While FBI Investigation Distracts, Bundy Ranch Case Quietly Dismissed
By The Daily Bell Staff - January 24, 2018

The FBI Trump investigation is perfect fodder for the mainstream media. It fits the right versus left paradigm like a glove.

It gives each side everything they desire. An enemy to hate. Someone to blame. And a good show.

For the right, the text messages between agents on the investigation team prove that there was an anti-Trump bias. They feel vindicated in their choice of Trump. If he wasn’t trying to drain the swamp, then why is the swamp trying so hard to drag him down?

The corruption involved in the investigation proves what they believe, that it is all rigged. It shows that the political machine is attacking an outsider. And it shows Trump is the perfect one to take them on.

But the left sees it differently. They think Trump is desperately trying to distract from Mueller closing in on high ranking Trump officials. They see these stories about FBI corruption as proof that Trump is guilty. Why else would he be so keen on destroying the FBI’s credibility?

They think the text messages and the intelligence memo that supposedly points to more corruption, are just slight of hand to obscure the actual guilt of Trump and associates.

But what will really happen in the end? Probably nothing. There won’t be some major revelation that brings down the FBI. There won’t be some major charge against Trump.

The right will get little crumbs that certain FBI officials broke protocol. The left will get little crumbs that some of the Trump team did unsavory things. And the machine will go on as normal.

The left and the right will both feel robbed by the corruption of the other side. Their anger and resentment will increase. This will inevitably fuel the us versus them meme.

Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch…

But there is another us versus them story that the mainstream media is not so happy to promote. It is the government versus the people.

For all the coverage of the Bundy Ranch standoff, they sure dismissed the case quietly.

Why wouldn’t the media want to report that some dangerous anti-government borderline terrorists are back on the streets?

Because it turns out the Bundy family were the ones being terrorized. The same terrorists that massacred part of the Weaver family at Ruby Ridge seemed intent on doing the same thing at the Bundy Ranch.

Federal judge Gloria Navarro slammed the FBI and Justice Department on Monday, Jan. 8, for “outrageous” abuses and “flagrant misconduct” in the prosecution of Cliven Bundy and sons, the Nevada ranchers who spurred a high-profile standoff with the FBI and Bureau of Land Management in 2014. Navarro condemned the “grossly shocking” withholding of evidence from defense counsel in a case that could have landed the Bundys in prison for the rest of their lives. Navarro, who had declared a mistrial last month, dismissed all charges against the Bundys.

Navarro was especially riled because the FBI spent three years covering up or lying about the role of their snipers in the 2014 standoff. The Bundys faced conspiracy charges because they summoned militia to defend them after claiming FBI snipers had surrounded their ranch. Justice Department lawyers scoffed at this claim but newly-released documents vindicate the Bundys. In an interview Saturday, Ammon Bundy reviled the feds: “They basically came to kill our family, they surrounded us with snipers. And then they wanted to lie about it all like none of it happened.”

And just like in the case of Ruby Ridge, the feds were unable to prosecute. Despite murdering Weaver’s wife and teenage son, there was no reason for the FBI to ever have targetted his family.

And in the case of the Bundy Ranch, the feds put countless lives in danger, wasted tremendous resources, and kept innocent people in prison awaiting trial for years. But the courts exonerated them. The Bureau of Land Management obstruction and withholding of evidence came to light, despite their best efforts.

You can challenge the feds, and you can sometimes “win.” It all just depends on what you are willing to risk and sacrifice. They will take as much from you as possible, no matter how innocent you are.

Prosecutors apparently feared jury nullification in the Bundy case. That is when a jury issues a “not guilty” verdict despite proof of guilt. A jury could do this when they think a law is unjust, like in drug possession prosecutions. A jury could also nullify a guilty verdict when they think the defendants were unfairly targetted or were provoked by federal agents to commit a crime.

But because the Bundy case doesn’t fit into electoral politics, it is ignored. Because the government comes out looking malicious, corrupt, and vengeful, the media would rather not call attention to it.

To be sure, there are FBI officials involved in the Trump probe that are corrupt and spiteful as well. And surely there are some shady characters on the Trump team.

But it is a battle between political factions.

The battle that the Bundys just won was a battle between the corrupt establishment and your average American. It was a real vindication of serious wrongdoing by government officials.

But the left-right battle over the FBI investigation and team Trump is just political showmanship.

You don’t have to play by the rules of the corrupt politicians, manipulative media, and brainwashed peers.

