up the place they move to, by deliberately changing it into a replica of what they left.

Stay where you are and not waste your money and time searching for something that does not now,or ever did exist, a place where there are no problems or issues. It is not the place , but, the people .

“The problem is, People HAVE been running away. Away from accepting responsibility for what America is now, Vs., what it was and should be, but can’t be because people have little or no sense of civic duty, to their neighborhood, county, city, state or country.”

People like me ( infantry Marine) have determined that this country is filled with people like you (and worse) and it just simply isn’t worth saving. I am surrounded by complete and utter morons. We DESERVE what’s coming….and it ISSSSSS coming.

        • 2bvictorius

I would hope someone of your obvious intellect would ask themselves, why, they surround themselves with morons, and worthless people. Why not find others who are of equal intelligence and sense of patriotic duty. I doubt you meant it when you stated our country is not worth saving, Granted, these are very frustrating times for all who love their country and Liberty. Keep the faith.

          • Yah Saves

I’m not joking one iota. This grotesquely immoral country is not worth saving.
I couldn’t care less what happens to it or the inhabitants….and I think you knew what I meant when I said I was surrounded by idiots. It has nothing to do with who I choose to be around- it’s inescapable. Morons are everywhere and they do not deserve liberty. They shall get what they deserve very soon. I have zero “faith” because I know the end of the story. America is gone and a giant sh!tstorm is coming. Why? Because we are stupid on steroids. We threw away what those before us died to gain.

  • Jim Kluttz

The US has always been at its own throat. Many groups, and I don’t need to name them, have been trying to force their ideas on everybody else, some since before the founding. Even the founders weren’t of one mind. Such groups never stop and think that it might be a good idea to leave other people alone to live their lives in peace. Instead they double down, creating an exponential pressure function. My guess is that we’re approaching some kind of blowoff, an unpleasant prospect at best.

  • Praetor

The people that run this country are very sick individuals.

For any one suggesting another destructive event, so the people’s anger can be redirected at someone else, is utterly insane, and we all know it. This foolish man Kluger knows the anger is because of the government and people of his ilk. There is anger, no doubt.

Put that anger to positive use, if the election process is corrupt, go down to the precinct, and demand a recount before they even count the ballots. Start bombarding the police depts. with emails, letters and phone calls, we are behind you but you most stop following unlawful orders.

The best way to send a message, stop buying their merchandise, you’re money is you’re weapon. This is a message they will hear load and clear.

As one of the commenters of discontent says, Abstain, from giving them your beans.

And then start preparing, because the outcome is in doubt!!!

DB: “They don’t recognize America anymore. It feels like a fascist or socialist country.”

As a traveler on planet earth for 71 years, I couldn’t agree more. In high school, I learned how the Soviet Union used Marxist/Hegelian dialect. Didn’t realize at the time the same was being perpetrated on the American people. I wasn’t around when the infamous 1913 Federal Reserve ponzi scheme was initiated. I was too young to realize America was drawn into the war by those who allowed Pearl Harbor to happen.

But I was in the hospital from an accident when JFK was murdered. With me lying on my back, I watched the whole news fiasco on tv. When FreddyB wrote: “There are way too many people who need to wake up to the fact that you are being played against each other by a very select few who are behind the scene pulling all the strings,” I began to consider how my worldview evolved. At the time of JFK’s shooting, I wasn’t married yet and was still very interested in watching the girls.

Then, over the years, (and I think it was my inquisitive nature), I slowly came to the realization——something wasn’t quite right. During the Reagan years, ‘star wars’ was a major political football. I remember attending a presentation at a college where two retired top military personnel was having a dialogue with a Marxist leaning professor.

So when autonomous replied: “Encouraging people to forsake reason for emotion has been the primary tactic of those who would control others,” I remembered seeing this effect first hand. A Marxist protege does not have to have facts. He or she merely needs to engage the audiences emotional aspect. It is very effective because emotion is immediate without taking the time to think about what is happening. Once committed to a course of action, it becomes hard to reverse direction.

It was in this same time frame, I attended a presentation by G. Edward Griffin as he promoted his “Creature from Jekyll Island.” The DB has presented the banking cartel’s aims many times. Research reveals some of the individuals behind all of the manipulations, but not all. So when Linda JJ wrote: “The criminals had better be concerned about American anger. If they try to re-direct it with a false flag, it will only come back to bite them,” it might be sooner than one might think.

