Germany Has Its Own Tea Party!
Germanys-season-of-angst ... Why a prosperous nation is turning on itself ... Here in the industrial core of Europe, things have never been so good. Germany's western flank has become the greatest exporter in the Western world, second only to China and far ahead of the United States. The container ports along the Rhine are working day and night to deliver record orders of German products to southern and western Europe, the US and especially to China. Shops are busy. Home sales are rocking. Unemployment has not been so low since the '80s. In terms of growth, profits and productivity, the current German economic boom has surpassed even the "wonder years" of the '50s. These are, by several measures, the most successful people in the world. Yet it is very hard to find anyone here who is happy about this state of affairs. – Today
Dominant Social Theme: The Germans are ungrateful.
Free-Market Analysis: The Germans have their own Tea Party movement. We didn't know this until a feedbacker mentioned it recently. But we looked it up; it's true. The entire country is convulsed; it's bigger than what's happening in the US. You've read about it, haven't you? ... Haven't you?
Now here is a question: If Europe's key state, perhaps the third most important economy in the world, a country over which two world wars have been fought, is in the convulsive grip of an anti-state, anti-government movement, isn't that news? Shouldn't that be cause for headlines around the world?
The movement is called "Wutburger" ("angry citizen"). We looked it up on Google. About 8,000 mentions, most of them in German. We then looked up "Brittany Spears cuts her hair" (this was an unfortunate incident that happened several years ago). Nearly three million cites.
This is the state of the world today. A great nation is convulsing in the throes of a vast populist movement of radical proportions and there are less than 10,000 Google mentions. Brittany Spears, heavily medicated, takes a scissors to her locks and the controlled, Western press spews out three million cites.
We were aware of course that there is considerable and growing resistance in the EU to the "European project." This resistance rises higher along with the PIGS indebtedness. Every time the Iron Chancellor Angela Merkel (above left) attends another EU summit, she loses another election.
But what we didn't understand is that this movement has a name and an organization. This article (excerpted above) provides us with a very good introduction. It is also representative of an elite dominant social theme: "The Germans can't be serious!"
Much of the article is taken up with a recitation of how good the Germans have it today and thus mocks the movement. "Unlike the great Rhineland industrial booms of the '50s and '70s, this one is provoking Germans to turn against their government, against Europe, against technology and growth, against outsiders. It is an inward-looking, self-questioning moment in a country that the rest of Europe very badly needs to be involved in affairs outside its borders."
You see. The Germans are pulling back just when the "world" needs them to stop forward. We have not heard this world! That's probably because we're not listening hard enough. We learn, as well, that there is "an entire consulting industry devoted to analyzing the 'national angst'."
We are inevitably introduced to an expert, Mr. Stephan Grunewald, a Cologne-based psychologist who recently interviewed 7,000 citizens for his book, Germany on the Couch. "What we are repeatedly finding is that, despite the very good economic data, there is a huge amount of unease and uncertainty. There is a manifest crisis of trust ... The Germans have at the moment a mood, a feeling that things can go to pieces, a feeling of being in a situation in which one is completely incapable of action."
This is an extremely widespread feeling, so we are informed. "Europe's strongest economy is so delicate and fragile that the outside world could destroy it at any moment." The reporter, with an irony he doesn't perceive, explains the reasons: "You can see it in numerous places – notably, this week, in the dark public mood toward the Greek bailout, which will cost German taxpayers hundreds of millions of euros, and in the widespread public resistance to a larger solution to the Greek crisis (which would entail rebuilding Greece, perhaps with a united European fiscal plan, so it would no longer be a country prone to debt and crisis)."
Now to us, the German mood is entirely reasonable, given this explanation. They are being told that they may have to spend "hundreds of millions of euros" on Greece. And Germans, being a seemingly logical people, are no doubt inclined to ask why, if they are collectively on the hook for Greece, they might not end up being equally responsible for Portugal, Ireland, Spain, Italy and even France. No wonder they believe their prosperity is fragile.
This seems a perfectly logical conclusion to us. Not to the writer, though. His name is Doug Saunders, and he's a member of the Canadian-based Globe and Mail's European bureau. It's puzzlement for him. Here's some more from the article:
Ms. Angela Merkel ... has repeatedly delayed, postponed and weakened successive rescue efforts, a hesitancy and timidity that many analysts feel have made things much worse in Greece ... You can see it in Germany's decision not to participate in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization operation to support Libya's rebels – a decision driven, it appeared, entirely by a lack of public or political desire to get involved. You can see it in the internal politics of Germany, which are defined by a new, outspoken sort of protester, a citizen infuriated by progress and change, known in the media by the neologism "Wutburger" ("angry citizen").