  • Thanks, DB…I would add that Los Corruptos in D.C. would rather have the sheeple focused on how intelligence was “weaponized” politically so that we’re begging for “fairness” and “Transparency” of the intelligence services for our “Freeeeeeedumb” and “Demaaaaaaahcracy” rather than wondering “Uh, why exactly does a supposedly free people have and tolerate a FISA court anyway?”

  • Alan777

The FBI spent over three years lying and covering up this case. They’ve been doing that as general policy since well before JFK’s assassination and the majority of the public is just now waking up it.

    • CCblogging

Hopefully, most of our fellow citizens are waking up, if not awake. September 11th 2001 jogged my senses and I was shaken wide awake and I became more aware than I had ever been before that day. We need to be ready. All patriots should arm up while there’s time.

      • Poppo

The “waking up period” following 9-11 lasted, what, a couple of months? Then most of America went back to business as usual. I am glad that you seem to be in the minority in this case!

    • Poppo

I agree with everything except your hopeful statement that the “majority of the public is waking up”.
Most of the country is not interested and follow the MSM like lemmings.

      • Alan777

My use of “majority” was based on a poll that said a majority didn’t trust/believe the FBI in the Bundy case. It’s only one case and I agree my statement should have been less definite.

  • meugene

Excellent summary. Helpful perspective. It is hard not to rally behind Trump, hoping he will expose the high crimes and treason of Obama-Clinton regime. But in the big picture, POTUS works not for the people, but is “of the elite, by the elite, and for the elite.” From this perspective, the “defend Trump” movement is being fueled by propaganda—most likely designed to “rally the troops” (conservatives, evangelicals and libertarians) behind a president who will likely take us to war during the next false flag event created for that purpose.

    • CCblogging

Your opinion is your opinion. After eight dark depressing years under the Obama Regime, Trump has been a God sent blessing. I like Trump and he has my support. We shall see.

      • meugene

I echo your sentiment about the Obama regime. And I voted for Trump. But it’s not like “we the people” were given a true choice. Was Hillary “supposed” to win? It seems that way. But that doesn’t make Trump a White Knight. He is still the same casino-building playboy whose fortune and fame were built on everything that the Bible opposes: Greed, gambling, prostitution, immorality, dishonest gain, abuse of power, and abuse of people.

So, did God “establish” Trump? According to Daniel 2:21, God “removes kings and sets up kings.” But that does not mean Trump is a moral man or that his agenda is in accordance with the will of God. Such a God-fearing follower of Christ, if they could be found in Congress (and there may be a handful), would be literally unelectable to the presidency. Not only would the media tear them to shreds, but like Jesus himself, would be mocked, maligned, and spat upon. Despite the fact many have tried and failed to make it so, America was never intended, and will never be a theocracy; especially in post-Christian society.

Therefore, while we can lament the loss of our former “Christian” nation (which is ultimately a rejection of biblical morality) and personal freedoms all day long, there is virtually no way to reclaim them or obtain them (at least, prior to the Rapture, Tribulation, and Second Advent of Christ). And Trump, regardless of whether his campaign promises were real or rhetoric, will never be able to “Make America Great Again.” What does that mean, exactly, anyway? A chicken in every pot? Rolling back the “equal rights” of GLBTQ-XYZ agenda? (That cat’s out of the bag, and will never get put back in.) Restore school prayer? Not going to happen. Restore the Ten Commandments? Not going to happen. Repeal Roe v. wade? I think we’ll see hell freeze over first.

Therefore, while we may enjoy a brief reprieve from overtly evil representation for as long as the Trump administration lasts, we must recognize that the handwriting is on the wall for America (this is a reference to Daniel chapter 5, where God gave notice to the king of Babylon that his empire would come to a catastrophic end). Our nation is ripe for judgment, not just because of one evil man or one evil woman who is selected or appointed to office, but because “we the people” have collectively rebelled against our Creator, and have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Indeed, may all who have placed their hope and trust in Christ heed the warnings of Paul—not of Paul Revere, who rode to warn of impending invasion, but of Paul the Apostle, who warned of a far greater peril than anything our nation’s founding fathers faced:

“Knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light (Romans 13:11-12). Neither Paul, nor the other disciples, nor the early church were at all concerned with establishing a “Christian nation.” Rather, they were committed to the same purpose to which our Savior was called, “To seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).

It is better to trust in the LORD

Than to put confidence in man.

It is better to trust in the LORD

Than to put confidence in princes.