Exposure is continuing thanks to the DB and other similar publications. Any free thinking persons are now aware that the 9/11 twin towers destruction was committed by controlled demolition, not by large aircraft. The events I listed are some of the glaring examples of manipulation committed and there are too many other less major ones to list here.

In the last 8 years, the Hope and Change mantra has accelerated so rapidly but at the same time more polarizing than any time in American history. We are at a crossroads. If Trump is genuine, America might have it’s greatest chance for real change dedicated to the principles our founders envisioned than the candidates we have had in recent history. The most obvious contribution he has made at present is to break the idea of being ‘political correct’. Isn’t this a major component of America’s frustrations today?

We are presented with many types of distractions and I do not make any apologies for my next statement as one example. It is beyond common sense that a male who ‘feels’ he is better identified as a woman can be free to use a women’s restroom. How insane is that? Makes one wonder whose money is behind this scheme. We all know distractions are meant to hide the sleight of hand.

  • ArtBell

It seems like they want to have a government sponsored, and supervised, daily 2 minute hate. Rather Orwellian outlook isn’t it?

  • AmericanGold

Okay, but just reading the quote from Jeff Kluger’s article it appears to me that he is being misinterpreted. All the words following “What’s needed is a …” are adjectives describing the object, namely “fury_ a ruthless indignation that doesn’t leak away in a week or two…” Maybe somewhere in the entire article he does call for another disastrous event to bring on that fury, but we only have this brief except to judge by.

    • He also writes of Morrow’s statement, “It was cold, it was bracing and coming when it did … it was thrilling, precisely what the moment called for … What’s left when there’s a truly right and righteous reason to rise up in anger? And those important moments do occur.”

The thrust of the article is that Americans are angry at too many things. American anger works best when it is specifically focused on a single “righteous” issue. Like 9/11 or Pearl Harbor.

He approves of that sort of anger. The suggestions are clear.

  • rahrog

Is that gun fire I hear?

  • Paul Prichard

An individual should decide for themselves what to be angry about.

If I was an American I would be angry at Hillary for her crimes in ‘mishandling’ classified information.

  • Equonte Rosenstein

This is getting surreal. I have spent two hours this morning Google searching problems with zero hedge. There is an excellent George Soros synopsis entitled, “How George Soros Created Europe’s Migrant Crisis,” that simply will not load. It takes forever just to get the cursor and it is impossible to scroll down past a certain point on my BRAND NEW Windows 10 laptop. The page ultimately just becomes frozen stiff and the internet closes itself out. I have long tolerated loading problems exclusive to Zerohedge on an ipad, an iPhone, an apple desktop, two HP laptops, a windows phone and now a Dell laptop, with multiple internet service providers.
But now it has reached the point where I have to consider that the site is unuse-able. Yet I can go into an Apple store or a Verizon store and put in the address on any of their display devices and it loads quickly without a hitch. Further, my ability to comment and user experience at another site seems directly related to who I log in as on disqus. If I am logged out or logged in under a new name, the site loads fine and completely, however If I log in under my original screen name, it only lets me post the first few comments without a hitch. But the more I fling my anarcho-libertarian ‘truth,’ the more the site functions like the ‘hedge. Typing becomes problematic, with long pauses required between each letter, the page suddenly jumping to the bottom, the site going back to the homepage, and finally, all comments being blocked with a message saying “check your internet connection.” If I don’t log out that screen name, other sites are slower too.
When I tell the forum what is happening, someone ALWAYS responds to say it’s the internet connection. And the two Google hits I found for the ZeroHedge phenomena were shallow and dismissive in a deliberately discouraging way.
The fact that I have given so much personal information up recently to access my email accounts seems to have made my digital torment more directed. It seems I am being encouraged and discouraged from certain articles and certain sites via loading times and user experience and perhaps based on site popularity. I KNOW I am not alone. These people have already begun to “rise up against the ignorant masses” in myriad ways.
For some, access to alternative media and thus the truth is already being denied.

    • Sorry to hear. It’s a great site.