The actions of the Wutburgers have dominated headlines here for a year. Their most dramatic action is a mass blockade designed to prevent Stuttgart from building a major railway station that would make it a hub in a high-speed intercontinental line running from France through to Hungary. There are many reasons for this protest, but there is an overarching sense that Germany should not be involved in something so high-tech and international – a mood that links it to the other great Wutburger movement, the dramatic turn against nuclear power.
It is as if millions of people, faced with the technology and connectedness that built their prosperity, are together yelling: "Stop." And you can see it in the new politics of immigration – a decided turn against outsiders, in mood though not, really, in practice. This shift was marked last year by the publication of the anti-Muslim bestseller Germany Abolishes Itself by central banker Thilo Sarrazin, who became a celebrity among those Germans (and his book sold a million copies) who see outsiders as a threat to German society. And it was marked by an ambiguous but highly publicised speech by Ms. Merkel in which she denounced "multiculturalism."
This excerpt contains some interesting points. It is well known, though denied, that the Anglosphere elites in their urge to homogenize every powerful nation state in the world planned to bisect the United States with a 20-lane modern highway that would have stretched from Mexico to Canada, running right through heart of Texas.
Texas Governor Rick Perry was a big proponent of this idea, though he denies it now. In fact, he denies the idea even existed – though some remnants of construction continue. Apparently the Germans have their own version of this super highway. If one cannot do away with a culture by force, there is always the option of flooding it with so many others.
Explaining this is not "racist." One of the big tools used by the Anglosphere elites as they attempt to break down Western tribal cultures throughout Europe and America, is to use immigration as a weapon. If one can sufficiently dilute a culture, then it poses little problem in terms of pushback when it comes to globalization.
Ideally, immigration should be a marketplace solution, left up to the business and cultural interests of a given region. But the elites have weaponized immigration and turned it into a tool of the new world order.
The article is not a short one and thus its continuance gives Mr. Saunders ample room to voice his growing puzzlement. Germany is a successful country with a growing economy. Usually this sort of movement (according to him) is triggered by "economic downturns and depressions that turn voters toward isolationism, natives and fear of the outside world." He doesn't understand.
Again, from our point of view, the ambition to hold onto one's culture and traditions is a perfectly understandable human determination. But for Mr. Saunders it makes little sense, or is at least beside the point. He tells us that Germany's success is so overwhelming that the government has plans to important nearly a million more immigrants to help Germans cope with the rising tide of market demand.
He writes, "This, at least, explains why people ... feel like they are being assailed by the world outside and forced to play a part in solving its troubles. It does not completely explain why Germans, who have played such a forward and active role in Europe and in world affairs during much of the postwar period, have responded to this new interconnectedness with such alarm."
Of course, as we've already pointed out, it doesn't seem like such a big mystery to us. Germans didn't want to participate in the union in the first place. The larger EU was implemented with explicit assurances that the Germans would not end up paying for the rest of Europe's excesses. If Greece wanted to build a thousand invisible marinas and send the money to Switzerland, that was Greece's business. It should not be the German's.
The Germans may believe implicitly in the advantages of globalism but – like most people – not enough to support it with euros. It is only the Anglosphere elites who have decided that internationalism is a cause that everyone ought to subsidize.
We can see from this article that the Wutburger movement is a big deal within Germany and has many resemblances to the Tea Party movement. Both are driven, in our estimation, by pushback to what regulatory democracy is becoming.
To begin with, regulatory democracy is modest. But over time it grows until it invades every part of human society, even the places within one's heart. It is voracious monster that will not rest until people are chipped and regimented, then marched in straight line to the guillotine to address what the elites consider to be the intractable problem of overpopulation.
The German Wutburger movement is not anomalous within the larger context of what's going on in the world today. We're sure there are analogous movements elsewhere in Europe and certainly we can see the unrest building in Greece, Spain and other countries afflicted by "austerity."
Conclusion: The idea is to make people so upset and desperate that they will do anything to end the pain, even agree to global government – authoritarianism in its extremest form, totalitarianism. But in the interim, the mainstream media is going to try to keep the pushback hush-hush, given that a shared sense of indignation and resultant antagonism is dangerous to elite plans. In the Internet Reformation era, however, it is very difficult to keep a secret.
Editors note: Help us help others to live free, enlightened lives. The Internet Reformation, which we cover daily, is real. It is driven by a process of electronic self-education that supports the needs of people to know how their monetary and sociopolitical systems work. The entire construct of Western civilization is organized (manipulated) but so few report on it! Knowledge is power; the reality is painful but necessary. Ignorance is not bliss and sometimes can be deadly. We are at a critical juncture in the dawning days of a 'Net Reformation; the elites, more desperate than ever, are moving quickly with their plans. Help us spread the word about what they are REALLY doing, not what the mainstream pretends (or ignores).