        —Psalm 118-8-9

Good arguments. I myself am of the opinion that justice probably won’t REALLY be served until such time as His foot touches down on the Mount of Olives. My 68 years of experience tells me that evil nearly always has the last laugh–in the short term. It’s got such a tremendous advantage, being aided and abetted by the fallenness of human nature. But…maybe, just maybe…He’ll allow us a little foretaste of justice now. We can dream, can’t we? After all, for example, Herod “was eaten by worms and died” while accepting blasphemous flattery. You just never know.

BTW–the lack of up votes to your intelligent, well-reasoned comments just proves your point about the current spiritual state of the nation.

            21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

            23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

            25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Rubbish ! Get a life & leave your Bible where it belongs.

          • meugene

Hey James, glad you chimed in! Could you be more specific about what part of my post you deemed “rubbish”? I’d be happy to clarify…

Despite repeated attempts to censor and burn the Bible throughout the generations by angry individuals and fearful governments alike it remains the most published and most read book in the history of mankind. Over 100 million copies are printed every year in close to 3,000 languages. When added to the estimated 3.8 billion copies in distribution between 1815 and 1975, that puts close to 8 billion copies of the Word of God on the planet today.

Does this qualify it as “rubbish”?

Certainly not, but thankfully, Truth is not a popularity contest; therefore, we must subject any and all claims of divine authorship to scientific and historical testing. Did you know that the Bible is also the most accurately preserved and translated volume in history? The Dead Sea Scrolls, copied between 150 B.C. and 70 A.D., are nearly identical to the manuscripts in use today, and contain all but two of the books in the Hebrew Scriptures. These thousands of preserved scrolls and fragments demonstrate that it has not been corrupted or altered by human hands from before the time of Christ; and this is indisputable.

Additionally, the Word of God is not only a “lamp unto our feet” spiritually, but is also used by historians and archaeologists to locate and dig up cities in the Middle East, which (unlike so many other religious texts) demonstrates it is an accurate historical record.

Finally, the hundreds of fulfilled prophecies of Scripture make it impossible for man to have forged, which alone distinguishes it from all other “sacred” writings. And if the Bible has been right thus far, then one should certainly give serious consideration to what it says about the future of planet earth. Since the Scriptures have proven to be reliable and authoritative in every area (historically, scientifically, and prophetically), I try to keep my Bible “where it belongs” at all times: right in front of me.

There are free copies available everywhere, as well as online. May I suggest giving it a read? As you encounter questions, try searching out the answers at http://www.gotquestions.org — But if you already consider yourself a good person who doesn’t need the Bible, try out this quick quiz to see if you qualify: http://so4j.com/good-test

The very best of us are but Sinners Saved by Grace.

          • dauden

I was a sinner, now I’m saved by grace through faith and “….henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart……but (I) am renewed in the spirit of (my) mind: and have put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness”. IOW, though I am in the flesh, I reckon myself dead to sin by the death of Christ and alive by the resurrected Christ and my mind is continually being renewed by the spirit of God by studying the Word of Truth, the preserved, uncopyrighted, King James, rightly divided. Eph 4:17-24, Romans 6:11, 2 Tim 2:15

          • dauden

            Beautiful!

        • CCblogging

Meugene, I don’t disagree with your thoughts. I will point out that God sometimes uses imperfect people to make changes that he wants. I prayed as many prayed that God would give us time to restore our nation before he passes judgement. I do believe that President Trump was God sent and he has put us back on the road to the restoration. I also believe that this is our last chance to heal our nation.

          • meugene

Yes, and I for one am glad that he uses imperfect people, otherwise there would be no hope for me! The good news for our country is that “God is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish.” The bad news for our country is that “God is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish.”

(In other words, if Sodom was an example of God’s tolerance—in the true definition of the word—then our society and culture stands to get a whole lot worse before it gets any “better” for those who love God and are called according to his purpose.)

But I’m interested in why you believe Trump has “put us back on the road to restoration.” Restoration to what, exactly? The gold standard? The Constitution? (Quick, who wants to go back to 1975? 1965? 1950? 1941? 1929? 1861? 1776? — Any volunteers?)

And obviously, Trump is not a spiritual leader—so how does his presidency represent the “last chance to heal our nation”? If you mean spiritual revival, as measured by church attendance, or increased prayer and Bible reading, then Trump can affect neither of those.

And if the church itself—that is, all who profess to be Christians in our country—cannot even police and clean up itself, but embraces and practices the very things that God hates (greed, idolatry, pornography, sexual perversion, false doctrine, false prophecy, etc.) then how can we expect to “Make America Great Again”?

