Rick Perry Exposed as a Globalist … Rick Perry Proposed Bi-National Health Insurance with Mexico … As media attention intensifies about Texas Governor Rick Perry’s run for the presidential nomination, an activist in Tyler, Texas, was prompted to say “More checking under the hood needed before we buy the car,” according to the Dallas Morning News (DMN). The article focused on Perry’s comments at a Border Summit speech in south Texas (8-22-01), days before the 9-11 attacks, about bi-national health insurance – Texas-funded coverage for both U.S. and Mexican border residents. The governor’s statement favored a study, required by the Legislature, about “the feasibility of bi-national health insurance.” – New American

Chinese and US Officials Have Unusually Close Relationship … Leaked Cables Offer Glimpses Into Relations of U.S. … This capital city’s skies were clogged with pollution, as is often the case, and China’s government was concerned. So it summoned officials of the American Embassy here to a meeting. But the session had nothing to do with hazy skies. Rather, Chinese officials were peeved that the Americans were monitoring pollution themselves, and posting on Twitter for anyone to read, their more precise findings, which usually judged the smog far worse than official Chinese readings. Chinese officials feared the conflicting information “might lead to ‘social consequences,'” an American Embassy cable quoted the officials as saying. So could the Americans please block Chinese citizens from visiting the Web site? That July 2009 cable, posted on the WikiLeaks Web site on Friday, is one of hundreds from the American Embassy in Beijing that offer a glimpse into the depths, and heights, of relations between the United States and Chinese governments. The cables, involving secret but not very diplomatically delicate correspondence between the two powers. – New York Times

Cameron Wants Rendition Inquiry … Libya rendition claims: David Cameron calls for inquiry … Allegations that MI6 was involved in the rendition of Libyan terror suspects should be examined by an independent inquiry, David Cameron has said. It comes after papers suggesting close ties between MI6, the CIA and the Gaddafi regime were found in Tripoli. An anti-Gaddafi military leader says he wants the UK and US to apologise for organising his 2004 transfer to Libya. An existing inquiry into allegations of UK security agencies’ involvement in torture has said it will investigate. – BBC

Rick Perry Exposed as a Globalist

Rick Perry Proposed Bi-National Health Insurance with Mexico … As media attention intensifies about Texas Governor Rick Perry’s run for the presidential nomination, an activist in Tyler, Texas, was prompted to say “More checking under the hood needed before we buy the car,” according to the Dallas Morning News (DMN). The governor’s statement favored a study, required by the Legislature, about “the feasibility of bi-national health insurance.” The DMN continued, “Katherine Cesinger, spokeswoman for Perry’s campaign, downplayed the topic of bi-national health insurance. ‘A bill was passed by the Legislature that authorized a study to look into this issue, which ultimately concluded there were numerous barriers to accomplishing that idea, and the Legislature took no further action on this concept,’ she said.” However, in spite of the Legislature’s failure to act, Perry made clear his willingness to funnel Texas’s assets to Mexico. – New American

Dominant Social Theme: Rick Perry, an independent man with independent positions.

Free-Market Analysis: The exposing of the real Rick Perry has started in earnest now. We’re surprised it took so long. It is a matter of public record that Perry connived with other US power brokers to try implement the North American trans-continental highway during the presidency of George Bush.

Bush himself was a committed globalist who, toward the end of his term in office, tried to pass an immigration bill aimed at creating what might be considered a “guest worker” program between the US and Mexico. This was only a prelude to an apparent goal of the power elite, which is a merger between Mexico, America and Canada. This is supposed to mimic the European union – it is through such building blocks that a new world order is to be constructed.

Perry is part and parcel of the globalist elite and during his terms in office in Texas he worked to implement the globalist agenda in many ways. Now that he has a higher profile and is being considered as a serious presidential candidate, Perry has been scrambling to hide his obvious elite relationships and activities. But even his newfound affection for the Tea Party and libertarianism generally cannot hide what came before.

Chinese and US Officials Have Unusually Close Relationship

Leaked Cables Offer Glimpses Into Relations of U.S. … This capital city’s skies were clogged with pollution, as is often the case, and China’s government was concerned. Dominant Social Theme: Sure we’re pals. So what? Perfectly normal.