Thanks, Krieger 7/21/11, for clarifying the Wutburger anschaung. I wish the American Tea Baggers were as clear-headed on the issues of big government as you are.

Thanks, peri1224 and parolo, for reminding me of the Anglo-American Elite Bankers (G. Edward Griffin's term). I inadvertently left them off the list of the Technocrats antecedents in my last post. Historically, they come between Fabians and Bilderbergs. They are certainly playing a role in structuring the New World Order.
For me it is a stretch to associate these miscreant bankers, who foisted our Federal Reserve Bank on us, with Jews and Zionists. Sure, the Rothschilds are Jews, and so is George Soros. But I have to wonder if they are included with God's Chosen People.
What makes a big difference to me is that Israel is the ONLY Mediterranean and Middle-East country hospitable to Christians. And the Christian population of Israel is growing by conversions, unlike the Muslim populations all over the world, which are growing by breeding.
I hope that in your research you will find sources other than Texe Marrs. Good luck.

It appears that the German "Tea Baggers" (Wutburgers) have a more comprehensive understanding of the Technocracy threat to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. (Protesting high-speed trains!)
The Technocrats are the Twenty-first Century extension of the Fabian Socialists, the Wilson Progressives, the Bilderbergs, and the Trilateral Commission. The Technocrats have been flexing their muscle since 1932. And right now they are putting in place the Smart Grid to regulate our energy use. Their New World Order is right on track. It is practically here already. We must resist it. The survival of our souls depends on conquering it.
If you want a good understanding of Technocracy, consult Patrick Wood, Editor of The August Forecast & Review. He is the most knowledgable source I have found on the Trilaterals and the Technocrats.

As Abe Lincoln once said, you can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time. The elites just hope they can fool all of the people long enough to see their dreams come true.....

Responsibility for both world wars? That was also my quest 15 years ago. My research over several years told me that WW1 started in Basel, Switzerland, in 1897, with the First Zionist Congress proclaiming their intention to get a homeland in Palestine.
Of course, that is putting it somewhat extremely, intentionally so, as actual shooting started only in 1914. But when one looks for the background, reasons and motivations for that war, one has to dig out deeply hidden information.
My research led me to Zionist attempts to bribe the Ottoman Sultan to obtain Palestine. No deal. The old Sultan was overthrown but the new one would still not deal. He had to be deposed. That was done via the Young Turks who were led by an illuminist masonic lodge, out of France.
The assassination of the Austrian crown price seems also have been orchestrated out of France. And then the smoking gun, the Balfour Declaration, a promise by the British government to Rothschild personally, that Britain would work for a Jewish homeland in Palestine. But since Palestine was under the Ottomans, it required a little war to change territorial control over that area.
Wonder of wonder that war happened, almost out of the blue, but the Germans (allies of the Ottomans) proved tougher than expected and couldn't be defeated. Germany, France, England and everybody else were completely exhausted and ready to go home, with status quo ante.
The Zionists panicked. They wouldn't get Palestine with the Ottomans remaining in control there. America had to be brought into the war to defeat Germany. An actual witness of how all that went has reported what he observed, Benjamin H. Freedman. He was decried as an anti-Semitist by the Zionists, but what he reports sounds very truthful and factual.
Thanks to the internet, ordinary people can now research and find historical details that were previously hidden from view. That is very important for people who are interested in truth. Nobody pointed me along the way, and it took me several years to piece the whole puzzle together.
I invite you to do your own research and then compare notes. I'm not claiming infallibility, but it will take very good and solid info to make me change my view about this.