But if being “great” means flexing our military might in other sovereign nations to help the drug, oil, and banking cabals build and defend the New World Order (while patriots become enemies of the state in our own land and Christians the subject of persecution) then we’re definitely in good hands with Trump.

The truth is, as much as we love the good things in life, and reminisce about “the good old days,” the earth is not our home; and God’s Word indicates it will become more and more hostile toward Him. So unless the Rapture comes first, followers of Christ will be like the Hebrew patriarchs who “all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth…

“But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.” (Hebrews 11:13, 16).

        • Poppo

Never the less, I believe that millions of Americans heeded the Word of God and He answered our prayers.

          2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble
themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Of course, Trump will not succeed in defeating the “Ruling Elite”, but he at least is attempting to postpone the immediate destruction of our Constitution which would surely have been advanced by a Hillary Clinton administration!

          • meugene

Yes, and I certainly am glad for the light that is being shined into the darkness of our nation’s capital, and do hope and pray for some earthly justice and accountability to be brought against those who have wrought evil. May those guilty of treason, murder, and unspeakable atrocities repent before they meet the Judge of all.

As far as 2 Chron 7:14, the context for “my people” of course refers to Israel. Many leaders and pastors and believers have “claimed” this verse for America, but it really applies only to God’s chosen people, which is the only nation with whom God has an “everlasting covenant.” There is no such covenant with America or any other nation.

If it applies to believers as “my people” then the principle should work in any other nation of the world; Red China, Syria, Iraq, India — wherever believers are being persecuted for their faith. (So in other words, if “my people” applied to believers in these nations, then if they “repented” from their “wicked ways” then God would heal their entire nation? Obviously, this does not fit.

Therefore, it is clearly an ancient call for Israel to repent, which applies yet to this day. Unfortunately, Israel is every bit as hedonist as the United States, and their people are in every bit as much apostasy as believers in the U.S. One day, Israel will mourn when they “look upon him whom they pierced” (Zech 12:10 – at the Second advent of Christ, when they corporately recognize him as Messiah for the very first time).

Unfortunately, two-thirds of the Jews will perish in the Tribulation prior to the return of Christ (Zech 13:8-9). This is not to say that God would not respond if the American church (the portion that is in rebellion) would clean up its act. But it ultimately has little bearing on the future fulfillment as Scripture records. Thus, we set must earnestly adjust our own priorities, that we may be “redeeming the time, for the days are evil.” (Eph 5:16).

          • dauden

Hmmm, accurately stated. I’m very impressed to find a Pauline grace believer here. One who has distinguished the revelation of the mystery given to Paul from Israel and prophecy.

        • dauden

I’ll go along with all of that!

      • Poppo

I voted for Trump, supported him nearly from the start.

Couple of my friends were trying to strait-jacket me when I boldly stated, several days before the election, that I had done the math and predicted that Trump would have 260 or more Electoral Votes.
I was, however, amazed when he actually topped 300!

Anyway, this is merely a respite. The human race is incapable of organizing and sustaining a fair and impartial justice system of method of government. It is still run by men, and men lust for power and the fruits of power, particularly money.

The average life of the Major Political Dynasties in human history has been somewhere between 200 and 250 years. Now that we have largely abandoned God, we are well on our way down the slippery slope.

        Come Quickly, Lord Jesus!

    • Poppo

Evil knows no bounds. Soon Lord Jesus will return and end this madness.

The FBI is so rotten it smells like an outhouse and it needs a giant enema. The persecution of the Bundy’s and the murder of Lavoy Finicum by the Fascist Jack Booted FBI Thugs showed Americans what vermin parading as law is like. The FBI should never be trusted again.

The FBI, CIA, and the rest of the “Deep State” found out in 1963 that they could depose the head of state in a coup lead by LBJ. They have been condensing their power ever since. No indication that will ever happen. We are not like Israel in times past when curses and blessings were met by their behavior to God. We are “aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the
covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:” (Eph 2:12) ….unless one has trusted in the FINISHED work at the cross according to I Cor 15:1-4 KJV.

2 Timothy 3:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Meugene writes some good things on this thread. See below.

          • James Higginbotham

i feel myself it will only happen when we have to go through either a REVOLUTION, OR CIVIL WAR, and people are brought to their KNEES BY ALL THE DEATHS AND DESTRUCTION that will come by it.
and i do fear that’s COMING OUR WAY SOONER THAN WE THINK.