Free-Market Analysis: For a long time now, we’ve been arguing that at the very top – where the elites live – relations between China and the US (and Europe) are quite close. We know this is something of a heresy considering how the mainstream press continually whips up hostility to China, but we have reasons to believe this is so.

We were not therefore surprised by WikiLeaks revelations (see article above) regarding what would seem to be surprising cooperation between Chinese and American diplomats. China and America (and the West generally) need each other from an economic standpoint at the very least.

China owns perhaps a trillion dollars’ worth US Treasury bonds. And China needs a vibrant America to export to. At the same time, America needs China to purchase its increasingly worthless paper, while Europe is looking to China for various kinds of capital injections.

Of course, we don’t think China’s leaders are resolutely anti-American, not at all. We remember that the British conquered and ran China and we think the West’s influence lingers still.

Cameron Wants Rendition Inquiry

Libya rendition claims: David Cameron calls for inquiry. Allegations that MI6 was involved in the rendition of Libyan terror suspects should be examined by an independent inquiry, David Cameron has said. Abdel Hakim Belhaj, then a terror suspect but now in charge of the Libyan capital’s military forces, says he was tortured after being arrested in Bangkok. He says he was taken to Libya by a CIA and MI6 operation, allegedly confirmed by documents sent to Gaddafi’s regime, and sent to prison. The Foreign Office said the government had a “long-standing policy” not to comment on intelligence matters. Mr Belhaj told the BBC: “What happened to me and my family is illegal. It deserves an apology. And for what happened to me when I was captured and tortured. – BBC

Dominant Social Theme: Gee, what’s rendition? Of course it’s long ago – 2004. But we’ll look into it. We have nothing to hide …

Free-Market Analysis: The lies never cease. DB has carried several articles recently on the American/NATO Gulag that has been constructed throughout the Middle East. To maintain shock and surprise as Cameron is doing – calling for an investigation of rendition activities back in 2004 – is plainly ridiculous given what is going on TODAY. Here are two reports on American-inspired rendition-style prisons that we’ve published recently.

Media Blackout: US in Yet Another Illegal War in Yemen

Anthony Wile Interviews a DB Staffer Who Speaks about His 30-Day Incarceration in a Yemen Prison

It’s simply a fact that the US now operates with bold disregard for any kind of rights or representation around the world. The war on terror has trumped all other concerns. The CIA, FBI and other US spy agencies have been building out what would seem to be a worldwide Gulag for the past decade. The CIA itself has turned from gathering data to concentrating on murdering individuals that it considers to be terrorists.

And yet … al-Qaeda was seemingly initially a CIA inspired Islamic organization that the CIA helped facilitate to fight the war in Afghanistan against the invading USSR. Supposedly, Osama bin Laden himself was a CIA asset. And the CIA is suspected of having high-ranking operatives within the ranks of al-Qaeda today.

Within this context, we have Cameron acting surprised about aspects of rendition. Cameron cannot be surprised. He must know exactly what is going on. The West, under the guise of fighting terror, has managed to suspend human and civil rights around the world.

This is perhaps the most important story of the 21st Century, that basic rights garnered over centuries have been secretly placed in abeyance in the past 10 years. In no way is this a coincidence. The great banking families that want to run the world have made a decision that they can do so more efficiently if they jettison the understandings of civil society, and they have been busily doing just that.

All over the Middle East, and elsewhere as well, thousands of (mostly) young men languish in prison cells without accusations, without evidence, without representation. They are suspected of terrorism, of being terrorists, of being al-Qaeda. They are nothing of the sort. (See DB articles, above, on this subject.)

The war on terror is basically a phony one, seemingly cooked up by Western intelligence agencies. The narrative of 9/11 is intensely suspect and flawed and a new investigation by unbiased individuals is called for. But just as importantly, the global Gulag that the West has been busily erecting – hiding behind corrupt states and dictators around the world – should be exposed and dismantled.

Cameron’s call for a committee to investigate the 2004 rendition episode is ludicrous when seen within this context. The rot is much deeper than that. The danger is immediate and deliberate. What has been built overseas must eventually be visited upon the West. There is no way it will not be. The West ignores this evil at its peril.