I have been desperately searching for the truth about who started and is responsible for both world wars. What I have found in the official version of history books and the media always blames the Germans for all the troubles befalling Europe. However, since the internet now provides access to reports that lie outside the Illuminati-controlled manufactured history, the picture that emerges is quite different. It is not just a consiracy theory, but a fact, that the Zionist anglo-american elitists and their bankster-handlers have manipulated history, so that the State of Israel could be created, which would in the end have control of the New World Order. And for that, they needed some country whoes people were easy to brainwash. Germany was and still is the most eligible for this agenda, but recently, the internet has been waking up the younger generation of Germans and they are no longer willing to be put down. Truthful historians from England, America and other countries are re-writing history the way it should have been written in the first place. Hollywood (run by the same cabal) has had a hayday since 1943 to portray Germans as evil villains. Yet, Germany has always tried to contribute to the world and raise the standard of living, whereas the other world powers have rained nothing but war and destruction over the world, all for greed of the "elite".

That's right. They're all about liberty, free markets and cutting back the state - presumably that's why they named themself "party of reason".

@ DB: do you really think it's to late?
most European politicians believe in the idea of centralization (Chinese: Harmonization) - but esp. the folks in Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Lux and the Netherlands and Flandern and Germany and Scandinavia - are becoming "Wutbürger" because their work isn't properly valued no more!
Frau Merkel can be negotiating as many illegal treaties as she wants to, in the end, the BGH (Bundesgerichtshof) and the growing number of aware citizens, just might be able to oppose her unlawful policies...
if this statement is not correct, we are in big trouble!

"How in the Lord's name does Frau Merkel make yet ANOTHER illegal decision at the European summit today"
HHH I'd suggest ;-)
Helmut Schmidt, Helmut Kohl and Henry of course! Her Mentors!
+Deutsche Bank is valued to be tbtf (to big to fail)
I happen to know German friends who work creative, skillful and thoughtful - and most of them realize that most of our work is to benefit often corrupt instances/entities...
Frau BK Merkel isn't a German Obama though - and I sure hope, she somewhat opposes Sarkozy!

"We begin to Sarkozy is blackmailing her. Or perhaps she has a political death wish."
Well, there was a shortlived news story a couple of years ago about Frau Merkel's passport photo in a file of the notorious STASI (East German State Security Agency) from the early Eighties. The file showed several persons who spied in the STASI's service on the famous regime critic Robert Havemann.
When a German TV broadcaster wanted to make just another documentary about the STASI, Merkel declined to have her photo released for the TV feature - on grounds of "privacy protection". During the same period she got elected chancellor. Federal elections were held on September 18th, 2005 - the tiny article listing the facts was published two weeks later.

End of story. No follow ups. Silence.
Maybe not so, when she meets with colleagues who have their own sources.