          • dauden

Or, those who are saved by the grace of God are raptured out of this world so that God can then execute judgement upon it. And there’s no warning or knowledge when that will happen. We know in those prophetic books concerning the time after the rapture that a 3.5 yr period of world peace happens before the anti-christ declares himself to be god. THEN, all hell breaks loose. Perhaps that revolution never takes place.

          • James Higginbotham

what you say is food for thought, but i think we will just have to SEE WHAT DEVELOPS AND COMES OUR WAY?.
either way, HOPE FOR THE BEST, BUT PREPARE FOR THE WORST LIKE A LOT OF US HAVE.

          • meugene

It is indeed wise to be as prepared as possible for trials and small “t” tribulation; as Jesus himself warned, there would come wars and rumors of wars…famine, pestilence, and earthquakes, etc. (And as the saying goes, “One nuke can spoil your whole day.”)

But our goal and purpose in life is not to survive all these things by stockpiling “bullets, beans, and bandaids.” Rather, as we seek to understand the times from a biblical perspective, we discover that in accordance with the prophecies of Daniel, America is in its last days as an independent, sovereign nation.

Indeed, the U.S. has already been fashioned into an instrument of the NWO that is working towards global governance, which the Bible tells us will have ten divisions or ten “kingdoms” under Antichrist—one of which appears to be the North American Union.

When we begin to see these things coming to pass, God’s Word comforts us with the assurance of Jesus’ soon return—first, for his church at the Rapture (prior to God’s wrath and judgment upon the earth) and second, when Christ returns “with all his saints” to establish his Millennial kingdom.

Therefore, our first priority as “preppers” for this inevitable and imminent series of events is not physical, but spiritual. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)

          • James Higginbotham

you make good points, but I AM STILL A MARINE RETIRED, we never leave ANYTHING TO CHANCE, WE HOPE FOR THE BEST, BUT PREPARE FOR THE WORST, AND THAT’S INGRAINED INTO ME FROM EXERANCE./
i am NOT trying to gain the whole world just my little part of it,
byt i WILL DEFEND IT TOTALLY.

          • meugene

Thank you for your service. I am not a pacifist; nor should we be passive when it comes to protecting our home and family. But I do exhort brothers in Christ to hold possessions and property as loosely as possible in this world. Constitutional rights are given by government, and so they can be taken away. Similarly, the Scriptures exhort us to lay up treasures in heaven, because everything we “store up” on earth is subject to decay or theft (see Matthew 6:19-20). So, having this eternal perspective brings peace instead of fear, anger, and anxiety. As far as evil-doers, God will judge them. Our mission is simply to extend a hand to as many who want to get into the lifeboat of Jesus Christ in these increasingly perilous times. God bless!

          • James Higginbotham

you are WRONG on where we get our RIGHTS.
AND THE GOVT DOES NOT GIVE US OUR RIGHTS, THEY COME FROM GOD.
and the govt is supposed to PROTECT THOSE RIGHTS, WHICH WAS THE PURPOSE OF THE FIRST 10 BILLS OF RIGHTS TELLING GOVT TO NOT INFRINGE UPON THEM.
and that’s where a LOT OF PEOPLE AND POLITICIANS GET IT WRONG ALL THE TIME.
and is the main reason they THINK THEY CAN USURP YOUR RIGHTS.

Hey James, thanks for “SHOUTING” back. Since the Bill of Rights comes from God, can you please give me the chapters and verses in the Bible where God either grants or guarantees” these rights?

We have the Ten Commandments given to the Hebrews, but where are the “Ten Amendments”? Which heroes of the faith stood up to bad government for their “inalienable rights.” (And how did that work for Moses, when he took the law into his own hands?) Did Joseph fight for his “inalienable rights” when he was thrown into a pit by his brothers? Did he fight for his “inalienable rights” when he was falsely accused and imprisoned?

Did Daniel attempt to demonstrate his “inalienable rights” when he was taken captive by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon? Did Hannaniah, Mishael, and Azariah cite chapter and verse for their “right to assemble” and their “freedom of religion” before they were thrown into the fiery furnace for refusing to bow before the king’s statue? Did Daniel cite his “inalienable rights” before he was thrown to the lions under King Darius of Medo-Persia?

Let’s turn to the New Testament. Did Paul or the other apostles whip out their little pocket Constitution when they were imprisoned for preaching the gospel? Did they rally the early church to draft a Declaration of Independence from Rome? Did the disciples of Jesus form a militia? Did they join the First Century NRA and “rally the troops” to overthrow the Romans?

            The answer is no.

            Plain and simple.