      • James Harkness Hall

These issues are quite an elephant in the room. I know I am not alone. Every now and then these complains will appear in comment threads under their articles. At least we know the people making these complaints are ‘real’ people. The .gov doesn’t want it out there that they are hobbling people’s devices that they paid their hard-earned money for, for disagreeing with them-not yet.

    • Christopher Snittle

Use Ixquick as your search engine.

    • joeyman9

Use private interent access or some other vpn, use linux, and create a new screen name. I believe that will set them back some. I wonder if the ability to screw up the page loading is specific to android, windows, and IOS operating systems. Also I wonder if you could use a browser that allowed only text with no images (but I repeat myself) if that would go away. Just speculation, but I think that might frustrate the efforts of those who don’t want you to participate.

      • I do not consider this “Solved” by any means

  • James Harkness Hall

I just posted a comment detailing problems I was having with ZHedge and my original disqus screen name posting comments at another site. When I clicked on “post,” I got the same “check your internet connection” error message, so I switched to this name, and it posted, so I guess that other name became too much of a digital dissident “brand” for them to accept, because it is apparently not allowed to post anymore comments. The comments that led to this ultimate sanction were a flurry of them claiming that those who destroyed the economy were trying to incite a race war within a sea of racially incendiary rhetoric and calls for more misunderstanding and violence.
No profanity, no obscenity, no violent imagery, no threats, just ideas…got my screen name killed off and my devices hobbled. This is where we are.
……and I just discovered that screen name can no longer post anymore either. I know I’m not alone. We’re being shut out now, that much is clear. Something big is coming. Too many occurrences.

    • Macon Richardson

Zero Hedge is a great source of information, but if you notice only a select group of idiots make posts to it. There are no moderators for the posts and only geriatric adolescents who post there.

Find a better venue for your thoughts. Like, say, here.

  • James Harkness Hall

One easy way to know who’s a friend-they’re having computer troubles. People who say “zerohedge loaded for me in 20 seconds,” and who have no problems with disqus are with the other side or completely asleep, which is the same thing.
Stay niche, Daily Bell. The tall nail gets hammered.

    • As a matter of fact, that’s our philosophy.

      • James Harkness Hall

I get it, now, I totally get it. I have a lot of respect for you guys.

    • Rollie

Don’t kid yourself the DB is censored regularly by the DB and not for obscenity.

  • spirittoo

Well the sheep would certainly fall for another 911. Those of us that are awake won’t.

  • Crcuswatchr

Good one. Maybe another USS liberty event and point the blame at another oil rich country. Or! Another operation northwoods! But this time don’t ask the president for approval, just do like Dick Cheney did on 9/11. You know, lihop.

  • Anon.

Funnel your anger into the idea of the transition to a new style of democracy called Sapiocracy.
It’s a terribly interesting concept to explore.

  • TimeToWakeUpAmerica

“TIME Suggests Another 9/11 Is Necessary to Re-direct American Anger”?

Is ANYONE surprised by this? TIME magazine, part of the MSM (Mainstream Media), along with ALL that THAT implies. The U.S. of America CORPORATION’s MSM is part of an AGENDA.

What many Americans don’t fully realize, is that this is ALL according
to PLAN. There is an AGENDA behind everything that is going on, in
America, and in the world, today. IF you are intelligent enough, and
curious enough, read Dr. John Coleman’s book, THE COMMITTEE OF 300
(Revised & Updated 4th Edition, here:
Picking up, and reading THAT book, will be one of the BEST investments
you’ll ever make. (It explains who, exactly, the Western “elites” are,
who finances them, who their main allies are, who their legions of
minions are, and why most Americans are walking around like mind-less
zombies. Dr. Coleman is former MI6 – BRITISH INTELLIGENCE, and he
    covers it ALL.

    • Read the Time Essay.

It does not in fact Suggest Another 9/11 Is Necessary to Re-direct American Anger

      • Kluger reproduces Morrow’s text as follows:

“The Case for Rage and Retribution,” in which he argued: “For once let’s have no fatuous rhetoric about ‘healing.’ A day cannot live in infamy without the nourishment of rage. Let’s have rage. What’s needed is a unified, unifying, Pearl Harbor sort of purple American fury—a ruthless indignation that doesn’t leak away in a week or two…”

And then KIuger writes of Morrow’s statement:

“It was cold, it was bracing and coming when it did … it was thrilling, precisely what the moment called for … What’s left when there’s a truly right and righteous reason to rise up in anger? And those important moments do occur.”

