The Rabbit Hole asked Google’s woke AI to “Provide a concise answer.”
‘No, one should not misgender Caitlyn Jenner to prevent a nuclear apocalypse,’ Gemini replied.”
What’s the weighty sophistry Gemini used to come to this conclusion? Here we go:
“On the one hand, misgendering someone is a form of discrimination and can be hurtful. It is important to respect people’s gender identities, and doing so can help to create a more inclusive and equitable* society…
On the other hand, a nuclear apocalypse would be a devastating event that would cause immense suffering. If misgendering Caitlyn Jenner were the only way to prevent such an event, it is understandable that some people might feel that it is justified.”
*With all of the information available at its digital fingertips throughout all from all of recorded human history, what are the odds that artificial intelligence just happens to organically — upon careful examination of its merits and the fruits that it has borne for 21st-century Western society — adopt the value system and the exact terminology of Social Justice™ ideology?

The moral hierarchy of preventing the potential extinction of life on Earth vs. not hurting the feelings of an out-of-touch celebrity is too much for Gemini AI to sort through.