Of course, all truth and all morality is based on an understanding of the nature of man, and God’s standards, which are found in the Bible. And the reason our rule of law is failing is because our nation has thrown off the restraints of God’s word. But nowhere are “inalienable rights” guaranteed in Scripture. In fact, the Bible is more of a history lesson on how Christians respond to man’s inhumanity to man. How believers in Christ should respond to those who commit evil. And how God will ultimately deal with wickedness.

Historically, good governments acknowledge God; evil governments do not. But the phrase “inalienable rights” is a misnomer. All of our “rights” are in fact, “alienable.” In other words, we CAN and WILL be separated from them at the whim of any dictator. Does this make it “right”? No, of course not. All political evil is derived from spiritual evil—which is a rejection of God.

To the extent we still have laws, they are (supposed to) protect us. But the fact is, they are now being used to abuse and imprison us. Why? Because the foundations have been destroyed. As the Psalmist laments, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Do we fire up another armed revolution? Again, where is the biblical basis for such an insurrection?

The truth is that there is none. Even the American Revolution, as much as it is lauded and celebrated by “Christian Patriots” was not a God-directed war for independence to achieve religious freedom.

So, what is our recourse today? We turn to God, not government, as our Shield and Defender. The Scriptures teach believers how to be patient and how to endure persecution and suffering, as millions do even to this day around the world.

            Here’s a little homework assignment:

            Read Hebrews 11:13-40.

            Read Matthew 5:38-48.

            Read Romans 12:17-21.

            Read 2 Timothy 2:9-12.

            Read 1 Peter 3:12-17.

And then let me know what the Scriptures say about our “inalienable rights” to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

          • James Higginbotham

for one thing SLICK, WE HAVE UNALIENABLE RIGHTS, NOT INALIENABLE RIGHTS.
and we were BORN with those RIGHTS, all govt was to do is PROTECT THEM.
now go read HOW all of this became the CONSTITUTION.
and yep at times I SHOUT, because some people as YOURSELF DON’T GET IT.

          • meugene

            Thanks for the tip, James.

(FYI, I was a champion speller in my home state, have a bachelor’s degree, was editor of a national newsletter for 11 years, and am a published author.)

“Unalienable” was indeed the spelling used by Jefferson; but “inalienable” is today’s preferred spelling, and means the same thing. Here it is copied straight from the dictionary:

            inalienable |inˈālēənəb(ə)l|

unable to be taken away from or given away by the possessor: freedom of religion, the most inalienable of all human rights.

So, the words are quite interchangeable as you can see.

BTW, I’m quite familiar with all the “Freedom Documents.” My father served in the Air Force and Army Reserves. So I was born and bred an all-American patriot. As a young student, I memorized the Preamble to the Declaration and the Constitution, Patrick Henry’s “Give Me Liberty…” speech, and the Gettysburg Address. I revered the flag and have a trophy for volunteering to raise and lower it every day in junior high.

But after decades of faithfully celebrating the myth of our nation’s “Christian Founding” I came to learn that God didn’t write the Declaration, nor the Constitution, neither did he sanction any of the wars in which our brave men and women have died, along with millions of innocent lives all over the world.

In fact, I learned that nearly all of our wars have been manufactured and that our soldiers are primarily being used to serve the nefarious interests of the CIA, the Military Industrial Complex, and the bankers who are building a New World Order. Further, one only has to take a look at our nation’s most cherished monuments to recognize they are Masonic, not Christian. Freemasonry is derived from Egyptian, Assyrian, and Babylonian religions, all wrapped up in Jewish Mysticism (pagan idolatry).

After initial depression and disillusionment at discovering the way our government really works—deceiving and terrorizing its own citizens with false flag attacks (including 9/11) as a means to enrich wicked men and justify endless war in order to establish an antichrist NWO, I also re-discovered that God has given us something far more precious and eternal than any false hope of “Making America Great Again.” God gave us His Word and His only begotten Son, Jesus, who Created us and paid for our sins by His own blood.

Jesus declared that if we believe on him, then we “shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32). Indeed, it is only the truth of God’s Word that sets us free from all the lies, deception, disillusionment, and the broken “American Dream.”

James, I earnestly hope that you will read the Scripture references I’ve posted, and pray over them for wisdom and understanding. It is truly the greatest gift of peace to know in your heart that God, not guns, will be your Shield and Defender. As the Apostle Paul declared, “to live is Christ; to die is gain.”

May God grant you his perfect peace in the perilous times to come as you pray and reflect on his promises. Because the Word of God is the only “unalienable” right we have—not only for this short life, but for eternity to come.

            thanks for the post.
and i AM A BIBLE READING MAN, READ IT EVERYDAY.