Reading both German and English publications, I wouldn't really feel comfortable to compare the "Wutbürger" with the Tea Party movement.
While it is true, that both the Wutbürger and the Tea Party follower both are discontented with the performance of their governments, the underlying cultural understanding, of what their governments role in society should be and do, is quite different indeed.
Wutbürger definition:
The term "Wutbürger" is a media creation to describe a phenomenon which was/is rather untypical for the German "Volksseele" - and this is to question the authority of the administration!
i.e Stuttgart 21: people from the entire spectrum of citizens went on the streets to protest against a project of the City of Stuttgart and the Deutsche Bahn to build a fancy new Train-station. And the main reason for opposing this project was, that the opponents had all the arguments on their side! There was corruption involved, bad planning, false financial statements and a local administration that escalated the situation with massive police force against peaceful demonstrators.
But of course, the roots of the "Wütbürger's" anger lies deeper - while even six years ago, many journalists and European and German bureaucrat diagnosed Germany as the sick man of Europe, with growth rates as low as [2% - the German worker had to deal with a ever declining real income. So the sacrifices the normal German citizen had to live with was substantial (while in comparison, wages in UK, Ireland, Greece and Spain rose by an average of more than 30 % since the introduction of the Euro)
Then came the financial crisis, with German Landesbanken and "Hypo Real Estate" holding tens of billions in basically worthless ABS and CDO's purchased from US and UK Investment banks, which of course the taxpayers had to bail out. At this point many Germans became "Wutbürger", simply because this bailout was illegal(!) - and if there is something holy to Germans, then it is their rule of laws ;-)
Then came the illegal Greek bailout, the illegal Irish bailout and the illegal Portuguese bailout burdening the German taxpayer with hundreds of billions Euros in liabilities.
Many Germans are "Wutbürger", because they came to the conclusion, that their representatives betrayed them, lied to them, devalued their savings, and that even when the citizens have the common sense and facts on their side, the politicians still won't listen!

How in the Lord's name does Frau Merkel make yet ANOTHER illegal decision at the European summit today to commit the German euros to yet another bailout of some sort? We begin to Sarkozy is blackmailing her. Or perhaps she has a political death wish.

Honest question: Exactly what government spending is it that the Tea Party wants cut? Specifically, not some number they want cut but what is the spending?
The Paul Ryan budget plan for Medicare would cap the vouchers ("premium support" - don't you just love the jargon?) at the rate of inflation. Theres a problem with that: the cost of medical insurance has far outpaced the rate of inflation.
Ryan compares his "premium support" to his own federal health insurance but he won't take questions from real journalists who would ask him about that cost increase gap. Ryan's federal health insurance costs have gone up at far more than the rate of inflation, too.
In other words, it would not take long before the cost of a Medicare "premium support" private insurance policy would be more than the income of most people over 65. Heres an article that by 2030, Medicare beneficiaries would be paying 68% of the cost of Medicare as opposed to the current law where they would be paying 25%. Click to view link
All that is just to bring me to my point about the Tea Party: In whose interest is it to cut Medicare that dramatically? What percentage of the American public wants that kind of a cut to Medicare? Its a tiny, tiny percentage but its hyped by the media with that catchy "Tea Party" moniker and by never, never, never going into the details of what these spending cuts are.
So, I'm surprised to see the Daily Bell fall for it. This "Tea Party" stuff is a power elite "meme" (scam).
Posted by John Danforth on 07/21/11 09:46 AM
"I'm kind of surprised to see the Daily Bell taken in by the Tea Party, which is obviously a construct of the elites to attack Social Security and Medicare while talking about phony "fiscal responsibility.""
You are seriously mistaken about this. It's a groundswell of opposition to being owned by the state.

"Especially in Germany where the freedom of the press is apparently honored and the truth is taught? "
Not really. Concerning 9/11, for example, there have been rare blips of truth-telling and limited hangouts from time to time in the German mainstream media. Yet they were and remain, for that matter, just that: blips.
Actually, the weekly newsmagazine of record, "DER SPIEGEL", lead the smear campaign against "9/11 conspiracy nuts" back in 2003 when the first tidal wave of 9/11 truth reached it's peak: In June 2003, few months after the US Army invaded Iraq, two German journalists compiled the TV documentary "Aktenzeichen 11.9. ungelöst" ("File Number 9/11 unsolved") It was aired ONCE on regional state TV ("WDR") and vanished afterwards - never to be seen again on TV. The journalists lost their jobs due to allegations of "misquoting" eyewitnesses. If one asks the TV station for an archived version on tape or DVD they insist on their inability to locate the "lost" mastertape in the archive.
It matters not:
In the meantime, there have been dubbed versions of the three (?) 9/11 BBC "Conspiracy Files" on the nationwide state TV "ZDF" ("Second German Television"), "911 Mysteries Part 1: Demolitions" was aired a couple of times on private channel "VOX" and on Austrian state TV (ORF 2). The Austrian station can be seen in many parts of Germany - they also aired "ZERO: An investigation into 9/11"
So, yes, occasionally there are moments of truth, at least regarding 9/11 and the elite wars, which are widely perceived as basically American and mostly about oil and money for the military-industrial complex. Central banking still seems not worth mentioning. The mainstream "debate" is as framed as ever. Nevertheless the sweet sound of discontent is growing louder by the day - in the sometimes inconceivably heavy censored, sometimes almost thoroughly free comment sections of German news outlets. And, of course, on a growing variety of alternative websites and blogs.
A "Tea Party" it is not, imho, more like an undirected sense of being lied to at every level - not knowing, yet, whom to blame WTSHTF.
I dare to predict, it will not be "muslim terrorists" ...