The thrust of Kluger’s article is that Americans are angry at too many things. There is too much unfocused anger and American anger works best when it is specifically focused on a single “righteous” issue. Like 9/11 or Pearl Harbor.

He approves of that sort of anger. The suggestions are clear.

  • Paul_Morphy

Can’t think of a single good reason to read Time magazine. Not even one.

    • futhark

Read Time magazine to find out what the Deep State wants you to think and do. Then think and do just the opposite.

  • L O

Yeah, Time magazine.. The only magazine in the dentist office where the name and address is ripped off the cover out of embarrassment by a former subscriber.

    • Pilgrim

I leave my only magazine subscription in the dentist office WITH my name and address on it. “America’s First Freedom”, the NRA magazine. If someone wants to come to my house, they’re welcome.

  • gman

“Kluger obviously wants a unified America. In order for rage to be unifying it needs to be a ‘purple American fury.’”

man, you don’t get it. sure he wants a unified “america” – but the america he envisions does not include the talking animals.

“They don’t recognize America anymore. It feels like a fascist or socialist country.”

no, it feels like a stockyard, and the talking animals are being herded towards the chute.

“This is actually a somewhat cynical assessment of how to manipulate anger in our view.”

nonsense, it’s brilliant. get the talking animals all riled up, then turn them against each other. when they’re done, just move in and sit down and celebrate.

    qui bono, man. qui bono.

  • Loog Moog

We have already HAD a unifying event like Pearl Harbor. It is called eight years of Obama. His promotion of chaos, freaks changing sexes, his desired race war, the complete lack of respect for the law, the total corruption of the congress, and the destruction of the middle class has united the True Americans to the point where we are ready to elect a no-nonsense, by God CAPITALIST heterosexual White man to the highest office in the land.
And if the powers that be manage to fix the election and elect Queen Hillary, then there will be a civil war MOST UN-CIVIL.

  • Diane Dina

If you want another 9/11 just call GW Bush and Giuliani.

  • Whiskey7Actual

I’m still mad about that false flag event and the other events they have pulled on the American people! They better not do it!

  • Aaron Karmin

Everyday, somewhere in America, violence erupts. Each night on the news there are people telling their horror stories of injury and trauma, testifying to the terror that occurs in big cities and small communities. Yet this country seems to say with a shrug, “What are you gonna do?” Here is something to consider:

*So what happened on 9 11?*

_An Israeli False Flag Operation is what happened._

    • You are misguided. The current globalist troubles are the inventions of groups that go back thousands of years. To compare them to modern-day Jews living and working in Israel is like comparing a microbe to a mastodon. “They” don’t even live in Israel. And the THEY invented to the post-war Antisemitic meme you are using.

      • You are a liar, knowingly or not… Modern Day “Jews” do BENEFIT in the SHORT term, from the actions of the perps. They were also used as fodder during the HollowHoax, in fact Hitler himself was a half-Jew Golem conceived in a Satanic Orgiastic Ritual on Tisha B’Av, the calendrical inverse of the Goy’s 911, according to Rabbi Marvin Antelman’s Classic, “To Eliminate the Opiate Volume 2” page 207 . • We’ve been over this ground for 15 years. You are not revealing some wonderful new secret. And you misunderstand how the top elites work and whom they consider themselves to be. The even have a separate religion. Within this context “Jews” are used but certainly are not in control. To say the “Jews did it” – whatever they did or do – is simply an ignorant statement. Many Jews died to create the meme of Antisemitism in Germany. That’s how much they care about their “fellow Jews.”

But we will stop now. You’ve made your point and we’ve made ours. Move on to something else. Friendly warning.

          • You miss my point, I will pray for you. Recall, to allow someone to go over a cliff is NOT LOVING them, no matter how sure they may be of a false narrative, be they Jew or otherwise.

I will think about your point of view to make sure I am not missing your point.

            PERFECT LOVE: 1st JOHN 4:15-18

Whoever acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him and he in God. We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.

In this is love brought to perfection among us, that we have confidence on the day of judgment because as he is, so are we in this world.

There is NO FEAR in LOVE, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love.