Those who believe that a “shooting revolution” is a viable last resort to “take back America” are sorely misguided, both practically and spiritually.

Not only is such a fantasy unachievable today (just look at the technology and firepower gap between common men and the military-industrial complex) but the premise of armed revolution as a means to establish a godly government is nowhere to be found in the Bible.

As Jesus explained before Pilate, “My kingdom is not of this world, [or else would] my servants fight” (John 18:36). Instructively, not one of the disciples were martyred to protect their political “rights” given by men—but rather they were killed because they proclaimed the gospel of peace, given by God:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Sadly, the problem today is not finding enough good men who will fight to keep their rights—but in finding enough good men who will die to their misplaced faith in the American dream.

As Jesus explained, “He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life” (John 12:25). And as the apostle Paul declared, “to live is Christ; to die is gain.”

Militarism is not the way to “restore” America; neither will ever be the means to establish godly government:

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5a).

          • meugene

Yes, John Adams, our second President, explained: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

In other words, when the majority of our nation’s population and leadership is “moral and religious”—that is, respects a code of morality and the ultimate authority upon which that code is based (allegedly the Bible)—the Constitution succeeds at protecting the nation and upholding the rule of law.

Conversely, when the majority of our nation’s population and leadership is amoral (lovers of self; lovers of pleasure; lovers of violence; lovers of money; lovers of evil) and refuse to be governed by any moral authority except for that which is “right in their own eyes,” then the Constitution is incapable of protecting the nation from God’s judgment and self-destruction, because the rule of law has become corrupt.

So the real problem in America is not political, but spiritual. As the Psalmist points out, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3). The foundation of any culture is not merely the principles set forth in its Constitution or any legal document, but the respect and conviction of the moral or religious code upon which that document is based.

Therefore, regardless of whether Trump succeeds in “draining the swamp,” of treasonous criminals and pedophiles, the United States will continue to decline, because the foundation has been destroyed. Not only has our Constitution been undermined, but our moral code has been overturned. Prayer and the Word of God have been banned from our nation’s schools, meeting halls, and military.

The antichrist media and amoral activists in our nation will never let these return; our once “Christian” nation has turned its back on God, except in the vaguest general sense that makes no sense at all, unless one is pagan or polytheistic. Today, the values of Satanists and pagans are not only protected, but promoted.

In spite of this agenda of “tolerance,” a significant number of Americans still pay lip service to the motto, “In God We Trust”—but to which God does the motto refer? The Mormon God? The Catholic God? The Muslim God? the Jewish God? the Evangelical Protestant God?

It may come as a surprise to those who consider themselves Christian Patriots, but the Constitution does not specify or identify which God. The truth is, many of our Founding Fathers were deists and Freemasons—belief systems that are antithetical to biblical Christianity.

As Manly Hall explains, a true Mason “worships at every shrine, bows before every altar, whether in temple, mosque or cathedral, realizing . . . the oneness of all spiritual truth.”

In contrast, the very first commandment God gave to Moses is “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3). As Jesus declared, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father [God] but by me” (John 14:3). Christ also explained, “I and my Father are one” (10:10). From Genesis to Revelation, this is the clear teaching of the Bible; it is the origin of the Gospel, which is the foundation of Christianity.

And therein lies the irony: The Constitution which many believe defines and protects a Christian nation does no such thing. In fact, it defends and promotes religious pluralism. But the myth of “Christian America” unravels from our nation’s beginning:

Our nation’s first President, George Washington, was a Freemason who was sworn in to office upon a Masonic Bible, presided over by Freemasons.

America’s second President, John Adams, was a universalist whose denomination became Unitarian Universalist—a religious sect which teaches that “all dogs go to heaven” regardless of what they profess or confess.

And our nation’s third President, Thomas Jefferson, physically cut up his Bible, eliminating all the text with which he did not agree—specifically, he sought to eradicate the miraculous works of Christ and His claims to deity.

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

With this in mind, one must carefully consider whether we were ever a “godly nation” to begin with.

And further, would a truly Christian nation embrace a Masonic goddess as a symbol of “liberty?” Would a truly Christian nation name its capitol after the goddess of Columbia and establish her image atop its capitol dome? Would a truly Christian nation erect the world’s tallest obelisk in its capitol—a phallic symbol that honors the false gods of Egypt and represents spiritual fornication with fallen angels (demonic entities)?

            No, no, and no.