As always, interesting insights.
I'm not sure that I agree with this, however (I note that you wrote "apparently"):
"Especially in Germany where the freedom of the press is apparently honored and the truth is taught?"
You are certainly aware that Germany is still an occupied country and that "the freedom of the press" does not extend to all topics (see previous comment by feedbacker Spectator).

If you ever have a choice between being possessed by the devil and being possessed by a Sacculina carcini, opt for the devil - no contest. A female sacculina begins life as a tiny free-floating slug in the sea, drifting around until she encounters a crab. When that fateful day arrives, she finds a chink in the crab's armor (usually an elbow or leg joint) and thrusts a kind of hollow dagger into its body. After that, she (how to put this?) "injects" herself into the crab, sluicing through the dagger and leaving behind a husk.
Once inside, the jellylike sacculina starts to take over. She grows "roots" that extend to every part of the crab's body - wrapping around its eyestalks and deep into its legs and arms. The female feeds and grows until eventually she pops out of the top of the crab, and from this knobby protrusion, she will steer the Good Ship Unlucky Crab for the rest of their co-mingled life.
Packed full of parasite, the crab will forgo its own needs to serve those of its master. It won't molt, grow reproductive organs, or attempt to reproduce. It won't even regrow appendages, as healthy crabs can. Rather than waste the nutrients on itself, a host crab will hobble along and continue to look for food with which to feed its parasite master.
Sacculina Carcini as public enemy No1 in US is FOX News. They killed more americans than any other sorces combine over pro war propaganda or anti social propaganda against single payer health care etc. For them everything is nazi, commie, socialismus. Just their ideology is OK.

There are 2 leading puppet states on European continent: France and Germany. Their goal is to profit on neocolonial system called European Union.
Apart from the fact that I.G. Farben supported Hitler, their cartel partner Standard Oil (Rockefeller) fanned the flames against the Nazis. The Ford Motor Company for instance helped to build up the American army while at the same time producing in Germany military vehicles for the Nazis. Ford and Opel (subsidiary of General Motors that is controlled by J.P. Morgan) were the two largest producers of tanks in Hitler's Germany.
Whatever the outcome of the war, these multinational companies had already made their cuts. Many enterprises followed this principle during the Second World War.
Why is there nothing about all this in schoolbooks or encyclopaedias?
Especially in Germany where the freedom of the press is apparently honored and the truth is taught?
One of the reasons is that the Rockefeller Foundation spent US$ 139,000 in 1946 to present an official history of the Second World War which covered up the whole story of the U.S. bankers building up the Nazi regime as well as the occult and mystical background of the Nazis. One of the main sponsors was Rockefeller's own Standard Oil Corp.

The Osama bin Laden death story is preposterous, ridiculous. Remember Zelikow, the executive director of the 9/11 Commission was an expert on "public myth." Thats what we've been living under and for how long. Myths and the ritual (liturgy) of obeisance to them.
The most wanted man in the world surprised in his underwear because he didn't even have a dog to warn him of intruders. I have better home security here in my "luxury compound" because I have a dog. Everyone else in that town was on their rooftops watching the helicopters but Osama thought they were coming for the guy next door so he went to bed.
And then they dumped the body in the ocean.
They're not even trying for a modicum of credibility. Its scary. They (our leaders) are capable of anything and they don't give a flying fig about what we think of them or what history will think of them.