Therefore, if our Founding Fathers and first Presidents were not themselves founded upon the Word of God, and if our nation’s capitol was established from day one in the name of a goddess, and if our most cherished memorials and monuments are consecrated to pagan deities, then it should be no wonder why America is now ripe for judgment.

In America’s past, the only thing preventing judgment was the presence of “a moral and religious people” who acted as salt (a preservative) and light (beacons of truth).

So, after the foundations are destroyed, what comes next?

Read the 7 short verses in Psalm 11 to find out…

We can only stay optimistic that the new SecInt will deal with over reach from bloated entities like the BLM. Let the states and the people deal with these tracts.

  • gomurr

The DOJ has opened an investigation into the gross misconduct and abuse in the Bundy case by the BLM. As to what is going on in the Mueller investigation, the memos are going to made public, and I don’t think they’re going to be able to put the genie back in the bottle this time. America has finally reached the tipping point, and I say, bring it on.

  • Brabantian

Daily Bell is missing it here. The ‘Bundy ranch’ case and the ‘Oregon standoff’ were both also manipulated, fake situations run by the oligarchs

Behind the Bundy ranch scheme, are the billionaire Koch brothers – as Deep State as they come – who seek to create a pretext for privatising US government lands which the oligarchs can then cheaply buy for themselves, the Bundys – involved in accusations of child labour and child abuse – are a front for the Koch Bros.

Amongst ‘Major Bloopers in Oregon Militia Standoff Fraud’ (see Russ Winter – New Nationalist) involving the Bundys, was a moment in the live streaming where the US gov handler barged in, not realising the audio and video was live & running, and asked people to sign ‘actor release forms’

Another related shill here is the psy-op Brandon Smith of Alt-Market, involved with the Bundys, who helps the US gov to collect info on dissidents ‘Don’t worry about surveillance’ he advises his readers … Smith’s followers are a big US gov database, so they know all the gun-toting ‘liberty movement’ types who need to get put in the FEMA camps when the SHTF

Brandon Smith deletes from his site, anyone who dares to ask questions
about his involvement with the Koch Brothers, or the Bundy – Oregon scam
Smith was involved in, where the gov was asking the participants to
sign the ‘crisis actor release forms’

President Donald J Trump now has a record of accomplishments and the people now know what he says he means. The people also know what he promises he means to do for the welfare of “all” Americans. Not just conservatives. As JFK said a rising tide raises all ships. Getting the word out is difficult because the MSM will not cover him honestly but the word is slowly but surely getting out. He wishes to make no personal gains, just gains for the nation! He is succeeding in doing just that in spite of the MSM’s furious hatred. It has become obvious to most real Americans we finally have a President who knows what to do to get America back on track and is willing and able to make the appropriate personal sacrifice to be successful. All that is in spite of he MSM. Certainly not because of it!

Seems to me there may be a lesson there for all to learn.

Furthermore, the people who are paying attention can see through the dimms charade. Those oppressive socialists are phony and corrupt to the core without exception.

So far the oppressive socialists who refer to themselves as progressive democrats (nothing could be farther from the truth because they are neither progressive nor do they fit the definition of liberal) are on the wrong side of history and their actions will not fair well for them come next election unless they change. They offer America and Americans no positive plans. However, Americans are tired of the politics of destruction put forth by these oppressive socialists. That seems to be the only plan the oppressive socialists have. We hear a lot about President Trumps approval rating but hear little about the oppressive socialists approval rating or even the approval rating of congress.

In spite of the lies and innuendo spread by the MSM and the phony oppressive socialists the truth is finally beginning to come out and it may get intense in the coming weeks.

The corruption of the oppressive socialist party and MSM is finally being exposed for what it is. The next few weeks ain’t gonna be pretty but it is important and necessary for this wonderful nation! The MSM may even be forced to report the news fairly.

Really?!!! Make Amerika great again? Have you any idea of this man’s character? The MAN Donald Trump, is a PIG. His abusive, sexist, shameful treatment of women is disgusting, despicable, disgraceful, and deplorable! I wouldn’t expect anything great to come of his presidency except personal gain and a continued new world order!

  • Samarami

Skimming through some of this tripe makes me more than thankful that I’ve not owned television for near-on fifty years; and have not listened to mainstream radio news for around twenty (perhaps more). To many I would be considered illiterate — certainly illiterate from mainstream media. I’ve never “seen” Trump speak, and have no intentions of starting any time soon. What he utters (or sputters) has no bearing on my life.
My President maintains the rotation of the earth on its axis. I support The Incumbent.
